Anyone else picked up their results today? I did and this is what I got:
Religious Studies: A*
English Language: A
English Literature: B
Science: BB
French: B
Geography: B
Expressive Arts: B
Maths: C
I am still waiting for my GNVQ IT results as they come in a bit later. I'm pretty pleased with that really! Specially my A* in RE because we had a fire drill in the middle of the exam! My Maths C dont look too great in that list though lol better than my mocks though when I slipped below a C and got an Ungraded! haha Could have been ALOT worse definitely! Anyone else wanna post what they got?

Sixth Form is next! I've chosen to take English Literature, Psychology, Performing Arts and French as my four AS Levels, we get a choice to drop one next year when they continue onto A Level which is a bit harder. Who knows what I want to be eventually though, I'm kind of set on being a teacher but I'm really undecided whether I want to be a primary school teacher, or to be a specialised performing arts teacher in a secondary school. I dunno if id cope with all the obnoxious teens who dont wanna be there at secondary school lol!

Well done mate! A very nice bunch of results if ever I did see, apparently there is an over spill of primary teachers at the moment so employment might be safer if you aim for older children.

Our school's GCSE results were up 3% on last year, which is still crap compared to the national average, but really really good for us :smartie: .
One of our boys got 8 A*s and 5 As - we just dont speak about the 5 muppets who didnt manage a single one between them :blush:

lol yeah expressive arts is just Drama, Music and Dance combined into one course instead of having to choose them seperately!

I don't know how big your school is Floopy or what percentage of pupils didn't get any results. But I'm surprised it was only 5, I'm sure at my school there would have been a lot of kids who left with nothing? Or am I not up to date and does almost everyone leave school with some kind of grade these days?
