View Full Version : Who do you want to go first? Missessex 23-11-2004, 11:03 AM It has to be sheila, i can't be listening to her singing for another week! :bye: Bye Sheila!! Haydon 23-11-2004, 11:44 AM Hi Missessex and welcome to SO! Hope you don't mind but I have added a poll to your new thread. I think I would agree with and get rid of Sheila first. :) Missessex 23-11-2004, 12:14 PM of course i don't mind!! I tried to add a poll but it didn't happen?? Scooby 23-11-2004, 12:27 PM I went for the sensible option and voted Antonio. Why, you ask? Well, I have watched one episode so far, and have yet to grasp the characters fully, but Antonio is one step behind in that I still have no idea who he is. This means he should go, because he's obviously not very interesting. Oh well. cheerio! Bonsai 23-11-2004, 12:35 PM I think Antonio too. All the others have potential to either be great contestants, or to have fantastic cat-fights. Alternatively we can just slag them off !!! Antonio doesnt do anything for me, and i find him a bit boring. ils 23-11-2004, 02:06 PM Natalie for me, as she always looks so miserable. dab 23-11-2004, 02:16 PM It's Sheila at the moment, for me, because if I were in there she would be my personal nightmare. isleofweather 23-11-2004, 02:32 PM has to be natalie. she is a total drama queen and milk-sop. who would want her as a pal? can you imagine her coming round for Xmas dinner "no Turkey and all the trimmings for me I brought a bottle of Evian and a Rivita" :glare: A disgrace to Canada Cat 23-11-2004, 03:33 PM A disgrace to Canada BLIMEY....thats a big disgrace. But totally agree, glum, self absorbed and needs a good meal. jonnyboy 23-11-2004, 03:51 PM I've gone for Nat I feel that everyone else has something to offer over the weeks, whether it be causeing arguments or friction (sophie/janet/paul/huggy) or look like that are going to have a good laugh (fran/nancy/shiela/joe) Nat is going to be the child of the group, needing constant reasurment about everything and looking after, this will supress the others and cause people to treat her differently, and behave differently. If she was gone I believe that people would grow in personality a lot more and have much more fun, as they wouldnt have to worry about her. I would like Burrelll to go soon, but Im interested to see if he can hold his own. Janet is a mardy woman that is for sure, but she is going to whip up a storm soon. Sophie is getting very houghty and snappy with people and will get slapped down Shiela is getting bossy and this will tread on peoples toes Huggy just is taking it very seriously and wants to be in charge, this will get on peoples neves. Joe is just the light entertainment, and will keep spirits high Fran seems up for a laugh and will again keep spirits high Nancy is a right good sport and I think she will hold her ground against the approaching storms Brian is in a strange head space at the moment and it will be interesting to see how he manages sorry to ramble - in conclusion, Nat out! Minklemar 23-11-2004, 04:08 PM I'd like either Natalie or Sophie to go - I voted Natalie, but wish I'd voted for Sophie now! Bella 23-11-2004, 04:31 PM Oh no keep Nat in, if purely only for entertainment value!! I think I would like Sophie or Antonio to go, neither of them are really ringing my bells at the moment. And Sophie appears to behave rather like a spoilt brat at times. nopen 23-11-2004, 07:20 PM sophie, now known as sympathy - please take her away, nice for the boys to look at but no substance giles 24-11-2004, 09:07 AM i want paul burrell out. i think he is a totally nobody who doesn't deserve to be in the jungle... Also he is a giant wimp, hopefully he'll get the worse trial ever!!! Critique 24-11-2004, 09:29 AM It's got to be Sheila out for me - I know she will probably cause friction in the Group and maybe liven it up but she is soooooo smug! She knows it all, thinks she has the answer to everything, gives orders, advice. She's really getting on my nerves. She just looks so darn comfortable all the time. It's like she is saying "I'm fine - you lot just get yourselves sorted out". I really want to see her get "phased" by something. If she doesn't go I want to see her doing a really nasty Bushtucker Trial  xxlouisaxx 24-11-2004, 10:21 AM I want Paul to go first. He's such a baby. I think Natalie should be kept in and made to do some really horrible Bushtucker trials. She's really getting on my nerves with her whining... My entire family is rooting for Joe to win. He's such a lovely guy. He is a friend of my dad's side of the family. I didnt know this until i met him one time after a show about 6 years ago and he recognised my dad and started asking about my uncle john... it was one of the most bizarre experiences of my life!! If Joe doesnt win, then I want Janet to win cos my entire opinon of her has changed since IAC started! HELENNICOL1 24-11-2004, 11:19 AM Natalie to go first - what a moaner!!!! Well done to Janer with those snakes. (The ones in the cage - of course!!!!) culabula 24-11-2004, 11:33 AM I'd like either Natalie or Sophie to go - I voted Natalie, but wish I'd voted for Sophie now! totally agree, but i voted for Sophie then wished i'd voted for Nat lol! but i'll stick with Sophie. But i reckon Sheila will be out first really... and that doesn't bother me in the slightest! 5411 24-11-2004, 02:27 PM Paul to go first I cannot stand him, so what he was the Butler for theRoyals there is something creepy about him if I was in the jungle I would have to ask him why did you sell those secrets etc.. I am not really a Roayl fan but I hate people making money out of someones trust :boxing: PJ 24-11-2004, 02:30 PM Antonio - he's bringing absolutely nothing to the show whatsoever. Voice of reason 24-11-2004, 02:31 PM I voted for Sophie, I am finding her irksome :glare: dab 24-11-2004, 03:15 PM I voted for Sheila in this poll, but that was before I found out about Nancy bringing the whole family... :ranting: curlytots 24-11-2004, 03:19 PM I voted for Paul I believe what 5411 says it's horrible to think that he is making money by selling stories of princess Di-if he was that much of a loyal butler he wouldn't feel he had to do that-she was a great person anyway. Paul NEEDS to go!!!! Missessex 24-11-2004, 05:24 PM I may have changed my mind now!! It has to V** R*****!! Too annoying for me, i watched him on that Gordon Ramsey celeb resturant thing!! He was asking for a fried egg in the resturant and generally being a ****!! Bob 24-11-2004, 05:45 PM Sophie appears to behave rather like a spoilt brat at times. Agree! I voted Sophie OUT :excl: Buzz 25-11-2004, 04:25 PM After careful thought and much consideration (when I should have been doing something much more constructive) I now FIRMLY believe that Nancy should go first and leave her husband Vic in the jungle on his own. That would take the wind out of their sails and teach Nancy a valuable lesson about lying and deceiving people!! Missessex 25-11-2004, 04:33 PM And boy didn't she lie easily!! She will probably try out acting now, she was so good!! And of course she didn't want to be known as "just Vic Reeves wife" so obviously he goes out there to join her???? :ranting: paternoster04 25-11-2004, 04:43 PM After careful thought and much consideration (when I should have been doing something much more constructive) I now FIRMLY believe that Nancy should go first and leave her husband Vic in the jungle on his own. That would take the wind out of their sails and teach Nancy a valuable lesson about lying and deceiving people!! Completely agree-I think Nancy should be voted out first to teach her and Vic (and the producers of the show) a lesson. Can't believe she lied to everyone like that and led Fran on with all the giggling knowing that Vic was coming out. Would be really intersting if she gets vote out to see if Vic would stay behind or would leave with her..... Voice of reason 25-11-2004, 04:43 PM And boy didn't she lie easily!! She will probably try out acting now, she was so good!! And of course she didn't want to be known as "just Vic Reeves wife" :ranting: Yes, so now she can be "Vic Reeves lying and sneaky wife" instead :wink2: maxine 25-11-2004, 04:56 PM Did she lie? Or was she just being evasive? I mean, what's the girl supposed to do? It wouldn't have been much of a surprise if she'd told everyone. Maybe it was in her contract not to say anything. I don't really know why such a big deal is being made about Nancy's 'lie'. I'm more annoyed at whoever thought up this wheeze in the first place. Voice of reason 25-11-2004, 04:59 PM Did she lie? I don't really know why such a big deal is being made about Nancy's 'lie'. I'm more annoyed at whoever thought up this wheeze in the first place. Yes she did lie Max, in fact she went out of her way to do so, actually asking people who they thought it would be, when Joe asked if it was Jim she said "No, because if it was I'd know, and I don't know" She said she enjoyed having people talking about it and guessing when she knew all along. maxine 25-11-2004, 05:02 PM Yes she did lie Max, in fact she went out of her way to do so, actually asking people who they thought it would be, when Joe asked if it was Jim she said "No, because if it was I'd know, and I don't know" She said she enjoyed having people talking about it and guessing when she knew all along. Yeh, I did see that bit now you come to mention it Voice, but I still can't see that it's so wrong. She was just having a bit of fun. Voice of reason 25-11-2004, 05:06 PM Well for me it's injured pride! See I thought she was a nice, straight up woman and I find I was wrong...and I do so hate being wrong :wink2: ellie2912 25-11-2004, 05:56 PM i would love to see that smug smile of Nancy's wiped off her face. That would be her commupance for being sneaky over vic's arrival and the showing off that has followed! Flip 25-11-2004, 06:05 PM I want another go - I can't remember who I voted for - and it says I have voted. Dear Jim, [that is Saville for those old enough to remember] Please fix it for me to vote again. Love Flip who has no memory xx sheoque 25-11-2004, 06:25 PM Ant and Dec without any hesitation. Cat 25-11-2004, 06:30 PM Yes flip. I want to vote again for Nancy. I voted for .....for....... it was either Natalie or Sophie, can't remember either. But I do know that I want to vote for the lying toad. Oh yes...I know that for sure. ils 25-11-2004, 07:19 PM I want to change my vote too! Nancy out first :boxing: Billy Whizz 25-11-2004, 09:49 PM Natalie. I doubt I will be able to stop myself throwing things at my TV if she stays in. ils 25-11-2004, 09:54 PM I want to change my vote again  Natalie out NOW!!!!! Repetition 26-11-2004, 05:42 AM If you forget you can tell who you voted for cuz your choice will be in italics. Unfortunately, I think it a near certainty that Nat will be in there for the long haul. British perverse humour (or downright cruelty) will ensure a good percentage of people will continue to vote for Nat so they can watch more crying, bitching and self-humiliation. After all, it's supposed to be entertainment and "nice", well-balanced people eating, staring at the fire and lying on their hammocks is boring. I think the next best thing would be if that same warped humour results in Nat having to do ALL the trials. That'd teach her more of a lesson than letting her return to her home comforts. Also, that she'd probably only muster 1 or 2 stars per trial would likely irritate her comparatively dull comrades into becoming more bitchy. The more "fights", the better. Before it began, I wouldn't have been sorry to see Sheila win - The Three Degrees' "The Runner" being an all-but-forgotten disco classic. However, she's revealed herself to be quite manipulative; perhaps the driving force behind Nat & Sophie's spat. Getting Nat to do her dirty work, while continuing to be nice to Sophie's face... reveals her as somewhat cowardly. She's a bit of a know-it-all too. Soooo.. out of a sense of justice and a bit of personal dissappointment, I voted for her to go. Lyndsay 26-11-2004, 06:51 AM Natalie, then Janet then Sheila. Don't like bitchy women. I like people with a sense of humour and fun, and those three don't have any of those qualities. dab 26-11-2004, 06:57 AM D'you know what? I think there's a strong possibility that Vic&Nance's stay in the camp will be much longer than any of us want it to be. I'm fairly certain that many viewers disapprove of this "late addition" manipulation nonsense, but how are we supposed to express our dissatisfaction? We only have three options:  put up and shut up; :cool2: stop watching; or :ranting: vote them off. Well, the first is bad for your health and the second unthinkable, so let's go for the third, yes? But hang on. They're very obviously playing the couple card, with the immediate donning of King and Queen hats, and all the billing and cooing and private conversations, and their occupation of the grown ups bedroom. But we can't vote for them as a couple, can we? The votes are still individual. So the disapproval vote could be massive - but it will be split between them, so individually they probably won't get enough votes to qualify for eviction, and they'll both stay in by default. Pandora 26-11-2004, 08:53 AM Theres a very fine line between the great british public wanting someone annoying to stay in camp and be "tortured" with BBT ( a la John Fashnau ), and simply being irritated to the point of booting in your telly ( a la Natalie Appleton). I think that most of us will vote Natalie out first. And no-one will be more surprised than Nat herself, who Im sure, deep down, thinks everyone will love her baby of the camp act .... Lyndsay 26-11-2004, 09:58 AM She thinks she's the bees knees alright. But of course, if she gets voted off, it will be because of the editing, NOT because of her atrocious 'personality'.  |
