Really cute

Funnily enough, I was listening to iTunes and while reading here and "Monster" came on. Just as I was scrolling through the picture of your kid, the lyrics "Whats that coming over the hill, is it a Monster" played.

Doubly cute! :D

What is scarey is how quickly that year has passed. Nice looking boy Groucho who does he take after?

He looks very steady on his feet has he been walking long?

I havent done very much this weekend.

Yesterday was the Butley Flower Show which is like something out of Heartbeat. Its so 60s its wonderful. So i went to that. We then popped into the pub for a quickie ... and ended up staying there for 8 hrs :bored: So that was yesterday done.

Today we went to Halfords as we needed a CD player for the new car. I got a lovely Pioneer one, which was too expensive but hey. We then popped into the pub for an hour and drove home. But we had a shock when we got home ..... Billy the tortoise had gone  He has the run of our patio, and its 'Billy Proof' or so we thought !! We got a bit panicky.

Anyway - i turned to the dog and said "where is Billy, you were supposed to look after him" and he ran into the garden under a bush. I followed him .... and there was Billy :applause: I tell you, how clever is the dog. I keep telling Mr.B he understands every word i say

Mr.B then fitted the new CD player, had dinner - and now he has gone to the pub to play cards. Im about to have a bath and wash my hair .... and then watch Love Island.

I havent got many plans this weekend.

Last night we went to the club last night, but the heat was awful. They arent allowed to have any doors / windows open incase it disturbs the neighbours - and the heat was unbearable. After one drink i went dizzy, had to come home and promptly threw up

So this morning i have a sore throat !! We are about to nip to the pub though for a couple of pints - and then this evening we are going to see Mr.B's sister who is staying at a camp site about 30 mins drive from us. We will get there about 8pm and will probably stay till midnight before coming home. Hopefully the stars will be out.

Tomorrow i have a stack of ironing to do, a joint of pork to roast and not a lot else.

I'm going to Paris for le weekend.

Am a nano-signature away from my biggest ever contract (and it's really big) and they're flying me out to Paris on Friday to meet the European President. So Mr F is driving north to meet me.

Fab, except I can't concentrate on anything at the moment, am trying not to mentally spend the money before it's secure :ninja:, and have to work out how to dump the crook I'm doing some work for currently without giving him the excuse to not pay me.

Well, it's been postponed to Tuesday. Oh the annnntissssipation!

But just as well, because this afternoon, I had a bit of a run-in with the remains of a burger on the floor at London Bridge station. Torn ligaments and left foot like a balloon, so no tripping the light fandango for me for a couple of days.

Saturday evening we are bound to go to the Swan for a meal and to meet some friends are a drink.

I have to wash the car, and it could really do with hoovering out.

I also have a tonne of washing / ironing to conquer.

Saturday evening im torn. We have been going to a local pub for dinner and then our friends turn up at about 9pm and we have a good laugh. I enjoy it. But this Saturday we have been invited to a party being held in the club next door to our house. We really should attend, but i have a feeling it will be boring. We dont know as many people there, and although they have hired a band, i dont think they will be playing my kinda music. I would rather go to the pub, but i know i will go to the club.

Other than Saturday evening i have no plans. Im sure the dogs will be walking their little legs off though.

I hate the flight but its a means to an end so I put up with it.

We are going to be staying at the Gloria Palace Amadores, my son stayed there in July and said it was lovely. It has a huge spa centre with lots of treatments so I may indulge in a few. Dave is the brother who lives in Wales that Crit and Mr C visit often and go on holiday with.

I still can't believe it even as I write he was only 65 and had not suffered with heart problems.

Mr M still wants us to go away but I was torn not knowing what to do as I felt I should go to her. Over the last few years she has been closer to Crit and she will go to her as soon as she wants someone with her but at the moment she just wants to be with her daughter.

I felt awful this morning and I said to Crit I had this feeling of impending doom which sounded daft at the time as I should have been looking forward to my holiday. We are going to go as there has to be a post mortem so the funeral will be after we get back and sil says that is when she will need us all.

well Dol, B-I-L is a preacher and msboy #2 said/says 'dang' & 'shoot' sometimes and S-I-L (hubby's sis) said "...I know your parents don't care how you talk, but over here you will not say those words and you NEED to go home and tell your Mom and Dad that they shouldn't allow you to say them b/c they are just as wrong as YOU are!" Welllllll, I DON'T let him say 'shut-up', 'stupid', 'idiot', and some other words I really don't like...but 'dang' and 'shoot' are really quite harmless and more preferable to 'damn' and 'shi t'!! I appreciate that he needs to follow their 'rules' at their house, but the additional slander was unnecessary for an 8 year old to have repeat to his parents and I really am not fond of her attempts at 'redeeming' my husband and myself, besides, when she has children...well, you know what they say about preacher's kids:laugh:

Don't people like that just make you want to swear and blaspheme more?! ... or is that just me :ninja:

I'm on her list to convert...or die trying. And yes, I wanted to throw a "Bitch Fit" over the ordeal, but hubby said it wasn't worth it. We'll just find alternative things for msboy #2 to do around here and be with us. And he's started basketball, had a practice Saturday afternoon, then got invited to a demolition derby/fair thingie by the neighbors. He had plenty of fun around the homestead this weekend and didn't have to get offended. Msboy #1 likes hanging out with them and his Mamaw (hubby's Mother), b/c he get's all the attention and the grass is greener, all that jazz...I'm still a little flusterated he didn't take up for his little brother, but that's ok, msboy #2 is a tough little stinker!!

Sounds like a fab weekend Bons - have fun in your slutty outfit!

Tonight I am going over the bridge to Fife as I have a jewellery party to host in Glenrothes. Tomorrow I have to be up early as I have a craft fair to attend, it's on form 10.30-4.30. I'll be home in time to watch X-Factor and then it's Mr B's birthday on Sunday, so we'll go out for a meal.

Not a lot. Last weekend was hectic due to fireworks displays etc ...

This weekend we are back to normality. On Saturday we need to pop to the local shops and order a pressie for our local landlord who is leaving next Tuesday. He is a lovely bloke, so we had a whip round. We got £60 from the regulars, so now i can go shopping :good:

Saturday night is pub night, and i always enjoy that. I think my mate Donna is staying the night too.

Sunday ... chill out day. Lots of films, drinking - that kinda thing

I dont know ... mainly because our local pub has just closed down.

The landlord was a lovely man, but a rubbish landlord - so he was asked to leave. The place has now been shut for a week, and the kitchens condemned  Ewwwww, i have been eating food from those kitchens, i wonder what was wrong with them

So we are now local publess (well, one out of two anyway).

Oh, BTW i have a 2nd job (and Mr.B too). We are now fully fledged bar tenders at another local pub. We are both working behind the bar on New Years Eve which should be a laugh ... and a good little earner too :applause:

Ive had a nice weekend so far.

Last night Mr.B and i had an impromptu evening out. He got home earlier than he thought - so we went for a curry and a drink in one of our locals. It was great, and we got chatting, and laughing and ended up not leaving till midnight.

Today i got up late and did a few household jobbies. I watched a good film, spoke to my mum on the phone and have had a few sherbets  I dont know whats happening tonight, but i think we will stay in. We normally go to the same pub as last night on a saturday and meet friends, but because we spent our dosh yesterday we really havent got anything left for tonight. But - you are a long time dead .... so maybe we should

Tomorrow will be dog walking, and i have a chicken dinner to cook. In the evening we are off to a different pub (the one with the wanky landlord) because our lovely X-landlord is coming back to say hi. The regulars have all chipped in for a pressie and card for him, so we will go to see him get his pressie. We wont be staying long though - i dont think my liver (or purse) could cope !!!

Not yet, but they're on our list. My mum had to buy me all the equipment for cake baking cos we kept turning up at hers to try our hand at fairy cakes and wrecked her kitchen :w00t: .

Am a little worried though, cos after the card making episode, cockers came downstairs yesterday to find that Gigi had climbed onto a chair to get to the paint, then painted the downstairs of the house and her brother in a fetching shade of rudolph.

I had a lovely weekend until about 3pm Sunday afternoon. Then i met the most obnoxious (sp) woman ever .... EVER.

She has this whole superior attitude to her, and we were happily having a couple of drinks in the club next door when she arrived with about 50 kids hanging off her ankles.

I took an instant dislike, but i tried to change my mind because she was an animal lover. But she was awful.

I ended up leaving really wound up after she told me that i didnt have asthma (i dont know how we got onto the subject) and that i had allergies instead .... and I shouldn't say i have asthma if i havent because one of her millions babies does .... and its demeaning to her :shocking: WTF :wallbash:

She then said my doctor was wrong in diagnosing me with asthma when i was 14. She knew this from a 30 second conversation with me.

So i think i might see my doctor and tell him that they are all wrong, im not a sufferer because some weirdo down the pub said i wasnt, and that i was dissing her kid :bag:

Dont be silly ..... its the dogs

The real reason it that its traditional for us to be at mums by 7:30am. This was easy when we lived 10 mins away, but not so easy now !!

So we will be up around 5am, get showered and ready .... get the dogs organised with food, bowls, leads, coats etc - and go. So we will set off around 6am. If we are late, it bu**ers up my mums timings / day (see is very stuck in her ways !!)

OMG Bonnie, I am hoping & praying that we will still be tucked up in our beds at 5am, even with two very excitable children.

This weekend, I am going to attempt the food shop, then Saturday afternoon we are off to Mr B's mums which will be a barrel of laughs as she has fallen out with his sister and his brother, but it has to be done! I am also going to make the Nigella Lawson Christmas Chocolate Fruitcake and the stuffing for Christmas Day.

On Sunday we will go to the Christmas Eve morning service at Church and if it is nice we will take the girls uptown to the Reindeer Garden. We are going to friends who live about 10 miles from us in the afternoon, they have an open house but this year is going to be emotional as the guy whose house we are going to has terminal cancer and he isn't doing so good but he still wants to go ahead with his traditional Christmas Eve bash.

I am hoping to make it to the Christmas Eve Watchnight service this year, just depends on where I am with everything else!

This almost didnt happen .... but i have put my foot down with a firm hand :evilmad:

We are doing a few shifts behind the bar at a local pub. Its extra money, and we quite enjoy it really, but we are getting the shifts noone else wants ... which is fine. We are working Boxing Day and New Years Eve because noone else wants to do them, but it really doesn't bother me. We will be working them together.

Now Xmas Eve for me is magical. I get soooo excited like a kid, and to me its about seeing friends for a few drinks, home early and opening a pressie. We have always done the same.

Mr.B just text me and said that the landlady called him and asked if one of us could work Christmas Eve. Now i have told her that that day is a no-no, but she obviously forgot.

Mr.B said i wouldnt, but he could. He told me he was sure is wouldnt be a late one. WHAT!! Not everyone gets up at 5am on Christmas morning, most normal folks stay in bed. So Xmas Eve they get drunk and party till 2am. So not only would he of wrecked my magical Xmas Eve .... he would of ruined Christmas Day as he would have had 3hrs sleep !!!

So i said no. And luckily he was cool about it. Probably deep down he didnt want to do it anyway ... and was thinking of the money, but i would rather do without the £30.

This weekend (well tomorrow actually) my daughter and her partner arrive home for christmas YAY . Although I have seen her loads throughout the year it`s the first time she`s been home in a year so I intend to spoil them both rotten with lots of food and drink.

Christmas starts tomorrow in the Breeze household as Mr SB will finish his shift at 6 in the morning and then he`s off all over christmas. I am getting quite excited now :w00t:

Well...

I'm working today and tomorrow 08-2000

Sunday (Christmas Eve) is a praise party at the church in the morning then, well haven't decided for the afternoon before work in the evening...08-2000

Monday (Christmas Day) home around 0810...bed for a few hours then off to a friends for Christmas dinner in the afternoon (Mama Coastie is with the family in Newquay so I have been adopted) before off to work again for the night shift at 2000!

After that I'm off for four days before the work cycle starts again.

I feel like adopting a couple of friends .... but as im at mums and setting off early i doubt they will want to come !! There are a couple of old men i know who will be alone on Christmas Day, and i hate that

But i am excited (i may of even dribbled a bit of wee) and i cant wait to go to Mr.B's family tomorrow for their party. Mr.B says he will drive because i always drive Christmas Day .... so i can get slaughtered :w00t:

I would like to have a few people round one year but unfortunately work gets in the way all the time...it's a bit pants but hey that's life!

Another friend of mine is on her own and has invited anyone else who is in the same boat round on Christmas day...I had already been adopted by another mate with the same intentions so couldn't play...although I did think of doing the vicar of Dibly thing and going to various people for christmas dinners throughout the day...I have received enough invites to feed a small country so I feel suitably loved!

Any counselors out there?? Other than that, little housework, reading, tv, getting over this friggin' indigestion that has me up since 3.00 am. shame about your abba tribute, i have never been a big abba fan, but I saw Bjorn Again at the Eclipse Festival in 99 and they were bluddy brilliant! Im looking forward to this weekend as i have had a months worth of cr*ppy ones.

I was up for redundancy. It was a 50/50 chance that I would be leaving. So i spent weeks worrying and shaking and not being able to enjoy myself. Luckily they picked me to stay.

Then, the weekend after work had sorted itself out, Mr.B's dad had a stroke. So we had to dash to Essex to see the family and the weekend dissapeared.

Then last weekend i had a cold, and mixed Day Nurse with alcohol. I collapsed in the pub. I havent drunk since !!

So ... hopefully this weekend will go without a hitch. We arent doing anything special. Tonight is fish and chip supper night in front of the telly. Tomorrow we will go to the pub in the evening. And then on a Sunday we always go to a friends house and have an indian takeaway and a few drinks.
