On the radio last night the presenter was talking about the number of people who have killed someone in soaps....

These are the ones the mentioned and the ones that I can think of past and present:

EE
Pat: Killed someone drink driving
Johnny Allen: Threw Andy Hunter off the bridge
Chrissie: Killed Den
Little Mo: Killed Trevor
Lisa: Shot Phil
Grant: Didn't he kill someone?
Matthew/Steve Owen: Hit Saskia with an ashtray

Emerdale:
Zoe: Killed her half brother (as well as waiting trial for the attempted murder of Scott

Andy: His adopted mother died in the fire he started and he also shot Jack when he meant to shoot Robert

The only 2 I can think of in Corrie (Jim McDonald and Richard Hillman) have been locked up.

Nick Cotton killed an ex landlord of the Queen Vic - Eddy Royle.
Dot Cotton killed Ethel (although Ethel asked her to).
Janine killed Barry.

Mini Dennis has killed the pop eyed gangster bloke whose name I forget.
Phil Mitchell and Frank Butcher killed a tramp when they set fire to the Car Lot for the insurance money.
Little Mo killed Trevor the wife beater.

The Aussie barmaid (forgot her name).......arrrggh, what the heck is it? Anyway she killed the Irish fella........oh God, I've forgotten his name as well!

I know its soap opera but good god !!!

Seems to be a dam good imitation of real life to me! Commit a crime here and it's sod the victim, let the criminal walk free.


We still have Janine's trial coming - this December I think? Frank comes back for it, but we won't see Janine.

Gotta say though that the storyline between Deirdre and the incredibly creepy "Jon" was one of the most rivetting and well written plots in ages. He was truly despicable wasnt he?
