Help! I have turned on my pc this morning and there is a pink tinge to it! Any ideas why this is and how I can rectify it?

Sorry Bella! It sounds like your monitor is kaput or on its last legs. What type of monitor do you have? How old is it?

Re the monitor - we've only had it a few months, it's one of those flat thingies. It has a year guarntee so if it is that looks like we'll be taking it back!

You could try degausing the screen. There is normally a menu button on the front of the monitor. See if you can find something about degaus. It might help.. maybe... possibly.

Check all other settings in the monitor menu.

You could also try gently twisting the screen to see if it returns to normal.

Lastly - try bashing it one! Often a monitor seems to wake up after you've given it a good wack!

Ahhh, once I found the menu button and pressed a few buttons, I clicked on the reset button and it appears to have worked!
