I do! i think the little skits they do between the adverts in Lost is inspired they always make me smile!

I know they do it for other dramas but I particuarly notice them in Lost, maybe Lost has more adverts cos of it's popularity.

So do you love 'em or do they annoy you?

Not only do they annoy the hell out of me but I have to put up with Mr C moaning about them every time they come on. We had a few cross words about it tonight when he gave yet another deep sigh and said "bluddy stupid advert" whereupon I said that they were all stupid and nobody liked them but we just had to put up with them. The air was a bit frosty cos then I went on to remark how stupid every advert that came on was til he got fed up

Sorry but I find them really annoying almost as much as the little fat bloke in the Halifax advert! I am so glad that I tape Lost now and I can just fast forward when it comes to the break!

What irritates me even more about these adverts is that they just appear - bang! in your face! One minute you're looking at Charlie, in the dark, looking lost and bewildered (as he does most of the time) then bang! those twerps!

It's doing my head in. Other progs don't go straight into the adverts like that - they have an "end of part one" thingy first so you can be in the kitchen or toilet before they even start if you move quick  .

Mine too I'm afraid Dol.

And I thought nothing could be more irritating than the two guys in running gear...

Nope chuck - you have a very willing second in command to march intime here - I adore them - always have.

I think I may have had a crush on one of them not so very long ago - although I can't really remember which as they are so alike.

lol, I'm not sure about *admire* but I am definitely a fan... they do bring a smile to my face. I'm really not sure why..

hehe, I'm actually having a little chuckle just thinking of their skits in my head. ah dear..

I have to say though the adverts do skid in at strange moments. It's annoying too because you can often tell where the adverts are *meant* to be (i.e. when aired on abc america) you know when it fades out and fades back in on almost the same scene. Why don't Channel 4 follow the same advert slots?

Hi Tifa! :bye:

I was wondering that too, it would make sense wouldnt it. Maybe they are though, maybe the americans are getting breaks when we do AND there own breaks. I would imagine it's prime time advertising slot.

It makes me do a double take when it suddenly goes to black (cue commercial break ... or not!) and then back to practically exactly the same scene.
