View Full Version : Live feed thread - For SPOILERS
Voice of reason 22-11-2004, 08:27 AM I don't watch the live feed but I know many do and like to post on what they have seen before it is aired in the evening show. It would be much appreciated if those who do could post that info' in this thread so as to avoid spoiling the evening show for others.
Many thanks :)
Minklemar 23-11-2004, 12:00 PM I've been watching a bit of the late night live programmes.
Dol, if you're here I wanted to let you know that Janet did let Sheila know what she thought of her ordering everyone about - I haven't put it in the other thready just in case they show it tonight, it was on the live footage on Sunday night.
Huggie has burnt his leg somehow and has a great big bandage on it.
Fran and Nancy seem to have a bit a a spark between them!
Critique 23-11-2004, 11:48 PM Been a bit like watching paint dry up to now but Sheila and Natalie have just been discussing someone who is really getting on their nerves. "There must be something to talk about other than one's self", "Exactly - I thought it was just me but she is really getting to me" "I know what you mean and I am trying to ignore them because if I say something .........(didn't catch that bit)" Thought at first they were taking about Janet but then they were promising that they would keep in touch after and then said something like strange how well they are getting on together - and also Janet - won't lose touch with her! They mentioned about "playing to the camera when it's on" (this person).
Must admit I missed some of the show this evening because of phone call - so who are they really fed up with?
Am surprised they showed that bit because up to then the sound was off more than it was on - seemed like the sound went of "for legal reasons" every time anyone opened their mouths
Natalie is worried that she is not being entertaining enough but Sheila reassures her that she has to just be herself - no putting on an act for the public.
Hi Critique,
there was nothing in the main show about this. You've got a scoop!
From what you heard the "she" might be Sophie and the "them" might be Sophie and Nancy, who've really become the girlie team, haven't they. I turned it off and went to bed before you made your post, so I didn't hear that bit, but I did see that pair spend a long time preparing to go to the pool. They put their bikinis on and milked it for all it was worth.
Hey, I know what you mean about the "sound off for legal reasons" annoyance. I'm not bothering much with the live feed this year because of this. It's not worth the effort. I leave it on for a few minutes after the shows finish, and I look in now and then during the day, but as far as I'm concerned they've blown it. Legal reasons. Yeah...
Bella 24-11-2004, 07:33 AM The person joining the others in the jungle is...................
None other than
VIC REEVES
Mmmmm, not too sure about that one! It was just announced on GMTV and Nancy knew he was coming, so well done for keeping it quiet. I would have liked to have known Nancy as Nancy but now we will be seeing her as Mrs Vic Reeves. And I wonder how the others will react to them getting the tree-house.................I assume the tree-house is for them?
Ceridwen 24-11-2004, 07:45 AM Oh for God's sake. Remember when they did this on "Back to Reality" and brought Jade Goody's boyfriend in? It didn't spice anything up at all - it just peed everyone off and meant that Jade and Jeff just cosseted themselves away and didn't join in with anything. It was utterly pointless, and so will this be.
How unfair on everyone else.
Grrrrrrr!! :ranting:
maxine 24-11-2004, 07:47 AM Stoopid idea! Although I do like Vic. Is he going to be eligible to win or is he just there for a day or 2?
Like Ceri said, very unfair on everyone else.
I think this is a terrible idea and won't it turn the others against Nancy when they find out that she knew this was going to happen!
It is like her having an unfair advantage ......
I'm with you there, Bella. I'm going to take a lot of convincing over this one. It doesn't seem like they've been in there long enough to establish the group dynamics properly, yet, and this is going to prevent things settling for even longer. If they're not given a chance to relax into the situation, we're never going to see anything but public faces and defensive postures.
I'm not sure how long my loyalty for the show will stretch if the producers start tweaking the format too much.
nopen 24-11-2004, 07:55 AM sophie has been getting it today about time, she spends all day in bed,
isleofweather 24-11-2004, 08:33 AM The problem with Vic Reeves is that he is not funny. His shows at one time were because they were different but now he comes across as difficult and unfunny. Oh how we will laugh when he tries to rise above it all and not take it seriously *yawn*
Now had they brought in Cannon and Ball....
Haydon 24-11-2004, 08:39 AM I wonder if Paddy Power are still taking bets on whether the person joining the camp is male or female? Could be a chance to make some money!
I agree, not sure that sending Vic in is going to 'spice things up'.
Kate=^..^= 24-11-2004, 10:41 AM and didn't Nancy say before she went in the show that she wanted to be known as somebody other than just "Vic Reeves wife".....?????
I am a huge fan of Vic Reeves but I don't think it's a good idea to bring him (or indeed anyone else in to the camp....)
Voice of reason 24-11-2004, 11:02 AM Ooooo thanks for the live gossip guys :)
Sending Vic in is the worst idea I have ever heard, for all the reasons already stated in this thread, in fact, I can't think of a good thing about it! Rubbish plan all round :glare:
Repetition 24-11-2004, 12:15 PM Must admit I missed some of the show this evening because of phone call - so who are they really fed up with?
I saw this bit - well, heard it mostly cuz the TV is behind me when I'm on here - but I didn't hear who they were talking about either. My GUESS is that it must be Sophie... cuz her favourite topic is herself.
Whatever she does, or has just done, or is about to do entails a commentary about the effect of whatever it may be upon her body. Earlier she KNEW she hadn't had enough water cuz her weight had gone up (or down) a bit. Blimey.... if anyone needs to find out which of their two Rizla papers is the heaviest.. it'd prolly be cheaper to hire her at her extortionate modelling rate than buy a set of atomic scales.
Minklemar 24-11-2004, 12:55 PM Been a bit like watching paint dry up to now but Sheila and Natalie have just been discussing someone who is really getting on their nerves.
I was watching this as well. I wasn't sure if they said her, him or them though.
I wokred out that it wasn't Paul they were talking about because he was there at the time and heard and joined in some of the conversation.
It wasn't Janet or Joe because they both said how nice they were.
The said something about performing for cameras and being different when they knew the cameras were on them.
I figured it was Sophie and Nancy they were talking about because just a little after their conversation in the question in the text box on the screen was 'Are Sophie and Nancy playing up to the camera?'
Nancy I quite like, but Sophie always looks like she has a bad smell under her nose.
hello everyone it is my 1st time on here :)
maxine 24-11-2004, 01:32 PM Hello Bug. Hope you have fun on SO!
that waz easy now were are the avator's by my name? thanks
hi maxine thatz a 1st sending a too short a message
Missessex 24-11-2004, 06:06 PM and didn't Nancy say before she went in the show that she wanted to be known as somebody other than just "Vic Reeves wife".....?????.)
I remember that?? most people are going to ask "WHY MARRY VIC REEVES!" What does she see in him, he isn't even funny??
Bonsai 25-11-2004, 08:53 AM This is a spoiler so beware.
This might be a red herring, but Emma B has been spotted making her way to australia, and rumour is that she is also going into the jungle to join her fiancee Brian Harvey.
Critique 25-11-2004, 03:01 PM Just watching the ITV2 coverage and I have to say that all the celebs seem to be very happy, chatty and eating well. Heard someone say that Paul was "the man" or something so we can assume that he did quite well with the BTT. (This is the spoiler thread so if you didn't want to know you shouldn't have looked - haha). Doesn't seem to be any sniping or anything and they all seem to be enjoying themselves much too much - haha. Doesn't look like Vic being there has had the desired effect - yet!! They will have to think of something nastier than that if they want to make the sparks fly I think.
I haven't seen it on ITV2 but apparently Sophie & Nat have had a falling out!
Minklemar 25-11-2004, 03:28 PM I haven't seen it on ITV2 but apparently Sophie & Nat have had a falling out!
I read about that on the ITV homepage - it said that Nat was fedup with Sophie playing up to the cameras so when they went to find the chest she asked Sophie if she wanted to walk in front so that she'd be closed to the camera.
When they got back to camp Sophie had a go at Nat for being scared and making such a fuss about spiders and things.
I hope they show it tonight.
The official site also gives out details of the BTT and how many stars Paul won !!!!

I hear this today on rock station of Berlin she is up the plane of Quantas today
paternoster04 25-11-2004, 04:39 PM I personally think Nancy is looking like the first one for the chop. She is a bit fake, especially since Vic Reeves arrived and I think him coming in is getting up a lot of peoples noses. It was a stunt, but its backfired....and I think people will vote her off just to see what Vic does next..
At this point Joe is looking good to win, Fran is doing well as well, comes accross very likeable. Sheila started off slowly, but is starting to come accross well, she has a big heart and it shows even if she is a bit of a diva (she has sold over 30 million with the Three Degrees so she is entitled to be a little bit). Not feeling Sophie at all. Can't really uss out Natalie at this point, it now seems like the initial drama was oput on, though it seemed very real at the time. Anyway, that's my ten cents-what about you guys?

I hope they show it tonight. Well I cant stand either of the silly bints but I agree that Sophie Anderton plays to the cameras so much, she is practically gurning.
Natalie is as bad though, with the bush tucker trial histrionics .... :glare:
Minklemar 25-11-2004, 06:00 PM The official site also gives out details of the BTT and how many stars Paul won !!!!
Oh! that wasn't there when I was there earlier - you'd have thought they'd want to hold this back until after the show wouldn't you?
I've noticed on the live footage so fat they've been careful about editing out mention of how many starts have been won then the chosen one returns to camp
Critique 25-11-2004, 06:00 PM To be honest, I think it would take a lot more brains and guile to do such a convincing job of being scared and as Natalie looks like a scared rabbit most of the time I can't honestly believe that she put all that on. If she was that devious and bent on winning I think she would have put more of herself into the rest of the show and, as it is, I don't think any viewers would notice if she went.
I expected to think "silly moo" when she was doing that high wire thing but in fact I found it quite stressful watching so it must have been really scary being out there, whether you like heights or not.

I noticed that with the live footage too, which is good. But I went to read about the live trail and there was the info on how many he had won :ranting:
Have you seen the performance Natalie is giving, back at camp after her BTT? Give that kid an oscar!
Everyone's feeling terrible for her and looking after her and she's milking it for all it's worth.
And they can't hear me shouting at my telly!!
Yes Dab - she is milking it for all it's worth!
Get her out!!!
She has to be the most pathetic contestant ever.
Minxy 26-11-2004, 07:38 AM They should have dropped her in by mistake, sort of dangled her over the pit and then....oops!!!

But of course Natalie is not 'me, me, me' at all, is she? Not much!!
Pandora 26-11-2004, 09:22 AM Possible spoiler .............
Has Brian Harvey left the camp? On ITV2 just now they were talking about him "sleeping in a comfortable bed tonight"..... then the sound went off.

Hello,
My other half rang me at work to say Brian has walked, he didn't know why or exactly when - but for someone who isn't interested in the show, him indoors is keeping a close eye on things!!!!!
Watching it live now and they have just had a fashion show (missed that), but they are drinking and having a right larf.
Pauls northern accent has been released by the wine.
They all seem happy and chilled.

Orcanan 27-11-2004, 10:10 PM Nat again!!!

Sick of that simpering!

Critique 29-11-2004, 02:30 AM Hmmm! that's strange. Went to bed just after 1 am and got up again at 2.30 am cos I couldn't sleep. Been watching live celeb and there is no sign of Natalie. Janet dished out all the portions of food for lunch and there was no mention of putting any away for her. Sophie and Nancy are in the pool now washing themselves. Sheila was in her usual place, brushing and rebrushing her hair. Janet wandering around camp but still no sign of Natalie. Heard Sheila mention about someone going for medical treatment but if it was Natalie I'm sure they would have put some food away for her. Very odd! I wonder if the last trial was just one too many for her. Will have to stay up now and see if she re-appears.
I have just heard that she has quit !!!
I have also just heard (on my radio station) that she never started the trial so they have let the camp nominate someone else to do the trial.... they didn't say who tho...
Voice of reason 29-11-2004, 07:18 AM Thank God for that! I didn't bother to watch last night because I couldn't stand to see Nat naff up another trial. Means I can tune in tonight then :)
christine 29-11-2004, 12:48 PM As Sheila was with Nat as one who 'might' be for the task, in all fairness I guess it should be her who takes Nat's place in the challenge.
Critique 29-11-2004, 12:52 PM Paul was discussing how difficult it is to say who you think should be voted off and Sheila pipes up "Well we don't know how or why the public vote as they do - I mean, I came 2nd to Natalie twice, now can that be, but I am honoured". :excl: She just don't get that they are being voted to do trials not for popularity.
Critique 29-11-2004, 12:54 PM As Sheila was with Nat as one who 'might' be for the task, in all fairness I guess it should be her who takes Nat's place in the challenge.
Not sure but I believe she did :) Something was said about it on This Morning prog but I didn't catch all of it.
Check out one of the spoiler threads it says who did it and how many stars they won!

Cheers, will do!
Is this going to be the first IAC where the public have no say in who gets thrown off!! If they keep on walking like this - who knows :)
I'm far from convinced we have any real say on any of them. :cool2:
Critique 29-11-2004, 01:49 PM I'm far from convinced we have any real say on any of them. :cool2:
I'm with you on that one Dab
Haydon 29-11-2004, 10:09 PM A source has just told me that Joe is doing the next BTT - something to do with a helicopter.
ooh good. How are they picked for the BTT's now then.
The Censor 29-11-2004, 10:21 PM Camp members choose now Cat
I think they're volunteering. I just heard Huggy say something about doing it tomorrow.
ooh just caught a bit on live. (TPT), think Joe is off to do it now.
Quality Joe time, goody.
Critique 30-11-2004, 05:59 PM If Huggy is doing it tonight then I wonder if he will remember to come back. :) How old is he? He seems to be suffering from some kind of short term memory loss. They were playing a game on the ITV2 coverage - a name game. Vic said to name 3 people with a name that has something to do with wind. After a while Huggy pipes up with Gail Storm, an actress. "Yes" says Vic "never heard of her but I'll accept that". The others guess 2 more. Then they go on to People who's names have something to do with a geographical feature. They say Harry Hill, etc. Then, ages after, huggy says "there's an actress called Gail Storm". Poor Vic seemed exasperated and explained that yes, they had got that one and had moved onto GEOGRAPHICAL FEATURES!
This isn't the only example. He couldn't get the hang of the other name game where the first name of say, a singer, had to begin the with first letter of the last name of the previous one - he kept saying the wrong letter. I think they were all getting fed up with repeating the rules to him.
They treat him like a slightly dotty old grandad. Half the time they seem to ignore him and talk across him like he isn't there, even when he speaks (on those rare occasions). So how old is he exactly? I thought I saw it on here somewhere but I can't believe what I thought I saw - lol. Someone tell me please?
So far he is brassed off with Janet cos he wants to do some cooking and she won't let anyone get their hands on that unless it is to do some tasks like chopping or frying. What she says goes as far as the food arrangements go. She decides what to cook and what to keep for the next day and they all go along with it. If anyone dares to disagree she gets in a huff and they are so scared that she won't do it that they just back down. She revels in all the "thankyou Janets" that she gets but does a false modesty bit by saying things like "I only cooked it, so and so won it for us" - but talk about a captive audience eh? they were so starving they wouldn't notice if she served up tree bark.
I'm not really knocking her organisational skills though - she has taken charge of the food and does seem to have her head screwed on with reserving stuff for the next day etc. It would be interesting to see how they got on without her, although now there aren't so many of them and they are getting more food it wouldn't be as dire as when they had so little.
So far Huggy seems to be dead weight but I will see how he does in the BTT if he is doing it before I rule him out completely.
Critique 01-12-2004, 01:20 PM Spoiler
Looks like Huggy did well in his trial. Everyone was giving him "High Fives" and he looked well pleased with himself.
He was telling Sheila that he thought he would be next out but Sheila says his trial might sway more votes towards him.
Huggy thinks Joe has it sewn up but Sheila says the GBP (by what she can tell from watching British Television!) like to turn things around and might go for Paul.
I wish she would stop clearing her throat every couple of minutes - it's annoying me so must be getting on the celebs' nerves.
The Censor 01-12-2004, 01:26 PM You were watching same time as me then - yep, and this morning they were well tucking in there on their evening meal!
I had to chuckle when he said they were 2 days ahead of UK time - poor old soul - they are 10 hours ahead of us!
I had to chuckle when he said they were 2 days ahead of UK time - poor old soul - they are 10 hours ahead of us!
Well that is what I thought, but Ant & Dec said it Tuesday morning on the show last night, which would mean they are 10 hours behind us wouldnt it? - or am I getting confused again
The Censor 01-12-2004, 01:30 PM No, they are 10 hours ahead, I know as I lived out that way, and am off to NZ in 10 days time!
Thanks Censor - I did think they were ahead of us..... it's old age setting in :(
-xena- 03-12-2004, 12:52 AM apparently sophie and janet were great in their trial...they seemed pretty happy when they came back...it didn't look like a bug-related trial...
Critique 03-12-2004, 11:24 AM Yeah I saw that and they were talking about jumping in and out of the "pens" - interested to know what they actually did :)
elibby 27-12-2004, 01:27 AM Hi there!
I live in Murwillumbah and although this program is being filmed "just out the road", it is not shown on Australian telly!
I would love to have a look at some live streaming but I have no idea how to find where I can do that.
Can anybody help me with some directions?? I have (briefly) visited the official site but can't see anything that says "live streaming".
Many thanks - and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
:bye:
P.S. Out of curiosity I just check the time difference and now that we are having daylight saving time, here in Murwillumbah it is 11 hours ahead of London. Daylight Saving will finish some time in March.
Hi elliby :bye:
Welcome to SO :)
I'm sorry to say but I don't think there was any live streaming for the show.
