View Full Version : Preston jaycee 05-01-2006, 09:06 PM Preston from the Ordinary Boys? Eeerrrrmmm...........can anyone enlighten me? Cat 05-01-2006, 09:12 PM Isn't he the character in Colin McNaughtons Preston Pig books...."oops, said Preston". Brilliant! (The books...reserving judgement on this Preston) PJ 05-01-2006, 09:31 PM I actually like their song "Boys will be boys"! edit: Jaycee, you don't know of them cos you're older than me! :kid: jaycee 05-01-2006, 09:33 PM Peej, you can't tell from here but I'm sticking out my tongue & blowing rasperries at you. Cat 06-01-2006, 06:21 AM He's got a lovely face. Bonsai 06-01-2006, 08:16 AM I dont know his Band or him .... but he is a good looking guy. I mean, BB had to give us girls a little bit of eye candy didnt they. Andrea 06-01-2006, 12:18 PM I think Preston's sussed onto Chantelle. Just watching live feed on E4 and Preston, George and Faria were chatting outside, and Preston was saying that Chantelle could be a plant, he said about her being a plant, then the truth comes out, making them all look stupid. Well done Preston. Interesting to see what he says tomorrow when BB test the HM to see if they think Chantelle is a star. floopy 06-01-2006, 01:32 PM Oooh, if I were ten years younger he'd have been just my type :pimp: . Am loving the new-mod Fred Perry lookage. On the whole I think I like him. Pandora 06-01-2006, 02:25 PM I actually like their song "Boys will be boys"! edit: Jaycee, you don't know of them cos you're older than me! :kid: I love their song too Peej !!! Oh, and I SOOOO would..... :naughty: Andrea 06-01-2006, 09:34 PM I'm quite warming to him as well. And how cool did he look in the diary room with those glasses on. Pandora 06-01-2006, 09:45 PM I'm quite warming to him as well. And how cool did he look in the diary room with those glasses on. Lil' cutie isnt he? And how effin typical that ultra violet toothed, gravy browning faced Marsh latched onto him........ GRRRRRRRRR  Nox 06-01-2006, 09:49 PM Don't worry Jaycee I haven't heard of him either. Why don't they ever have any really famous pop stars like Cliff Richard or Tom Jones? :) Rob 06-01-2006, 10:11 PM Why don't they ever have any really famous pop stars like Cliff Richard or Tom Jones? :) Probably because they'd be worried that the Queen would take their knighthoods back if they went in :kid: Andrea 06-01-2006, 10:17 PM Oooh now Tom Jones in there would be interesting:naughty: Woodstock 07-01-2006, 07:59 AM .....north-west of England......near Burnley........ .....no, i've never heard of him either, nor for that matter his band....... Dolores 07-01-2006, 08:40 AM I'm quite warming to him as well. And how cool did he look in the diary room with those glasses on. he is NOT quite as cool as Jarvis Cocker with glasses on though is he! Quite liking him, but worry he might turn out to be a sanctimonious little tw*t! kookycat 07-01-2006, 02:11 PM oh my god, phooarrwwwwwww, that's all im gonna say. he's HOT!! Woodstock 09-01-2006, 09:20 AM This one's emrged quite late. I don't think i even caught sight of his shadow during the first nights screening! Seems to be a genuinely down-to-earthish sort of bloke. Though i cannot understand the placement of two like-people such as Maggot-boy and this fella alongside one another in the same series. Someone on here (think it was "Fee") mentioned that he has features befitting of a Gerry Andersen puppet - as much as it appears to be true, i'm not going to shake that image off from now until the series-end, and it may well taint my voting patterns......not that i frig*in' vote on any of these shows anyway! (I only do "spiritual voting") Woodstock 09-01-2006, 09:25 AM I actually like their song "Boys will be boys"! edit: Jaycee, you don't know of them cos you're older than me! :kid: yeah, saw his wonderful and brief performance of that song on last night's show. I may be being over-generous with that word "wonderful" - as i believe "shan't-tell's" own performance could have made anyone else's look admirable. Was she supposed to take the songsheet with her?? - kind of gave things away slightly that particular move didn't it....... Woodstock 09-01-2006, 09:28 AM I dont know his Band or him .... but he is a good looking guy. I mean, BB had to give us girls a little bit of eye candy didnt they. .....you got Dennis Rodman didn't you?? - though he seems to be more "curiosity candy" to some. Oh, the shame of those women. (corr. two women, one slag) Woodstock 09-01-2006, 09:30 AM Oooh now Tom Jones in there would be interesting:naughty: ....it's not unusual.... jaycee 09-01-2006, 09:24 PM Ashamed as I am to admitting the same taste as Jodie but what a little honey............especially in those glasses:devil: Cat 09-01-2006, 10:46 PM Still liking him even though he is sticking up for Jodie. Show's he's his own person even if he is wrong. Patsy 11-01-2006, 09:13 PM He's my favourite to win at the moment. He seems the most honest, without being the most confrontational (that prize goes to Pete). He has a wise head on young shoulders. I am liking him a lot. mazwad 11-01-2006, 10:20 PM He certainly showed staying power with that task how revolting that must have been to keep going back to them after chucking up so many times. I like him as he doesn't seem so swayed by the older ones and makes up his own mind. Woodstock 12-01-2006, 07:27 AM Made no sense whatsoever in the diary room on last nights show...... "........and also I'm sure a lot of people will think....Jodie's being.....you know...being...annoying (well.....YEAH!) and a lot of people think Pete's being annoying........but.....from where i am.....looking at them in the eye, do you know what i mean? (not so far , no), i can tell that they're both really alright (not from where i am they're not Preston), like.....i mean Jodie's SAID SOME FU**IN' STUPID THINGS! (too true....too true)....Pete's said some FU**IN' STUPID THINGS!!, but they're both alright (oh no they're not.....not by a long stretch)....and i know they say they hate each other (that's because they really do Prest), they don't fu**in' hate each other, they love each other....whereas i think George is just like....he's just lookin' around and being a bit shifty, like it's not hard to make an effort is it?, do you know what i mean? (well, go make your own drinks in future Prest - ref: episode one), and Jodie just wants to like, get her tits out....and...and that and whatever....and that's (er....no it's not, ESPECIALLY while that plonker Rodders is around), but i think....that.....she can get her tits out in three weeks, you know what i mean? (wish i did son....wish i did.....) It's either too much of the ol' booze inside him or the hoooooouuuuse is really starting to get to him.....but it's okay 'cos Barry Moore made even less sense during his latest late-nite "board meeting" with the Burns fella. (more on that in Barrymore's own thread) I stopped liking this one the moment he revealed that "youth should stick together and the oldies ought to p**s off" mentality Bonsai 12-01-2006, 09:50 AM I think he is fab - and i want to marry him  During the eating task, immediately after throwing up someone asked if anyone wanted wine ... and he went "yeah, me please" even though he couldnt possibly of drunk it. He was trying to be upbeat and get on with the job in hand - unlike Faria who cried about eating a bit of spinach :shocking: Rob 12-01-2006, 03:29 PM The more I see of Preston the more I think his group are well named! And Im sorry, the more this programme goes on, the more unattractive he becomes. He looks like he has no top teeth to me, squinty darting little eyes and a body like Mr Burns (the concave chested one on The Simpsons, not Pete) Dolores 14-01-2006, 10:14 PM Quite liking him, but worry he might turn out to be a sanctimonious little tw*t! I'm quoting myself cos for once I'm right, I am right aren't I ... all that ****e in the pool about George being sound .... yep he's turned into a sanctimonious little tw*t ...and it only took a week and 2 days! secrets 14-01-2006, 10:15 PM I think he is playing a very good game, staying out of the spotlight, flying under the radar early on, now he is moving in on Chantelle for the will they/won't they factor, and relying on his looks to pull him through - he has studied this programme and done his homework. kookycat 15-01-2006, 02:21 PM nope still think he is hot with fab dress sense!! but less of that groping chantelle please. Pandora 15-01-2006, 04:42 PM I think he has realised with Chantelle, he has found his ticket to the final. The more gullible voters love a bit of "will they, wont they?" action..... Leonardo Di Caprio is a young Leonardo Di Caprio. And Preston looks nothign like him. Dolores 16-01-2006, 09:24 PM he's a bit of an ar$e when he's drunk isn't he! what was it two lager shandies tonight!! he is as predatory as Denis but probably has a much smaller willy! Hahahaha.... yup, a sniff of the barmaids apron and all of Preston's true feelings come out as he gazes adoringly at a giggling Chantelle. Despite all the protestations to the contrary, they fancy each other like mad, and despite Chantelle saying, "nah nah I wudden do anyfin like that, he's got a girlfriend. I mean I wudden like anyone to do it to me...." she then promptly sits on his lap, cuddles him, they play footsie under the table without seemingly realising it.... etc etc...... He said, "look at her preening herself and lying around, draped over the furniture showing her body off ....." The psychologists will have a field day as her body language was saying the complete opposite as she was vowing that Preston was just a friend to her !! :sly: Critique 18-01-2006, 10:56 AM Oooh that Preston - he's going round telling all the housemates that there's nothing between him and Chantelle, just that he likes her and she is everything he likes in a woman (not got very high expectations then has he?) and that she reminds him of his girlfriend and he would go out with her if he didn't have a girlfriend (I have a feeling that he doesn't have to worry on that score if his girlfriend's got any sense - as peviously discussed). The meanest thing was when he said to Chantelle "You're like a disposable camera" :shocking: Meaning, I presume, that he can use her and chuck her away afterwards. Even "nothing upstairs" Chantelle cottoned on that it wasn't exactly a compliment but just giggled her disapproval until he rephrased it! He's not as squeaky clean as he seemed at first and I'm liking him less and less. MariaRob 18-01-2006, 11:35 AM Aw, leave em alone. They are going to naturally gravitate towards each other as they are the only two really young ones in there. Are they worn down and black? Dolores 18-01-2006, 07:56 PM I think ...gulp ... I think ... <<dolores takes a deep breath>> I think that Preston could be a winner! :ranting: He is the most savvy one in there and he knows the young girllies who phone up (and Floopy!) will love him. He is appealing to the exact demographic that BB and the advertisers dream of! d'oh! floopy 18-01-2006, 10:06 PM You're obsessed with me woman! It's embarassing :wink2: . I do think Preston is playing a very clever game. Dunno if you remember, but at the start of the show he said that he'd already agreed with his girlfriend that if Anna Nicola Smith was in the house he'd shag her, which indicated to me that him and his gf are rock solid and have agreed that he'll do whatever he needs to do to stay in the house and further his career. He knows how BB works, he's watched it and he also knows that the GBP love to see a bit of romance. He doesn't take part in bitching, he's got no strong opinions on anything, he sticks up for the underdog but never gets involved in any rows. I think he's a winner. Dolores 18-01-2006, 11:38 PM I think he may have shot himself in the foot with tonights nominations! he is backpeddling like some who is back peddling furiously ....oh and blaming George for "leading" him! what a weasel ...in fact he is taking on weasel like features more and more every day (apologies to all weasels out there!) Dolores 23-01-2006, 06:59 AM Preston is playing to the audience so much. His little comment when he was posting his vote in the ballot box and his visits to the diary room. It's not endearing him to me. me either ... but I fear it will endear him to the legions of teenage girls madly texting in for him. Pandora 23-01-2006, 03:45 PM Preston is playing to the audience so much. His little comment when he was posting his vote in the ballot box and his visits to the diary room. It's not endearing him to me. Unfortunately Max, there are some incredibly gullible people out there who cant see that Preston is now playing to the crowd. He is constantly sucking up to Big Brother in the diary room, desperate to come over as Mr Nice Guy to us watching at home. Its becoming so obvious, its bloody annoying. Much as I think George deserves everything he gets, he was absolutely spot on when he questioned why Preston went into the Diary Room and admitted he had been talking about noms with George and therefore told Big Brother he was sorry, but then came back out of the Diary Room and didnt actually mention the fact he had "confessed" in there about talking about nominations, to George. It was obvious he did it to suck up, to come across as Mr Contrite, Mr Goody Goody, Mr Nice Guy and obviously didnt tell George he had done so, because he wanted him to look bad. Also the constant denials "No, Im not bovvered, no Im not upset" at the fact that GG had told Rula, he would have nommed Preston if he hadnt have been in the diary room with him, was SUCH a lie. His sly, darting little eyes told a different story. Galloway, for all his machinations, political back stabbing etc, has proved to be an astute judge of the characters in the big brother house, as is Pete Burns, and both of them have sussed Preston's little game. I think our very own PJ had Preston sussed a while ago too..... However, the legions of tweenies that cant see past Preston's pretty boy looks (and those are debatable) will no doubt vote in their thousands to ensure he wins..... PJ 23-01-2006, 06:21 PM I think our very own PJ had Preston sussed a while ago too..... Of course he did :wink2: I hope he'll be really proud of putting his girlfriend through this sort of media hounding. Exactly. What he and Chantelle are doing is both insensitive and incredibly selfish. I know it must be hard to control various urges in that sort of closed environment but they least they could do is have some self-control and not subject Preston's poor girlfriend to these incredibly obvious displays of flirting. Pandora 23-01-2006, 09:46 PM Although I think one or two of the housemates are overreacting re this "Banking Task" (step forward George "Ive been scorned" Galloway and Pete "Im bored so Im going to be malicious" Burns), Preston's self righteousness really does get on my norks. He and Chantelle, considering they are in their twenties are incredibly immature, therefore its little wonder the others patronise them sometimes. Oh and anyone clock Preston's face when Chantelle said in the diary room to him, "Anyway I really DONT fancy you, you GEEK!!!!" His face was a dead giveaway. Gutted wasnt even close. Pandora 24-01-2006, 03:57 PM I love the way the tables have been turned on Preston by Big Brother re this Banking Task. He was pretty smug, cruising really. Buttering people up with hugs, bonding with Chantelle, being Mr Nice Guy in the Diary Room with Big Brother and even doing a spot of sucking up to teacher by admitting he had broken the rules. This was mentioned by a couple of housemates and Im pretty sure the Psychologists clocked it all pretty quickly. So what do they do? They arrange to remove Preston from his comfort zone. It was no accident, in my opinion, that they waited until Chantelle and Preston were alone in the kitchen before Big Brother rang the telephone. It was obvious when given the choice of who to take into the Diary Room with her, that Chantelle would take Preston. Not only is he her best mate but he was standing directly in front of her. Big Brother then manipulate Chantelle and Preston and make them tell lies. They also give them uniforms to wear - absolutely guaranteed (especially Preston's uniform) to get up the noses of the more touchy housemates. On top of ALL that, they give them a secret room where they can freely indulge in champagne, chocolate, cigars, cigarettes and pastries. ALL shown to the other housemates, ALL guaranteed to wind them up and ALL guaranteed to scupper Preston's little game plan - or at least to derail it temporarily. The huge row shown tonight, if you watch carefully, is ALL about the fact that Chantelle and Preston did not divulge the fact that they had been in a Secret Room and stuffed themselves stupid with luxury items. Galloway, in particular, would take incredible offence to this, due to his extreme left wing politics, where the masses should SHARE everything and no-one is above anyone else. Therefore to see people on a plasma screen, giggling, indulging themselves with luxuries and then lying about it - would send him into an apoplectic rage. Which of course it did. Because Galloway was upset, Rodman joined in, because Galloway was upset, Pete joined in.......... and so the nice little ball that the Big Brother Psychologists had set gently rolling began to thunder along like a runaway train. Exactly as they predicted and exactly how it was planned. Scary how easy it is to read people and to predict their reactions but it makes fantastic telly !!! Just dont miss it all kicking off tonight !!!! :wink2: Critique 24-01-2006, 05:26 PM Much as I agree that Big Brother were playing mind games, I don't think even they could have predicted the sheer venom that was spouted by Bullybore and Gorge. They must have been slapping each other on the back for the way that all turned out. I couldn't stop watching but felt like a peeping tom. It was quite stressful to watch. I think I get too involved. Preston is a bit smug and self satisfied isn't he but he still seems nice compared to the others. Patsy 24-01-2006, 09:17 PM I think he did well tonight, too. Pete and George seem to think that by accusing him of being sly and a liar, the GBP will believe them. Unless he's being very clever, I can't see it myself. At the end of the day, BB got exactly what they wanted tonight - a great programme. Rob 24-01-2006, 09:29 PM At the end of the day, BB got exactly what they wanted tonight - a great programme. Boy, is he in for a shock! :shocking: Pandora 25-01-2006, 03:44 PM Oh come on, Bella, you are surely not shocked about that? Galloway has always been completely deluded, so his utter conviction that he is right comes as no surprise. I still think Preston is an utter cockkk though. And if he says ONCE more, (whether its right or not), "A cheatin' politician eh? who'da thought it....?" I think Ill knock all his horrid stained teeth out. Bonsai 30-01-2006, 11:41 AM Preston on GMTV this morning - god he's a miserable little git. He was wasnt he .... but i think he is sick to the back teeth of talking about Chantelle and nothing else. From what he said the press intrusion has been terrible. He said his girlfriend was pulled out of their flat by the hair from some journo (although i find this hard to believe). I have to say, since he has been in Big Brother i have heard the song 'Boys will be boys' loads of times - and i love it. I think the BB experience has certainly done wonders for his band. maxine 30-01-2006, 01:09 PM Missed it - what did he say? I felt quite sorry for him actually, Max. He seemed knackered and thoroughly pi$$ed off to me. He was saying how his girlfriend had been physically dragged from her flat by the paparazzi and that can't be a nice thing to handle. He's experiencing both sides of the double-edged sword that is "celebrity" and he's probably not really mature enough to handle it yet. That coupled with the fact that everyone is trying to throw him and Chantelle together and he's trying to deny it without wanting to hurt either girl's feelings. PJ 30-01-2006, 04:51 PM I've rapidly went right off Preston's band's song "Boys will be Boys" - not only is it being played to death on the radio up here already, but I walked by Virgin Megastores, HMV and The Music Zone today at seperate times and they were all playing it! Patsy 30-01-2006, 05:00 PM Beat ya! :kid: PJ 30-01-2006, 05:03 PM Beat ya! :kid: It was deliberate... maxine 30-01-2006, 05:19 PM I felt quite sorry for him actually, Max. Sorry but if you don't like the questions (obviously he knew they were going to be about Chantelle) then don't do the interview. I think he should start be a bit more cheerful. He doesn't come across as moody, broody, just sulky, wulky. Patsy 30-01-2006, 08:27 PM Okey dokey. Pandora 02-02-2006, 06:50 PM It was reported on the radio today that Preston has asked his girlfriend, Camille, to marry him. PJ 02-02-2006, 07:35 PM Hope she told him to f*** off. He's probably raging that Chantelle is more famous than him now. ils 02-02-2006, 07:44 PM It was all over the front of the Daily Mirror today! Story Here (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/tm_objectid=16655703%26method=full%26siteid=94762% 26headline=bb%2dexclusive%2d%2dpreston%2dgets%2den gaged-name_page.html) Pandora 02-02-2006, 10:16 PM It was all over the front of the Daily Mirror today! Why am I not surprised? Bella 03-02-2006, 10:53 AM I am with Max on this one - what did Preston expect when he came out the BB house? He goes on chat shows, the presenters are not interested in what he had for breakfast or what flowers he grows in his garden, of course they are going to ask about the Love Triangle. He was a miserable git and he will only bring Chantelle down, get rid now girl! He is a wimp and a sulky brat! Funny the story I heard today that Camille had dumped Preston leaving Chantelle free to do whatever with Preston............to be honest though, I don't really care. This time next year we will be saying Preston Who.......? Bonsai 07-02-2006, 08:54 AM Well Preston has officially finished with his girlfriend. He was on GMTV this morning, and apparently his girlfriend hated being in the public eye and being photographed so they have split. He said he would like to see Chantelle as mates, but he knows if he did they would get followed around, and details of their supposed romance would be all over the press. floopy 07-02-2006, 12:55 PM Hang on a minute, if you hated the media attention, and didnt want to discuss your private life on tv, when on earth would you appear on GMTV to do exactly that? :glare: Hmmm, methinks our Preston has a very clever agent who will be playing out the will they/won't they story for as long as there's any mileage/money left in it. I fully expect to see Preston and Chantelle - Our First Steamy Night Together in the NotW, shortly followed by Preston Broke My Heart the following week and possibly even Chantelle and Jodie in Lesbian Romp the week after. Call me a cynic...... Andrea 07-02-2006, 02:27 PM Cynic...............:p Andrea 07-02-2006, 02:28 PM Cynic doesn't look like it's spelt right. Oh damn you lot, you've got me at it now. floopy 07-02-2006, 04:43 PM It probably looks odd because of the capital C. A sentence rarely begins with a singular noun. Sorry, I just can't help myself :ninja: Rob 07-02-2006, 09:05 PM According to Digital Spy he is deliberately contradicting himself to confuse matters!
