I'm looking for some testers of a new feature on SO. It's a new photo gallery.

It uses your SO username and password so you don't need to login each time or register another username.

http://www.survivor-online.co.uk/gallery

You should be able to upload images to both the Public gallery and also your own private gallery. You can set the access permissions on your own gallery so it can be private if you want.

You are able to vote and leave comments on other peoples images etc if they allow you to.

You are also able to send the images as ecards. Lookout for the little envelope icon across the top of the image.

So please test it out and let me know if you have any problems. :)

Well it seems to be working. Takes a while to get used to and work out what you have to do.
Once you have uploaded a file you should be given option of which album you want to put it in.

I posted one photo and after having several brain farts I got all the things done but now it's not there....but I think it said it had to have admin approval?? So, am I approved or rejected??

Excellent - thank you!
Your pic has now been approved :)

Registered members can upload pics - however, they have to be approved first.
Donators and Sponsors are able to bypass the approval pool.

Yes, there will be a proper link to it. I need to change each skin though. Might take me a few days. There are a couple of other new facilities in the pipeline as well. I'm running out of space so I need to come up with better navigation.

I've added a new album for photos from SO Meets. I'm sure some of you have some embarrassing ones you can upload. :)

I've put a few up, so they need to be approved.
But I should have put them into the SO meet folder. I put them in the Photo folder.
Great photo's though everyone.
