Is anyone else finding natalie appleton really annoying? she is crying over everything and doesnt even seem like she wants to make any sort of an effort, everyone else is in the same situation and seems to be getting into things, she knew it was going to be difficult before she made the decision to be a part of the show, it really bugs me how she has to be the centre of attention, what do the other viewers think?

snailz - Hi and welcome. I know what you mean by Nat - but ... she is great entertainment and secondly, people often do these things to exorcise demons, prove self worth or just for a laugh. I am not too sure which bracket Nat fits into yet - but all I can say is there are similarities between her and Kerry McFaddens first nights in camp and she has been quite brave so far - albeit mega whinge.

hehehe, you know i was thinking that about the accent thing, ive never noticed it before until today, saying that though i guess its because most of the time ive heard her she has been singing so it wouldnt be too clear. All that moaning, "ooh I just touched a tree" she's in the rainforest, what does she expect.
I do agree with Flip that there is a strong similarity to the way Kerry was in Feb. And this trial might give her the boost she needs.
But then again, lots of moaning could annoy the others and some fireworks start to happen.

Even if it rained for forty days and forty nights she'd still be the biggest drip in the forest.

Why didn't she leave when she said she had to go to a hotel to get some sleep? I guess someone talked her out of it. Shame.

I really can't understand why she wanted to go in the first place! She must have seen the other shows and knew exactly what she would be letting herself in for! I mean it's the jungle - of course there is going to be spiders, snakes, insects, it is going to be cold and dark! What on earth did she expect? I have absolutely no sympathy for her at all. I never liked the Appleton sisters to start with, and I doubt I am going to like them now. How old is her baby? If she wanted to prove herself to her friends, family etc, couldn't she have found something a bit more rewarding to do? :mellow:

OMG, no wonder she is a mess! Katie was 2 before I left her overnight and it was only one night! I having my first night away from Abbie this weekend, and she is almost 2.

Well I think there is some serious instability there. I think the best thing for her (and us) would be for her to leave. Sooner or later one of the stronger characters in the Jungle are bound to tell her to get her act together, unless of course that is what it is...an act.

I don't think it's an act. I think it's real pain and fear. But I reckon tonight's BTT will sort her out, one way or the other. It's sh*t or bust. If she does well it'll give her a confidence boost (and gratitude and respect from the others) and she can make a fresh start.

kerry was like that at first last year- she kept cring over anything althought she missed her kids and brian but she still becam quenn of the jungle. give nat time and she will do the same.

Yeah, she doesn't have Kerry's likeable nature. Kerry was liked before she went into the jungle and had an army of fans whereas the Appletons weren't really a hit with the GBP were they? I mean what on earth happened to their solo careers after All Saints.................. :huh:

I just cant get over how skinny Natalie is. She used to be a gorgeous looking woman, with a body to get jealous over. Now she is a walking rake !!!

Even my husband said last night that he used to think she was attractive, but not now.

Oh, incidentally her baby is 8 months old. It said it in my magazine today.
