Well judging by the trailers I'm thinking that:

Simon gets the bands (he seemed gutted and they are pants this year)

Louis gets the youngsters (as they are the most talented and he needs all the help he can get to win....and Sharon had them last year)

Sharon gets the oldies (just because she had the youngsters last year).

Yup, my thinking exactly.

But I'm very disappointed with this thread, which (by its title) promises so much more.

Ah, Blink. You fell into the "not checking the forum" trap, didn't you?

I figured since the title is so open for abuse it would leap to lower depths soon enough Blinkus!

It's sad but true......I want want want want but since I am such a needy me me I rarely get as most people put me in the cupboard under the stairs and ignore me until I stop throwing my teddies out of the pram and then they let me out.....I am also a gobby oppinionated moo bag with a liking for scratching peoples eyes out and spitting in their food just before I dig their heart out with a 30cm rule!

Who got what by the way...judges and categories I mean?

Fee For All
24-09-2005, 08:14 PM
Louis - under 24
Sharon - overs
Simon -Groups

Coastie
24-09-2005, 08:21 PM
Phew....I can live and breath another day...thanks Fee....

So they did it....gave Louis the strongest category cos he's the least popular judge and Simon the worst as he's the most poular and Sharon the ones inbetween...so I guess it should balance out!

I dunno if I'll be the same as last year, but I couldn't help going for the judge (Simon) rather than the artist. I just can't bear the thought of Louis winning, the smug git.

I am sooo with you Max...which is why I guessed Louis would get the most talented category as he really does need all the help he can get!

So....at the end of the day, if you're being totally honest, do you find yourself rooting and voting more for the judge than the talent?

Personally the thought of Louis winning makes my stomach churn but at the same time I would prefer talent to win out over who has the best judge.....

If you remember last year Coastie, each judge definitely carried some votes. As soon as one judge was down to one act and the others still had two, it was pretty predictable that each judge with two remaining acts had their votes "split" between their two remaining acts, so it all seemed proceedural getting to the last three where each judge had one act (and I think they all got to two acts each that way too).

I guess it will be the same this time, but hopefully it doesn't change who the eventual winner is (I suspect it doesn't).

Well so far I have to say that the older singers are my fave category at the mo....love the binman! Although I do like Shaun in the younger category......unfortunately the groups really don't do alot for me thus far so I hope that Simon can pull a rabbit out of a hat and perform some kind of magic with them.... :bored:
