Im still in shock from (a) the godawful peroxide job and (b) the fact that she squatted next to her bed and had a slash !!!!

If she carries on like that, the camp will smell like a midden !!!!

I have to confess a bit of sympathy for her. Who would want to go to the loo in the dark with all the "nasties" out there (shudder). I don't think I would want to go and squat very far from the safety of the camp either :bag:

I would say that someone told me it helps keep the mossies away and pretty soon they will all be at it. I confess I would have done the same although maybe not quite so close to my bed.

I think she may start to get on my nerves eventually, but I'm currently liking her a lot. Especially when she gets all pythonesque and talks of "wabble wousing". Larf!

Reminds me of McCririck from Big Brother only far too polite.

Im hoping she and Goolden stay to be honest. They seem to be the only two in there that isnt a blandie. You can hear them from miles away as both have voices that could crack glass.

I reckon this constant interference re the cooking may cause a ruckus eventually. Everyone is treading on eggshells at the moment, but Im sure once theyve starved a bit, are hungry and tired, tempers will fray (or fway) and either Carol or Jilly will be in the middle of the conflict.

When it became obvious we were going to see the edited highlights of Carol's midnight peeing session, I just thought, oh God do they really have to show that. It wouldn't have mattered if it was Carol or anyone else, I can't see why anyone would be interested in seeing it. Personally, I thought it was in bad taste, and what's her mother going to say to her when she gets home - poor woman!

Vile wasnt it?

Carol made me laugh when she did her BushTucker Trial tonight.... she was quite prepared to drive across the ravine without a bloody harness on at first, the barmy mare !!!

Then when the car eventually went over the edge, she just dangled in the air, said in that jolly-hockey-sticks voice, "oh cwikey, Im ever so sowwey about the car cwashing into the wavine...." not taking the slightest bit of notice that she was dangling 100ft over the ravine !

I think she is rather eccentric.

I said exactly that to Mr. C. She really was going to do it without a harness and said "Oh! harness - oh wight!" as if she was surprised she was going to get one :shocking: I think she's is going to have great entertainment value as long as her voice doesn't get on my nerves too much.

Hmmmm, yes i think she is rather *said in posh voice*.

I have to say that her voice drives me mad. BUT she could well be very entertaining in there ... and like you say, the cooking /bossiness could well be her undoing.

OHMYGOD..is that woman for real...(IF indeed she IS a woman!)
Watched this for the first time last night and at first I thought she was acting...nobody speaks like that...she is like a carricature.
All 'jolly hockeysticks' and that kind of thing.
But alas..she IS real.
What a fool.
And her voice. I know people will be nice and want to give her the benefit of the doubt, but I can't stand her.
She is just so bloody bossy...and she wont' be told....she would'nt even listen when those two boys were trying to tell her what to do.
And when she yelled 'Sorry about ruining the car, chaps'...at the end....
OH GOD...she gives me road rage!
Sorry but after 5 minutes in there with her, I would have to shoot her.

Is that who she is...that skinny (but pretty) blonde thing?
I heard her gush a bit about the pet emu's last nite..but that was it.
I guess it's early days yet.
The other posh blonde woman has a very irritating voice too...but she actually seems like a decent enough lady.
She does not irritate me at all...unlike that awful Carole.
What does she do in life?Is she a politician? Is she a journalist?
Does she actually have a job, or is she just cruising along on her mother's name?

I quite like Carol, although why she is an additional butt of humour because of her mother I'm not sure.... doesn't really seem fair.

She wrote an excellent, affectionate, part-deprecating biography of her father: "Below the Parapet" many years before he died. I got the impression from it she is both relaxed and perceptive.

She seems game for a laugh and quite down to earth, but I think her bossiness may irritate some of the others.

Yep, if ever anyone needs to visit the dunny during the night, take Jenny Frost with you and get her to smile - her overly whitened teeth will light up the jungle for miles.

Jenny Frost and Kimberley whatsherface are just boring at Carol has a bit of oomph about her! I didn't dislike or like her before she went in, I had seen her a couple of times on TV and thought she came across quite well. She is more known for being Maggie's daughter than anything else on this show, but I like her and so what if she didn't admit to weeing. Maybe she is like Sid, maybe she does things in her sleep that she can't remember, but yes Taffy the editing was rather good wasn't it?!:angel_not

God I know, Peej, they seem obsessed about showing it. I dare say that every time some poor buggah gets voted off the show, Ant and Dec will be asking if they knew who was the perp of SlashGate, giving them the opportunity to show Thatch pulling her nix down again and watering the daisies !!

Loved the way the rest of the thicko celebs didnt clock the fact that the woman who hasnt shut her clack all the time she has been in the jungle went ohhhhhhh sooooooooo quiet when the talk got around to who had done the dirty deed.

And arrrrrrrrrrr bless at Sid Owen admitting he used to wet the bed and saying he was worried he might have been sleep-peeing !!

I think it's just gammy that she peed beside her bed in the first place.
gross....
did her momma teach her nothing!
And as for not owning up...well....she is bolshy enough about everything else so she can obviously handle the 'shame' or whatever.
She is just horrible.
I think it's so mean the way she let that guy owen (or whatever) get all paranoid about it being him.
Laugh tho'....jimmy osmond and his 'somebody went to the restroom in the camp' comment.

Obviously personal hygiene isnt her forte either. Not only did she pee in camp, she peed on her sock and then wore the same nix all day the next day. YIK.

Magnificent trial. Wunderbar!

Whomever thought that one up is pure bloody genius. Well done ol' chap.

I never thought I would have the opportunity in my own lifetime to witness the daughter of a former prime minister of our country driving a decrepit red vehicle across a very suspect bridge high up in the treetops of an Australian rainforest......but it happened!....it actually did flippin'-well happen, and although I now have a rather sore area on my right hip through having to pinch myself several times in order to convince myself it was actually occurring, I'm very glad it did.

When David Dickinson was talking about carole last nite..and saying she was the kind of woman that you send into the valley of death...that you send off to fight the Spanish...that you send to waterloo...blah blah...I thought it was priceless when Dec said...'they should have sent her off to the dunny!!!!! I LOVE him.

I do too Max!

I knew I'd like her though as she's always been very down to earth, self deprecating and witty whenever I've seen her on programmes. She used to pop up on Frost On Sunday as a guest journalist and other similar programmes.

I'd invite Carol to a party any day of the week over most of the others, I think she'd have us all pee-ing ourselves laughing!

CAROL TO WIN! She is entertaining, self depreciating, totally fearless and an all round good egg, I also think that now she has obvously lost some weight she is quite attractive, nice brown eyes and did you see her toned tanned legs on that climb with Sid, not bad for a woman of over 50!!

Pandora
30-11-2005, 10:18 AM
She is indeed superfit and makes the likes of Antony Costa, who gets out of breath frying an egg, look like a petulant moaning whiner...

Loved the Sid & Carol Treasure Chest Challenge and her delight at the fact they had soft loo roll and a chemical loo.

She has gone from strength to strength in this programme and I find her a strong woman without being aggressive (unlike Janet St Porter who always seemed defensive).

I hope she stays right to the end.

Everybody saw you, when you made a pool.

So Carol, the viewers want you in

Bobby Ball made me laugh when he said that he fancied her as his fifth wife if he werent married already... then when someone asked if they could have his bed and he replied, yes, Carol said to him, "so where are we going to sleep then?"
