It's pretty good of the judges to invite their final 7 to their houses isn't it?

I do feel sorry for the poor people on Louis' team though. Dublin is hardly in the same league as Spain or Beverly Hills is it??

[smug mode]Have I mentioned that I saw Sharon's house in Beverly Hills when I was in LA? Very nice it is too[/smug mode]

Yes I suppose it could be PJ, a bit like inviting someone to your thread, them accepting then just not turning up.

I bet Louis' house ain't full of dog-**** though. He strikes me as the type who would be very houseproud.

 I'm not sure its a good idea, seeing the homes of wealthy people might make the contestants all the more aware of their own backgrounds and homelife prior to the programme.

Southern Ireland is top of the list for being the most desirable of places to live. Especially Dublin and Cork. Also some excellent recording studios exist there having produced a large proportion of the worlds best artists. Whereas Hollywood Beverly Hills is a bit of an enlarged ideal or unreal homes exhibition.
In addition as Hollywood is the source of some dreams being brought to fruition the further you rise the greater you fall.

Hollywood is also furthest removed from the everyday reality of real musicians and artists. The ones who work in the industry who daily struggle to survive, yet somehow they do; and remain unknown and unheard. These are the many who remain unforeseen taken forgranted without whom the industry would not exist. All this serves to do is glorify and expose more of the egotistical cravings of a judges lifestyle and there need to stay popular.

I don't think so... They are probibally just their show houses, they don't actually live there. Like Sharons house in Beverly Hills is where the Osbornes was filmed. I think she lives in the UK.

But in the clip for next weeks show, it showed you the contestants singing in Sharon's garden in front of the likes of her husband, Ozzy.
