So come on...what are your current must sees of the week?

Mine are...in no particular order...cos I can't remember what nights they are on necessarily other than the fact none are on a Friday night cos that night is pants!

Actually the only programe that if I missed it I would keel over and die is:
*Without a Trace (twice a week...once on E4 once on Ch4 and repeats everyday I can at 3pm on E4)

Others I watch but don't worry about missing are:
*The Bill (but not as a priority anymore)
*Lost
*X-Factor
*The Closer (recently started on Ch4 and I think I'm hooked)
*Numbers (BBC3 - well I'll give it a go as the first programme was pretty good)
*Waking the Dead (although it not as good as the 1st and 3rd series)
*The Simpsons

I taped this cos Ricky Gervais was on.

Antonio Banderas was also on ... I just think that Melanie Griffiths must have done something so very very very good to deserve him ... he is devine!

I only watched these two people, the bloke singing didn't do it for me and I CAN'T stand Robert "Luvvie Luvvie" Lindsay!

(you are welcome to borrow the tape if you want)

This week I am mostly watching

1. The Match - yes they are a bunch of waistrels and looser celebs (Dane Bowers, The ginger guy from Corrie who is now unemployed and was recently prosecuted for football hooliganism, that scouse turnip from Brookside, someone from Dream Team). But it is still good and if you like footy you will like this. Paddy from Max and Paddy has been v. funny and Zoe Ball has held her own well.
2. Nighty Night - a series too far and too OTT I know, but still has occassion to thrill.
3. X-Factor - great heart warming and tear jerking family entertainment.
4. QI - the best and funniest quiz since the hey day of HIGNFY and much better than the latter has been since the departure of auto-cue coke boy.
5. The weather of Sky 507. every 27 and 57 when I can (about 10 times a day).

mmmm I am planning to do tons of hibernation from now on,
so my 'must see' tv will consist of

1) Corrie street and Emmerdale...

2)'Paiseann Faiseann' (an irish language dating show wherebye 3 boys buy an outfit for a girl they have never met,but they are given her 'vital statistics' ..and she picks an outfit, without knowing which boy bought it.Then they go on a date.Brill.

3)'Scrubs' and 'The Clinic' which is a drama set around a medical practice in Dublin..

4) Various music shows..chart shows etc.
And I will be flipping in and out of Buffy..Charmed...and other stuff like that as the mood takes me but I wont' panic too much if i miss them.
That should keep me busy.

Apparently theres some sort of 'Celebrity Comando' show coming up....heard it on the grape vine...it will involve the usual mix of Z list celebs undergoing full on Commando training....the fact that this should involve numerous yummy men in combats is enough to have my full attention already....

Anyone else heard anything?

Well I am no longer watching anything with religious intent other than...

Without a Trace

I do watch other stuff but only if I happen to be around...my video is feeling redundant all of a sudden and well this is why....

I am bored with Lost....became tired of Spooks....have no real interest in any of the celebrities on IACGMOOH and well I keep missing X-Factor so have to get updates from a friend of mine as to who's in and who's out :wallbash: and The Bill has become to daft for words.

The F Word usually clashes but I hope to be able to get into that a tad more now and I do like the Shakespear re-told series but it's only on for the four weeks so pooh pants....The mini series have taken over the longer running stuff and I am left twiddling my thumbs in between as the longer running series no longer turn me on! Even Parky has crap guests these days!

I've lost track of when The Closer is on and I do enjoy Num3ers when I catch it but it's on so late!

Well after Without a Trace finishes on Monday night I fear that my video recorder will become totally redundant.....there are no TV shows now that I feel I really must watch instead there is a run of poorly researched crime related drivel dramas, a bizzar number of mystery/supernatural stuff that doesn't interest me in the slightest and the old shows I have loved over the years have entered a state of far featch and uninspired story lines that leave me cold by the end and by no means eager to see the next episode.

I am sick to the teeth of seeing re-runs in prime time slots and a throw up of surreal comedy shows that make me cringe rather than laugh they are so stupid. Surely with all the truely great writers we have in this country they can come up with something better than the tosh they are putting out on the box these days and I see another antiques, DIY or house selling type show I'll scream before heading to TV headquarters itself and planting the biggest and most offensive smelling stink bomb I can find...after all they are pooping in my lounge every time they show the cack they do! :mad2:

And...breeeeeeaaaaath.....

Talking of "The Closer" whatever happened to it?
I'm sure I only saw about 4 episodes before it vanished from the schedules.

I like Location, Location, new series tonight
Ten Years Younger
and
the property development prog on C5 where the Irish Estate agent follows two couples who are given £250k to buy and do up properties and sell them on at a profit. The two woman are proper dummies!

Tigereye

Oh I LUrve location location. Am one of those saddos who like any programmes to do with property - Grand Designs, Property Ladder [or whatever sarah beeney's prog is called] Houses Under the Hammer etc.

ok, I'll get a life.....

other stuff I watch religiously, or semi agnostically, are:

Law and Order - all of them.
Cold Case
Without a Trace
CSI - all of them

In ireland, as was mentioned in another thread by Aondeag, we're a bit lucky that we get first bite of these progs from america, and with 4 irish stations you will always find a bit of gore, dead bodies, bloody murders, violent bad guys, investigations and fit blokes in uniform most anytime of the day or night.....excellent!:naughty:

And if I've just had a huge calorie riddled dinner and Jordan the dog wants me to get up off the comfy couch and walk him in the rain I also watch

You Are What You Eat. [guilt]
Celebrity Fit Farm [hope]
Me or the dog.... [sorrow - poor Eric's going to get wet ]

Ooooh TE, I love CSI, CSI:Miami, and CSI:NY, in that order!! I'm getting hooked on this new series with Mandy Patinkin (sp) and I think it's called 'Criminal Minds' ??? It's the profiling and mental side of CSI! I like 'Changing Rooms' so I can drool over LLB (and Handy Andy:naughty: ). I like 'Dallas Swat', a new show sorta like 'Cops', and 'Dog, the Bounty Hunter' is a very guilty pleasure.

Well...theres a few things started up which I hope will maintain my interest for a while:

Wanted (another American cop thing but looks quite good but if it's anything like Num3ers I shall probably lose track of when its on (as it's on a digital channel) and miss half of the episodes!)

House is back...horrah!

Surface (again if I can keep track of when it's on...but I am enjoying it)

Then it's simply the case of the odd one now and then!

I'm having trouble keeping up with everything at the moment, especially as Celeb BB is on every night.
I'm watching shows like ER, Cold Case, Bones, Invasion, Surface, Threshold, Sea of Souls, Medium, etc. Not to mention a couple of soaps!
There are also 2 new shows starting this week that look interesting - "Supernatural" (ITV Monday 23rd 11pm) is billed as a new fantasy drama series, and "Prison Break" (Channel Five Monday 23rd 10pm) seems to be a hit American drama series.
I have a huge pile of tapes to watch, must take a week off work..... :naughty:
