I have only seen Live 8 fully, some clips from Live Aid. So I chose Live 8 but I'm sure Live Aid was good too... with all the new technology: satellites, live TV lol

Neither rocked. Bob is a great man don't get me wrong but this years live aid did not rock as well as the first. The performances given were mostly awful, even by recognised best selling artists who rocked first time round.

In principal ending world poverty is an excellent ideal, but whether any politician cares enough to wipe out 3rd world debt is an issue, they do not like to even think about. They talk a lot to convince you they have this as an interest but meanwhile, divided interests always remain divided.

Maybe, common folk should be given the opportunity to hold positions of real power, results and actions might then be seen to be having some real importance in making poverty history.

I still gave because I like the idea, and the man behind it. Saint Bob.
