Went to the pics to see this tonight and really liked it.
It tells the story of Lisa Reisert, a hotel customer service specialist who is traveling from Dallas to Miami after her grandmother’s funeral. During the long delays at the airport, she meets Jack, a nice man who seems to have an uncanny knowledge of her. They end up seated next to each other on the red eye flight, but it isn’t a coincidence and Lisa soon finds herself in all sorts of trouble.
Considering it was directed by Wes Craven, I was expecting a run-of-the-mill teen slasher pic. But it is nothing like that. It is a well thought out psychological and political thriller. (However, the finale does have a 'Scream'-esque element to it, which spoiled it slightly...)
Anyway, it stars that creepy guy who played the scarecrow in Batman Begins and some girl whom I've never seen before and the acting from both of them was great.

I give this movie 7/10

I don't want to discuss that film. Are you going to go and see Pride & Prejudice? It interests me to know if many men will.

I very much want to see it and I shall probably eat chocolate raisins and drink Pepsi Max.

The get out of my thread!

In answer to your question, 'Pride & Predjudice' doesn't appeal to me at all but I suspect Miss PJ will want to go and see it...

Am I the only person...........or should I say female that has never watched Pride & Prejudice (the programme with Colin Firth), so has never got the whole Mr Darcy thing? That said I quite fancy the film, so can see a girly night in the offing! :)

I did the book for O Level, Bella and have seen every version ever made. I absolutely love it. Colin Firth didn't do much for me at all, except for the wading through the pond bit...... I found that mildly eye-catching.

My favourite version was the film with Laurence Olivier as D'Arcy. He was so handsome. Made a cracking Heathcliffe too.

Sorry Peej, about the film. This is a MUST SEE for me. It really does look like a Bonnie kinda film. But, im too tight to go to the cinema (plus i cant sit still for that length of time) so i will wait until its on Sky. Shouldnt have to wait toooooooo long i doubt.

Thanks for the write up

I'm going to help you out PJ!

I went to see this film over the weekend. I enjoyed it, it kept me very tense throughout. I really liked the tactical play between the two characters, and the aeroplane scenes made for a very intense hour.

However, then the plane landed and i just thought it got INCREDIBLY silly, and just like another horror movie. And I didn't like the ending. It irritates me when films end in this way

*SPOILER*

When everything ends happily and all the problems are solved

Overall though, it was good, and well worth seeing!
