View Full Version : Rula Lenska secrets 05-01-2006, 08:44 PM Kinda liked her anyway - top 3 if you give her a chance. Cat 05-01-2006, 08:46 PM oooh this suprised me......someone the others migth recognise.....possibly. Be interesting watching the barnet disintergrate. PJ 05-01-2006, 08:46 PM Errr....who? Cat 05-01-2006, 08:51 PM Errr....who? She used to be quite a popular actress but was probably most famous for marrying Dennis Waterman (....a character in Little Brittain before you ask Peej). secrets 05-01-2006, 08:54 PM She is ginger isn't she? (Put your knickers on Cat) Cat 05-01-2006, 08:57 PM She is ginger isn't she? (Put your knickers on Cat) What on Rula Secrets? PJ 05-01-2006, 09:24 PM Even though I don't know her, I have decided that she should win! Rob 05-01-2006, 09:25 PM I remember her from "Rock Follies" - wonderful programme - Wish they would repeat it somewhere jaycee 05-01-2006, 09:25 PM I like her.............she's a bit barmy but will definately be entertaining Andrea 05-01-2006, 09:27 PM Really surprised to see Rula in there. Obviously wants to get back into TV. She could be good. mazwad 05-01-2006, 09:54 PM I like her too hope she does well. Vauguely remember Rock Follies and liking it. Patsy 05-01-2006, 10:00 PM Yes, she was one of the two that couldn't sing. And she was the worst of those two. Bonsai 06-01-2006, 08:38 AM She is a very attractive woman for her age. I love her hair, but i doubt she can keep up that elaborate hairdoo without stylists / personal hairdresser etc .. maxine 06-01-2006, 08:59 AM I think she looks and talks like a man. Critique 06-01-2006, 10:29 AM I think she looks and talks like a man. I thought that too - she's always had that husky voice of course but now it's gone even huskier she does seem quite mannish. Her hair looks like a wig too - it seems too low down on her forehead. Maybe the Lenska luscious locks have thinned a bit over the years and she has resorted to a little help ;) MariaRob 06-01-2006, 11:50 AM I was really surprised to see her in there actually, although she admitted herself that work was thin on the ground these days. I just remember she starred in an episode of Minder and went off with Dennis Waterman, he left his family and everything. I think she may be a calming influence on the big egos in there. floopy 06-01-2006, 01:38 PM She went to my school, don't you know :pimp: catswhiskas 06-01-2006, 01:48 PM I like Rula too and will be a "mother" figure in there. She is already doing the cooking and I was wondering who would take charge of that. I don't think any of the others apart from Faria would know how to boil an egg. Andrea 06-01-2006, 01:50 PM Apparently Preston is saying he's a bit of a whizz in the kitchen. I've already heard him asking if there's a steamer pan in there. Didn't think anyone of his age would know what a steamer was. MariaRob 06-01-2006, 01:53 PM Didn't think anyone of his age would know what a steamer was. Thought it was a gang that ran into shops and nicked things. Pandora 06-01-2006, 02:07 PM Apparently it was rumoured that Rula beat Dennis Waterman up when they were married. If thats the case, she's alright with me. Ive had the misfortune to meet the man in question. :glare: So, as far as Im concerned - Rula for Queen !! PJ 08-01-2006, 07:30 PM She so wants into George Galloway's pants. Looks like you're not alone Pan! Woodstock 09-01-2006, 07:11 AM If she turns out to be the Rodman-rapist's next victim, and the images of his pouncing on her like a Tibetan tiger are forced upon my only-so-tolerant eyes, then i shall have to bid farewell to this programme for this series. She sounds like a man, the Burns' bloke looks like a woman.......it's all gone Pete Tong!! bridge 10-01-2006, 10:42 AM I like Rula but i thought she would have been a bit more out-spoken, she seems to have kept herself to herself a lot. floopy 10-01-2006, 12:39 PM I think she's a boring old has-been luvvie. :pimp: Buzz 10-01-2006, 12:52 PM I think she's a boring old has-been luvvie. :pimp: I have to concur with this. I haven't seen anything about her yet that makes me like her or dislike her particularly, she is just boring. MariaRob 10-01-2006, 02:14 PM I thought it was hilarious in the midst of everyone arguing yesterday, she said "bananas are 15p"!! Rob 10-01-2006, 04:38 PM I thought it was hilarious in the midst of everyone arguing yesterday, she said "bananas are 15p"!! This may not be true - but apparently on the live feed Pete replied with "Get some for my gorilla then!" Pandora 10-01-2006, 04:40 PM She so wants into George Galloway's pants. Looks like you're not alone Pan! :glare: Ill rip that ginger wig off !!! Dolores 10-01-2006, 09:15 PM I think she's a boring old has-been luvvie. :pimp: I think she looks like what David Bowie would have looked like if he'd taken the Ziggy Stardust look into old age! Andrea 10-01-2006, 10:12 PM This may not be true - but apparently on the live feed Pete replied with "Get some for my gorilla then!" lmao.:ninja: maxine 13-01-2006, 06:23 AM I think Rula was going for 'best actor in a celeb reality show' last night. What a luvvie. Pandora 13-01-2006, 08:32 AM I think Rula was going for 'best actor in a celeb reality show' last night. What a luvvie. I was cringing. TRULY cringing and I said exactly those words Max. What a luvvie..... She isnt the type of person Id hoped she would be. I saw her as the feisty extrovert type in my head and she has turned out to be someone loftily looking down her nose, backstabbing from a distance and desperate to get into George's pants.... Hopefully after her eviction we will never have to see this pontificating old has been again... floopy 13-01-2006, 10:30 AM Oooooooooh yes we will :pimp: Pandora 13-01-2006, 11:33 PM Oooooooooh yes we will :pimp: I know  maxine 14-01-2006, 10:14 AM She's getting on my nerves more and more. I just find her incredibly patronising and superior. MariaRob 14-01-2006, 12:19 PM She's getting on my nerves more and more. I just find her incredibly patronising and superior. I agree. At first I thought she was going to be a kind, stable mother figure but she is just a bitch. Ta ta Rula go back to obscurity you deserve it. Cat 14-01-2006, 01:46 PM She's exactly how I expected her to be and I am enjoying watching her. Luvvies are great and very funny without realising. And she's got red hair. floopy 15-01-2006, 09:12 PM So ! Rula's a dope fiend!! :shocking: I say we string her from the highest tree. Buzz 15-01-2006, 09:13 PM So ! Rula's a dope fiend!! :shocking: I say we string her from the highest tree. And make her wear the pants of power whilst we do it..... floopy 15-01-2006, 09:13 PM Just the pants of power?? Ew! Buzz 15-01-2006, 09:14 PM Just the pants of power?? Ew! Ok the pants of power and a bag over her head.. floopy 15-01-2006, 09:21 PM a very very large bag I hope. :bag: Critique 15-01-2006, 09:33 PM I was surprised to see her losing it and going all weepy. I thought she was tougher than that. floopy 15-01-2006, 09:35 PM I think it's all about nicotine depravation, poisonally. She's tough as old boots otherwise. bridge 16-01-2006, 03:47 PM Is it just me or do i just have a dirty mind! but i think Rula is se-x starved and right now she seems to be gagging for any kind of sex-ual attention. POOR LOVE! Pandora 16-01-2006, 03:49 PM I was surprised to see her losing it and going all weepy. I thought she was tougher than that. She's an actress dahhhhhhling....... Bonsai 17-01-2006, 08:16 AM Rula's special pants meant that she could vote for whoever she wanted to leave the BB house. Three are up for nomination, but i dont know which one she voted for to go ... probably Pete. I dont think the HM's will be happy when they find out :w00t: Critique 17-01-2006, 09:03 AM I'm not keen on the Rula Lenska that we've seen in the house. Far too manipulating, backstabbing and luvvie but I would defend her on her looks because she hasn't resorted to surgery. Apart from Pete looking like a warning to everyone to keep away from it, she must feel conscious of the way she looks when she's surrounded by the likes of Traci, Chantelle and Faria. They all have youth on their side and don't have to worry about the ravages of time on their faces. Having said that, I wonder if she will be tempted into having a "lift" when she gets out :) I thought she looked like Ab-Fab's Patsy in that blonde wig. MariaRob 17-01-2006, 10:27 AM Having said that, I wonder if she will be tempted into having a "lift" when she gets out :) . I thought exactly the same Critique! Good luck to her if she does, she must make unfavourable comparisons with herself, Tracie, Chantalle and to a degree Faria who claims to be 39 but I suspect is already in her 40s. Still it happens to us all in the end. Andrea 17-01-2006, 10:01 PM Is it just me or do i just have a dirty mind! but i think Rula is se-x starved and right now she seems to be gagging for any kind of sex-ual attention. POOR LOVE! Well she could be in luck, if Dennis doesn't get anywhere with Faria. Rula could be the next victim:eek: Bonsai 18-01-2006, 09:00 AM I dont know if this has been mentioned elsewhere - as i havent read the whole BB forum yet ... but on BBLB this morning it showed Rula and George slagging off Tracey. They were really cruel - but what they didnt realise was that she was in the bedroom with them listening to every word. When they did realise Rula looked soooo guilty. Pandora 18-01-2006, 10:16 AM I dont know if this has been mentioned elsewhere - as i havent read the whole BB forum yet ... but on BBLB this morning it showed Rula and George slagging off Tracey. They were really cruel - but what they didnt realise was that she was in the bedroom with them listening to every word. When they did realise Rula looked soooo guilty. Hahaha serves them right. Its really scary that people you perceive as even slightly intelligent resort to childish playground tactics so quickly. No doubt Traci will now nominate both of them.... :sly: Patsy 18-01-2006, 10:24 AM Absolutely! And yeah, she really hated the power bestowed upon her and having to nominate Pete, didn't she? My ar$e. Pete's got the absolute measure of her. She's tried to come across as the gentle, genial, mother-figure and has now shown her true colours, just because she wants GG in her pants! Allegedly. Pandora 18-01-2006, 10:29 AM Absolutely! And yeah, she really hated the power bestowed upon her and having to nominate Pete, didn't she? My ar$e. Pete's got the absolute measure of her. She's tried to come across as the gentle, genial, mother-figure and has now shown her true colours, just because she wants GG in her pants! Allegedly. Hahahah yes, the Pants of Power Reward delightedly her secretly didnt it?? She tried all the luvvie tricks under the sun to convince the group otherwise - voice breaking slightly as she told them the "awful news", wiping away the solitary tear as she grappled with the unfairness of it all.... She is about as much a Mother-figure as The Marsh was ! As you say, Pete Burns has her down as a superior, backstabbing, impatient, desperate luvvie - and he is spot on. MariaRob 18-01-2006, 10:35 AM Dont like Rula at all and dont think she has done herself any career favours in the House. What has she been in apart from Rock Follies and one episode of Minder? She is hardly Judi Dench is she? Patsy 18-01-2006, 11:37 AM She was Mrs Peacock Cluedo and had parts in various other forgettable series. She's really only famous for being married to Dennis Waterman, as far as I can see. Dolores 18-01-2006, 05:14 PM A quote from The Simpson, as Otto said to Selma Bouvier (Marge Simpson's sister): "yeh, but you weren't born a chick were you?!" that's what I think when I see Rula and listen to her! Dolores 18-01-2006, 07:37 PM wasn't she a dead ringer for Lily Savage (without the wit of course) in that wig! floopy 18-01-2006, 10:08 PM I thought it was more Bet Lynch, myself, but I see where you're coming from. Dolores 18-01-2006, 10:12 PM I thought it was more Bet Lynch, myself, but I see where you're coming from. you are of course absolutely right! (me? obsessed? with you? .... i can't help myself!) :kid: Critique 20-01-2006, 07:56 PM I was channel hopping this afternoon and as I flicked through FTN there was none other than Rula. It was on a program called Harley Street. She was having hypnotherapy for - guess what - giving up smoking - hahahaha! It must have been an old program because it ended with her saying that she hadn't had a cigarette for a whole month and that she was now a non-smoker :shocking: Obviously wasted her money there then ;) Andrea 20-01-2006, 09:21 PM Well she's out. She didn't look to happy about it though. Pandora 20-01-2006, 09:54 PM Well she's out. She didn't look to happy about it though. She had a face like a slapped ****. I notice the boos died down very quickly as that laser beam hard as nails stare scanned the audience.....:shocking: Critique 21-01-2006, 09:31 AM I'm not surprised she was gutted though. If snake in the grass George hadn't picked her as his "punishment" and lead Preston along I doubt whether she would have got voted out just yet. It was a double whammy for her, being up for nomination was bad enough but to get evicted over Traci .... I think she might need therapy :) MariaRob 21-01-2006, 01:44 PM I didnt like her much but I did feel sorry for her as George did betray her. She thought as him as her friend and confidante in the house and he nominated her out, for what reason? The fact that "someone had said" she wanted to win - eh? They are all in it to win it arnet they or am I missing something? Also I would have thought someone like George would have been stronger minded than to listen to tittle tattle and would have his own opinions? I suspect it was Pete and George seems to be in thrall to him. Never ever trust a politician. PJ 12-02-2006, 10:15 PM I heard that she is now going to be the new face advertising Sheba catfood (no joke!) Do you think George will join her? Fee For All 12-02-2006, 10:37 PM He may have to  His Scottish Mail on Sunday column's been pulled, and the first night of his tour was cancelled with the rest looking a bit ropey Billed as the "Mother of All One Man Shows", Galloway's national tour - which included dates in London and Halifax - was meant to be the beginning of a series of lucrative spin-offs from Big Brother. But instead of the expected sell-outs, sales have been very slow with many venues barely selling enough to fill the stalls. The Reading venue, which has a capacity of 700, admitted only 150 tickets had been sold. In Cambridge, where the capacity is 400, again only around 150 tickets had been sold. At Lewis, Sussex, just 30 tickets out of 150 had been sold, according to the box office. In Southampton and Northampton, both admitted to selling fewer than 100 tickets. A spokesman for the Wyvern Theatre, Halifax, admitted fewer than 200 tickets had been sold, leaving 1,200 empty seats. And his appearance at the big Muslim rally resulted in a load of booing. Looks like he'll have time on his hands to catch his ex-housemates on't telly :) MariaRob 13-02-2006, 10:48 AM Looks like he'll have time on his hands to catch his ex-housemates on't telly :) Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke!!!!! |
