Voicey my friend....what running shoes do you have? I ask as when I started running again about 5 years ago I had a pair of cheepy adidas trainers. As I progressed I thought it would be best if I splashed out on a sooper dooper expensive pair, properly fitted in a 'proper running' shop. They killed me. So I spent a fortune on another pair.....these too killed me - felt like the balls of my feet were on fire.

In desperation I returned to my cheapy adidas - and these are the ones still run in today - no problems.

And wear a good support on your knee when running.

Isn't running fab.

tonight I'm on camomile tea and night nurse .... I like living on the edge!

i happen to have a stock of camomile, peppermint, nettle, lemon and ginger, green tea (all my favs) so not a problem. Night nurse is that in real terms or medicinal (I can always phone a nursing agency).

I've been there too. I enjoyed it, though I don't particularly agree that it's romantic, I found it to be very full of dog turd...everyone there has a ruddy dog and it was like dodging landmines. :sick:

ILS I would recommend a walking tour, as there are bits you just won't find on your own. Mr C and I don't normally go in for that sort of thing but we found it really fascinating.

sorry to be disloyal here but come to dublin. my canadian friends nearly died (im not joking) in fright to the sight of the streets. i think the city has cleaned up since they were here but it was funny (having been in canada myself) to see cleanliness versus forgetfulness on the streets!
