I was listening to the radio today and the DJ gave this sort of riddle

A man went into a bar and asked the barman for a glass of water, the barman pulled out a gun and the man said thanks very much and left the bar.....................Why?

I didn't find out what the answer was but it wasn't a water pistol and it wasn't a drinks gun.........anyone help?!

Now if you had said Glasgow, I would have agreed with you........that said there are some very dodgy boozers in Edinburgh where I would not be surprised if the barman had a full stock of weapons! :shocking:

One from yesterday's radio:

A policeman is sitting at the traffic lights as they are red, a sports car with two teenagers goes past at 50 mph but he doesn't stop them or go after them............WHY

Andrea

Cause he's sitting at the traffic lights and not in a car??? Not sure about that one.

They're going across in front of him? i.e. their lights were green?
