there haven't been any new comments in here for ages. So i just wondered if people were still watching?

I rather enjoyed this week's episode when we saw Kate's bank robbery. It seemed much better scripted and acted than some of it lately.

Although I do wonder what Kate has to do to stop Jack from following her round like a lovesick teenager! Murder obviously isn't enough ...

I`m still watching and although a few episodes of late have been slow things are looking up a bit now and a few are actually ending on "cliff hangers".

I have been watching, but i tend to avoid this section as i get confused.

I only watch the wednesday night channel 4 one, and sometimes i found myself reading about stuff i hadnt seen - and then twigging that it was the E4 episode. So i tend to keep away more now.

Yeah I noticed that when it was on over here. I kinda didn't really watch it during those boring episodes. But when they got better I kept watching...

I'm still watching, although the initial impact the show made seems to have waned a bit.
I will stick with it, still a lot to find out about the characters and the island.
I hear the second series is going down well in America though.

I am still watching it and still enjoying it - I have just watched Jin's story this week but as some people won't have watched that, I won't say anything about it in this thread!

Loving the twists that are coming out though! And Sawyer is begining to grow on me but I still have the hots for Sayid!

It's the only programme that Mr B won't miss too, so I was in the bad books as I taped over last week's episode (Sawyer's story) as he is away during the week.

It was a good episode too, does anyone know if it will be repeated? I know it was on last night but we forgot all about it!

It's the only one i have missed (twice) as well.
My son Craig has seen it as he always watches the two episodes on sunday, but i would rather watch it myself before we discuss it.

I am not sure of the title, Secrets but it was Sawyer's story. Just checked on the Lost website.........oooh, so tempting to read ahead but I have managed to hold back..............and it is episode 16 - Outlaws.

No worries though, Secrets I have told him a little about what happens, if you do have the file, it would be great but don't go to any hassle. Thank you though.

I'm still watching too but having seen all the first series I am now watching the second. My son got all the first series off the internet so I watched them all back to back over a couple of days.

The second series I'm getting myself but as they are only just airing I have to wait a week or so for the next one when some kind soul shares it.

I've just seen Series 2 Episode 6 - the one where Sayid and Sawyer get eaten by the monster!

My cousin in the states sent me the whole of the first series on dvd...
but I'm not 'still watching' it..sulk...as you need one of those multi-denominal dvd players to watch it in this region.I have seen it on sale here but compared to the US price..it is mega expensive here.
sulk....
I would love to watch it again...and do tons of zooming in on sawyer and sayid and stuff.

I`m still watching and enjoying how in the flashbacks their lives cross over. It`s getting to the stage where each episode seems to finish leaving you wanting more and more. It`s something I really look forward to every week.

I went off it for a few weeks, just couldn't be bothered watching it.
Then I watched last nights episode on channel 4 and just had to watch E4 for the next episode.
Fantastic last night.
My brains in overload trying to work out what it all means.

I didn't know that - thanks chucky!!

However, this mysterious business, I wonder whether this is putting me off being gripped - I am so un-nosey and I am so unbothered why they did all these things in the past, and I suppose I am just sick of the mystery - JUST SPIT THE TRUTH OUT!!!

OK I will give it a little longer ... and I am now serioulsy in lust with Sawyer, didn't think I would but jeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssss!:w00t:

Oh Flippy - lol. How can anyone, these days, live without knowing how to tape something? You miss so many progs that clash with each other or are on too late.

With most video recorders all you have to do for "one touch recording" is bung in blank tape, make sure the video is set to the channel you want to tape and then press the red record button :) You don't have to stay up and press record at exactly the right moment. Just make sure that if the program is an hour long, say, and you want to go to bed before it starts, just put in a 3 or 4 hour tape so you are sure of getting the bit you want and then when you want to watch, fast forward through all the stuff that was on before :)

You don't have to mess about with the complicated stuff, like setting it to record automatically at a set time.

Now I've typed all that out, I'm wondering if you were joking

I wonder if that was the cause of his paralyis

His mother found Locke in a department store where he was working. He hadnt seen her for years and was shocked to see her. Whilst they were chatting over a coffee she told him about his father (he had never known him) and he decided to visit him.

Locke and his father got on famously - and the father welcomed his son with open arms. They went shooting together etc ... and after a few weeks he told Locke that he needed a kidney transplant (I think it was a kidney ... or liver ... or something  ). Locke immediately said he wanted to help, and he was a perfect match. They went ahead with the operation, but when Locke came around his father wasnt next to him in his bed ... but his mother was there. She told him that she had brought Locke to his father as he was desperate for the transplant, and she needed the money. So basically his father had used him for a kidney, and his mother had used him to get some money.

Cat, Locke was adopted and brought up in a childrens home never knew his parents. One day this stange woman was following him at work (he worked in a toy store) and giving him strange looks he eventually asked her what she was up to, turns out she as his mother, she says his father never wanted anything to do with him. Nevertheless Locke wants to find him and when he does is amazed to discover that his father is a very wealthy man and very nice too. Says he wanted to be a part of his life but his mother was a batty old cow and it didn't work out. Anyway the get really close and bond well and spend lots of time together. One day Locke shows up early and walks in on his dad having dialysis. He's been on the transplant list for years. he's upset that Locke has seen this, says he didn't want him to know.
Locke is understandably upset and a few weeks later he offers his father his kidney. He's a match and they both go into hospital together for the transplant.
After the op when Locke comes round, his fathers bed is empy. He asks the nurse where his father is, she says she didn't know it was his father and that he checked out earlier on. Locke is realy confused. Why would he check out?
Then his mother shows up, says she is really sorry but she needed the money.
Turns out she is a batty lady and I think an alcoholic, Locke's father tracked her down and persuaded her to find Locke so that they would inevitably meet up. He paid her. He knew the chances of Locke being a match were good.
He let Locke think it was all his idea.
Locke discharges himself from the hospital and drives to his fathers house but the security guard says he won't see him.
Basically it was all a sham- a set up just to get his kidney.
poor Locke

I missed half an hour (the first half) on wednesday of this and i was gutted. I think i got the ghist though. I felt kinda sorry for 'freckles' at the end .... but i dont know why people want to go on the raft. I mean, if the raft sinks or if you get eaten by sharks you die ... whereas you could live on the island.

If they do make it to the other side, they will quickly raise the alarm and help will come.

So why do some people - who have no big secrets to hide, and warrents for their arrest decide to go on a dodgy handmade raft ?

Coastie
30-12-2005, 07:16 PM
Because they may have family and friends who love them waiting on the other side Bon Bon...whereas the wanted folk out there are better off hanging out on an island where no one will find them....

Personally I'd be having a field day.....I would have built a hotel by now and be running a moonshine bar! :pimp:

I notice from the TV guide that there is a Lost Fest on tomorrow and Monday - will this show the final 2 episodes? It is a bit confusing as it shows that there is a showing of Lost then a showing of Lost on Lost but on Wednesday there is no showing on E4.............?

I missed last Wednesday's showing of Lost on E4 as we were at a wedding, so will be watching it this Wednesday.

I am feeling a bit sad now that it is nearing the end and only that Series 2 will be with us soon!
