Look at Cerise avatar....I guessed she had changed from that...mind you I could be a million miles wrong and that wouldn't be the first time!

Glad you made it Bob...did you ever find your hat? (I can ask this as it falls under the lost section of the thread title...infact lets open this thread right up....the Lost/Missing/Gone? can apply to anything in your world at the moment! Yes Dol you can include your mind!! )

And so you should be PJ, so you should be! They like to squeal like pigs down there!

I have no idea if there is a college but if you just put on a funny voice and keep saying that Gala (remember that Gala, not Galashiels it could save your life!) is the business, you'll be fine!

I did actually have a good time! Me and Miss PJ went down and visited my cousin and her boyfriend. Ended up getting mashed in her flat then we went out to this (rather small) club - the name escapes me - The Velvet Rooms or something like that...?
Anyway, it was a good night. I tried not to mix with the local folk though after Bella said they were all inbred - and let me tell you, some of them definately looked that way!

Has Jakeyboy left or been booted? To set the record straight I didn't exactly tell him to come back. He popped up on my Messenger last night so I asked him if he was coming back. He said "Do you think people want me back?" Well I couldn't speak for everyone really but I did feel a bit sorry for him so I said "course they do but if you come back, play it down a bit and don't come back with all guns blazing" (or words to that effect).

He didn't seem to take much notice though because I noticed he was back and all over the place again, posting for posting's sake.

He was a bit of a puzzle because he seemed to be mature beyond his years in some respects and then very "little boy" in others.

I think it's a way of insuring you dont come back ... cos after all it is addictive (well ithink it is) and if you've got your account still opened it can be much harder to resist.

I remember how when Gneiss left for the final time not only did he have his accound wiped, he also asked for every one of his posts to be erased, I never really understood that.

You're certainly keeping your nose to the ground SF, are you planning on going to any of the three above-mentioned meets?

naw thanks, I don't have the energy to organise a meet :cold: , but I'll do a beach aprty and a sleep over!
Bella, do Scotland, that would be good.
So there are two meets that we know about (Scotland and my sleepover) so where are the secret meets taking place?
BTW if anyone ever fancies just coming up down or across, just come.

sorry for any offence I've caused, I just always thought you were I thought the original meet was in Edinburgh ... see it shows even I can be wrong sometimes!! Perhaps someone can do a potted history of meets that have occurred!!

Personally though, I couldn't give two hoots. I never did understand why people were so angry about the last one. Then again, I heard the last one was organised in a "but-don't-tell-anyone-else" kind of way - which, if this is true, seems a bit unecessary as well.

It wasn't really done in secret at all, at least I never saw it that way and i don't think the others did (but I could be wrong ... see above!). It was just "low key"!! I think the feigned reason for annoyance was that two of the Survivors from the original programme joined us, but I certainly wasn't aware they were going to come (Maxine, bless her didn't even know who they were!) and anyway after 30 mins I just wanted them to go cos they were spoiling my fun by talking about bloody Survivor all the time ... jeez I mean, get a life!!! lol!

Aww, Dol no offence at all! :) The first meet was in London and it was a secret meet as such. There were a few of us who "spoke" quite regular on MSN and we arranged to meet. At that meet it was decided that everyone wanted to come to Edinburgh. I did book the restaurant and the ghost tour but only after everyone had voted that's what they wanted to do.

I don't think there is really an organiser as such, as SF has pointed out all you do is give a date or vote on a date, then choose a venue and then it's really the individuals that organise their accommodation, transport etc. And once you are there, it's up to you to enjoy it.

Sorry if I sounded rude Dol, it wasn't meant to come across like that.

I didnt know the first 'meet' was the London one. I went to that :w00t:

I feel like part of a naughty clan now ... which is kinda good :wink_kiss

I thought the 1st cloak and dagger meet was the one Dol was referring too .... which now she has mentioned it, the only reason some people were annoyed was because special guest stars went, and others here wanted to meet them. I think i would of been like Maxine though - i wouldnt of known the guys if i had fallen over them

Edited to say - the guys from survivor turned up at the last London meet i went to, and i really couldnt care less. I watched the show because i enjoyed the format, but i didnt hero worship the people taking part.

to be honest i think i came across as a little rude as i didnt speak to them. When they introduced themselves i was like "who" ???? There were others there fawning over them ..... and i truly couldnt be ar*sed. I went to the meet to chat with the peeps off here, not talk to the blokes involved in a show 4 years prior.

I really didnt recognise them either - but im hopeless at names / faces anyway. I dont think i would recognise my next door neighbour if he tripped me up right outside his front door.

I was at the one you mentioned - nothing cloak and dagger at all - and nobody knew the celebs were coming apart from the person who arranged it. Speaking personally, I found it a bit intrusive, as I had been enjoying the company up till then and when the two arrived they naturally became centre stage. Nevertheless they were nice blokes and didn't stay too long, but their arrival did change what had been a small group having a drink into something else.

That is the same one Bonnie. You met us on the Friday night, and that's right we did get free champers as our table wasn't ready and we had wait for a wee while.

Karen & Joscat met us on the Saturday and TE remember you & Urk's flight was delayed and we met you coming into the hotel as we were leaving on the Friday.

No, I think Bonny is meaning Tigereye! The thing is we couldn't understand a word either of them were saying and we just put it down to the fact they were Irish but we soon realised later that they were just pi$$ed! Urk just reminded me of Dougal from Father Ted!

Joscat was hilarous and very, very drunk! She was a raving lesiban, we all did get a bit worried when her & Karen H spent such a long time in the toilet!

Bonnie that was the one that James Groupie came to on one of the nights, and TE and Urk watched the rugby ['member guys?], and we got free champers and you snogged me outside Liverpool St. Station. And Karen H was very poorly in the restaurant toilets and Joscat was an absolute hoot!

It was a memorable meet, Gneiss very sweetly bought ils, me and Bella a lovely box of chocolates each and we were very touched.
