The only downside is that i now have to use a 3rd asthma pump twice daily. I tell you, the cocktail of pumps i take is unreal. This one is another preventative jobbie, and i take it before i go to work, and when i get home.

You bid on a handbag on ebay which has just sat there for days on a starting bid of £2.50 (mine). Then some sneaky bint waits til the last 5 mins and puts in a bid of £3.00, then £3.50, £4.00, £4.50, £5.00 and either ran out of time or gave up. Luckily I had put in a maximum proxy bid of £6.00 so I got it for £5.50 and she lost it for the sake of 50p.

Oh I love it cos I've had it done to me so many times. They sneak in, in the closing few minutes and try to "snipe" it.

My tip for ebay

Watch the item, then put your first bid in at 2 mins to go, then open the ebay item in another window whilst still on the make your bid page, and if a sneaky last min bid comes in just flick back to your bid page and bid 3 quid and 76p higher. Saves a lot of clicks and page loading times.

......I rarely lose :)

Thanks Andrea. I do feel better for a lot of sleep. I just loved the way my other half came in from work and found me curled up on the sofa (not a usual occurrence I might add). I waited for him to enquire what was wrong but nothing! I had to say that I didn't feel very well and my throat was sore and he gave me that look that says "feeling sorry for yourself". He then watched me go out and make us both a cup of tea. Not very good on the "caring" front I'm afraid.

I think some men go into panic mode when they think we might need a bit of looking after instead of the other way round!! He did go and heat up the remains of Sunday's casserole for himself, but not a word about whether I would like something.

Ah well, he has some good points sometimes.

DYJLIW I've got an interview for my return to nursing course:thumbsup: in a couple of weeks time.

Better start reading a few Nursing Times:w00t:

good stuff Andrea!

Funny you should mention Nursing Times I had an email from a friend mentioning that very publication today!! She said they are investigating Makosi for violating her employment permit with Wycombe Hospital by going on big brother and she may be facing deportation!! She also said they are looking into Abi Tittmuss'es creditials ... but I think that was rather tongue in cheek!!

Last week Mr tiggs and myself went shopping for a new mobile phone tariff for him. Whilst in the shop, a thought of a new mobile for me came to mind. I only use pay as you go as it would be wasteful for me to pay a monthly fee. Anyway, I picked out a phone, a Nokia 6610i, because it had a camera. Mr tiggs bought it for me and I was thrilled. Anyway, I got it home and I wasn't overkeen, it took rubbish pictures to start with, and the keypad was naff. Come to find out, the infrared was faulty, so today, we returned the phone. We were going to exchange it like for like, but another phone caught my eye. A Nokia 6230i. But it was more expensive, £140.00 more expensive to be exact. You know what? Mr tiggs bought it for me! I love it. What a wonderful man! :)

Ahha! I've got two
DYJLIW...............

I got one over on Brittany ferries! I spoke to an adviser the other day about cancelling my hol and what the penalty would be, it's normally just £10 if 42 days or more before travel, I'd just missed out, but becasue I bombarded them with letters and e mails they agreed to let me cancel for just £10 seeing as I was only 2 days short, as soon as I got my confirmation of the refund, I re-booked for £81 less. I'm feeling smug and the prices have just shot up again.

Also not once but twice yesterday I was told that I looked great having lost weight. I've only lost 8lbs, and I'm still over 12 stone but it looks like more. I'm pleased :)

Actually my sister and brother in law are camping about 40 mins drive from me - and they are going for a week. So they asked us if we wanted to go and stay a few nights with them. So we are going 'proper' camping, with no luxuries. I.e - no electric, no caravan, no toilet NOTHING.

So we are packing the tent, gas cooker, and the dog - and having a 'back to basic's 3 day weekend. Im having Thurs off as i have a lunch planned with friends, and then Friday - Sunday we are camping, and then i have Monday off at home / pub all by myself as Mr.B is working :w00t:

Mr. B buying me an eternity ring :w00t:

I forgot to mention it before, but last weekend we went to the shops, and he disappeared for a while saying he wanted to buy me a pressie. When we got back to our tent he presented me with a little box. When i opened it there was a perfect ring. He gave me the valuation to keep with my others, and basically its a gold ring with 5 'A Class' (whatever that means) diamonds in a band totalling 1 carat.

I feel sooooo loved up and its beautiful.

Everytime you go into the room Milo comes bounding up to the edge of the cage to say hello!

Sid is still a bit nervous (as he is a bit younger) and tends to run and hide but he'll get over it soon!

DYJLIW.....(bit of a long one here but bear with me)....

after a bit of a heated "discussion" the other day with hubby about the amount of time I spend on here, I decided to stay off the computer for a few days.
Came on again yesterday for a little bit, then wasn't going to come on here today.
Just finished watching a program on TV (I have control of the remote) go out for a ciggie, come back in and see hubby has turned it over to the history channel (Yawwwwwwn)
I say to him "I see you've turned it over"
He replies "Go on your computer"
There wasn't anything on TV I wanted to watch anyway, so I am now on here :w00t:
But I won't be spending as much time on here as I have been doing, because I feel I have been on here too long at times and the family have been missing out.
