Cat Deely is far prettier and far more natural.

I don't like her isle. She is wooden and shouts rather than talks. She has no idea what to say if it's not scripted and her dress sense is appalling! I'm not sure what charm she's got ... but it passes me by!

I really like Kate and think she is good for the programme. I have nothing against Cat Deeley but I don't think she'd have the guts to flirt and put down Simon like Kate does - though Cat has given Patrick Mackielty one which must have been nice.

Kate must keep an eye on her weight tho, her lovely little heavy browed eyes could disappear totally into her face with a few extra pounds.

I have to say I really enjoyed the chemistry between Kate and Simon last year, she is every bit a match for him!

funny I dont' see that at all. i see her having a pop at Simon cos it's something the audience expect. I also think she sucks up to Sharon big time. Sharon is (I think) an awful woman with her silly baby voice, her silly little dog, her anti social children and yet she walks about like her sh!t don't smell, and little wonder when the likes of Kate fawn all over her like she is some kind of a superwoman who has it all and is a role model!! yikes ... Sharon a role model! gulp!

I think Sharon Osborne is great. She's as mad as a box of frogs, but she doesn't give a damn.

Kate is good too - I think she comes across as very down to earth.

I dinnae like this lassie at all. She is fake, insincere and sometimes a cheeky b!tch. And she looks....weird.

I like Kate - when she dissolves into giggles I cannot help but join in with her, I think she is natural, far more so than Cat Deeley, who is just hopeless in front of a camera [without Ant and Dec to back her up].

I love her spars with Simon as well - they have a love/hate relationship which works really well on camera!

Ben's a funny thing isn't he - he's got the looks, a nice body (bit too honed for me though, like a big of loose flesh just as long as there's not folds of it), dress's nice but has absolutely zilch sex appeal, why is that?

Apparently Fiona as kicked him off the sofa as people are phoning in saying that he looks like her son, he is a very young looking 30.

Having said all that I quite enjoy watching him.

I don't think her image or personality is right for the job. She reminds me of a childrens TV presenter so maybe they should get someone with a more mature personality to host the show. Kelly Brook would look better but shes a boring presenter.

I love Liza Tarbuck, but I don't think she's suit this job. I quite like Kate Thornton; she's quite sassy. I agree that she doesn't suit posh frocks, though.

I'm a great Liza Tarbuck fan. First saw her on The Big Breakfast with her made Johny Vaughn - loved it when she did Sky the male hippy.

I agree Cat, Liza Tarbuck is a very lovely funny lady, I first saw her in the sitcom Watching and thought she was brill. But like you, I don't think she would be right for the X Factor.
