I have been offered and accepted a job at Social Services - Finanace Administrator in Fostering which is part of Children and Family Services - I only had the interview yesterday lunchtime!!!! When I walked in, I just got a good vibe about the people and the place - its a FAB location - right on the Esplanade, set in gorgous grounds, and over the road from the sea front!

Ohhhh my new line manager just called me to say she wont be there Monday and to offer her apologies, and gave me the names of the people who will be "looking after me" for her! They are all so lovely!

It was Katie's birthday on Saturday, and spookily she got up at the same time she was born 7 years ago - 5.44am!!!!! :shocking: We went to see Starlight Express, which was absolutely blooming fantastic! It was a wonderful show and it was nice that it was me & her. Mr B took Abbie to Princes Street Gardens and claims he got chatted up loads of times!!! :w00t: We had a lovely meal at a gorgeous wee Italian nearby and they made a huge fuss of Katie, which was really nice. And yesterday we went to the Chamber Street Museum to see the Dinosaurs Alive exhibition which was really, really good and very scary!

Now, I am just trying to get to grips with getting the house in order plus put the final touches to my website that will open on 1st May!

Actually i have met her. She is very very quiet, but could easily do the job and thats the most important thing. I did think the guys i work for would pick someone about my age (27 ... cough) but she is in her mid fifties.
