I'm worried... that the finale is going to be a let down. I really hope not because I've enjoyed this series so much. Can't wait to see it.

Oh yes Haydon - it's not a finale so much as a break until the new series starts - leaving you hanging on waiting and wondering ;)

Of course, if you're an impatient so and so, like me, you can go on one of the file sharing websites and download the episodes that have already aired in the States of the 2nd series. Up to about Ep 10 now! There's been a couple of weeks break over Christmas, so waiting til the next episode airs on the 11th January before some kind person shares it and I can carry on watching.:w00t:

I don't think that it's really an ending - more an end of chapter 1! I have been told by some people who have seen the ending that it is a beauty! - But I'll wait and see.

i have heard mixed reviews. some say its a corker, some say they feel like they've wasted their time watching coz they dont get any answers. whatever it is I CANNAE WAIT!! its gonna be so exciting!! and im doing everything to stop myself from going out to buy the book to find out what happens!

I'd give it the second review but I wouldn't say that I wasted my time watching the series!

Oh, I disagree - that's how it was always going to end. We knew that all those loose ends were not going to be tied up and we would have to wait until Series 2 which will be here in the Spring, so not too long to wait!

I loved this double back to back episode, when the first one ended we did think about taping but decided against it.

When Dominque (is that her name?) handed back the baby and stated that she heard the others whispering about the boy, I just knew she meant Walt!

Oooh, still so many questions unanswered?

Who were the bodies found in the cave?

What did the black & white stones mean?

How did Locke lose the use of his legs?

WHY was it so important that Claire got on that flight?

Did Charlie take the drugs?

Why was Kate on the run in the first place?

What was so important about the watch that Jin had to deliver?

What happened to Jack's wife?

Is Sawyer dead?

How will Michael, Jin and Sawyer (if he is alive) get back to shore?

Where is Dominique ?

Who are the others?

What is the gist of those numbers?

Ooh, and there are more and will we get these answered in Series 2 or is there Series 3?

I have loved this and will be watching in the Spring! Gutted it is finished but Desperate Housewives are just round the corner so they will keep me amused until Lost is back on! Can't wait! :excl:

I have to say that i was dissapointed with the ending. I really wanted something major to finish on ..... and i didnt think the discovery of a tunnel was quite what i had in mind.

I did roar with laughter when that annoying bloke blew himself up though. It made me jump and then nearly wee myself laughing :laugh:

I actually thought we were going to another commerical break when they opened that hole thing with the broken ladder. I was expecting one or both of them to start climbing down and then a scream:sly:

Now that I think about it it did go for a long time over here. Just that the week I went to camp I missed it and when I got a little sick of it for about three weeks and just asked my mum to tell me what happened. You know what I think? I think that we somehow do know all the answers to all the questions just we don't really know they are there; Subliminal in a way... Or maybe we are all to stupid to actually figure it out! Maybe because it's a TV show we naturally expect it to be a little easier to understand. The power of the TV my friends...:shocking:

It was a great ending - leaving all those questions unanswered - but I am gutted that I will have to wait to find out the answers - even then I'm not sure how long it will take before any questions are answered!!

I am finding myself more attracted to Syeed by the minute, by far the manliest man there.

I know what it is. The writers got writers block so they were forced to stop production for a while and decided to call it "the end of series 1"

disappointing ending!! it answered nothing!! i thought we'd be given a little tit bit or something!! and i feel annoyed with myself for staying up when i could have had a nice sleep! each ad break i had to have a snooze i was sooo tired!

i did get distressed when walt was kidnapped. and the whole dynamite thing was a bit boring, like hurry up and it get over and done with and blow up the hatch! and claire just annoys me, i wish she would shut up.

on the other hand it was good, just a normal episode, nothing outstanding to say it was the season finale though, and tears were prickling my eyes when sun and jin said goodbye and walt was taken away.
