View Full Version : Christmas Tipping ... do you do it? and who to? Dolores 16-12-2005, 07:57 PM So do you ever give a Christmas Box to any tradespeople etc? Dolores 16-12-2005, 07:59 PM I only tip the bin men, I usually give them a card with a tenner in it which I hand to them personally, so that later in the year when they are shovelling my crap down the street they take every last bit even though I usually put out one wheelie bin and at least a couple of bin bags. Plus they deserve the money just for transporting my cat's pooh half way round the town every week!! floopy 16-12-2005, 08:04 PM Hello Dolores I usually tip the binmen, postman, window cleaners and paperboy (if we had one, which we don't). Sadly this year we're too skint to tip anyone, so we'll probably get our rubbish tipped in the front garden; our post in a skip and the windows cleaned with dirty water :( Joyeaux Noel Floopy  Rob 16-12-2005, 08:33 PM I don't tip anyone at Christmas - we don't have a paper boy - and we have communal street bins - so not really any binmen! Andrea 16-12-2005, 10:29 PM I've been wondering about this, because earlier this year I started having milk delivered. I don't know whether to leave a little something extra for the milkman next week.:w00t: msgirl 16-12-2005, 11:03 PM I've been wondering about this, because earlier this year I started having milk delivered.
