I just love this program ...
Gordon Ramsey just makes me laugh with his one liner put downs.
I'd heard they didn't know to take Gordon at first in the States - now I know why, they didn't understand him.

He called one chef a 'plank'. What's a plank?

3 blonde customers went to complain they hadn't received their food - Gordon said 'Ignore the blonde bimbos'
They went away irritated about the 'ignore' bit.
It was only when they went back again and Gordon asked Jean Philippe to 'Escort the ladies back to plastic surgery' that they really got upset!

Loved last nights opener....gosh yes Ghost the three bottle blondes what a scream...say it like it is Gordon...class! :laugh: The looks on their faces when he swore at them....total shock!

Loved the way he made the best team member pick two people to potentially go but I was surprised with one of her choices...I knew she would pick Carolann but how two faced was she to pick Dewberry the blueberry! :w00t: Glad Gordon let him stay as I want to see the tension between him and Elise after she had told him he would be staying and all that...ooooooo! :devil: Jimmy is fun to watch...what a clutts.... :laugh: and oh that Executive Chef needs a good slap!

I was getting annoyed with the fact that everyone constantly referred to Gordon as 'Chef Ramsey' though....it's just CHEF for petes sake! :angry:

Oh and that bald soux chef....I recon he's ex Marine core or something the way he was ordering the trainess about....the chinese chef seemed to try a little to hard to be tough though...Good to see Jean Phillipe back!

Torn this week......have been invited to a body shop party at the next door neighbours house...I don't want to go since I am skint and never want to buy anything anyway...however I would like to go alog to get to know her and a couple of the other neighbours a bit better....trouble is I can't tape of digital yet and well the party starts at 8pm and Gordon is on at 9pm.... :sad: I am in several minds as to what to do!

Hell's Kitchen was repeated last night Coastie at 11pm on ITV.
I caught it by chance and thought I was missing an episode for a minute.

I just LUUUUUUUUUUURVE Gordon :wub: :wub: and would watch just for the perv :naughty: even if there was no entertainment value!!!!!

I love the way Gordon is telling the customers to F off and they just don't get it, "he just told me to F off".

Dewberry....laughed so hard when Gordon called him Blueberry at the introduction...glad he's gone though (soz Cat but he annoyed the begeebers out of me).....

I hope the blue kitchen wins as I like the lanky dark haired guy and the little greek looking bloke who are chefs by trade...they are great! :thumbsup:

By the by how is John Phillipe - didn't he fall off a balcony in the summer and was seriously injured, havn't heard anything more about this.

I'm going off this program now, missed Mondays but saw repeat on Thursday.
They are concentrating to much on the chefs and we are not getting enough of Gordon's rip-ar-tee :sad: (or insults if you prefer).
We don't even get to see the customers any more.
Maybe it's because the Yanks didn't understand what Gordon was saying - but I don't think it is a patch on the UK version.

In America it would appear that the contestants are the stars...hence they get their names and photos displayed clearly in the titles unlike here...so Gordon is being watered down to let them shine....Also I think they may receive more complaints regards his vocabulary over there than here from viewers and guests who are not used to such insults...after all it's L.A. Dahhhhrling...all lovey and sweetie nice to each other....well at least in public! :angel_not :wink2:
