View Full Version : Pete's Gorilla.... Dolores 07-01-2006, 08:46 PM loved it, loved it, loved it!!!! How quickly did Jodie get over her horror of it?! a bit too darn quickly for my liking!!! Pandora 07-01-2006, 09:29 PM Arent gorillas short haired??? Anyway, although I wouldnt wear fur, I DO wear leather and eat meat so Im in no position to judge, he can wear what he likes. I get the feeling The Marsh only supports PETA because its the done thing. Cynical moi???? bridge 08-01-2006, 01:37 PM I hope when Pete leaves the Big Brother house all the animal rights people will come out in force and pelt him with eggs for wearing that Gorilla fur coat. FUR IS WORN BY BEAUTIFUL ANIMALS AND UGLY PEOPLE! (Yes Pete I'm talking about YOU!):pooh: floopy 08-01-2006, 08:35 PM I've personally never seen a black and white gorilla, but hey. I can't abide people who wear animal fur, whatever their reasoning. MariaRob 09-01-2006, 04:15 PM Celebrity Big Brother contestant Pete Burns could face jail over his "gorilla-skin" coat, a Government minister has warned. The Dead Or Alive star claims his fur coat is made from the endangered animals. Now the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has stepped in to say Burns may face "serious consequences" if this turns out to be true. Trading in endangered species carries a penalty of up to five years in prison and an unlimited fine. Biodiversity Minister Jim Knight said: "Gorilla skins belong on gorillas, not on reality TV show contestants. Gorillas are critically endangered, and any promotion of gorilla products in this country can only put these amazing creatures in further peril. "If this is in fact a gorilla skin, there may be serious consequences. "Any gorilla skin acquired after June 1947 would require an exemption permit, which would be highly unlikely to be granted. Equally, any gorilla skins or other products brought into this country require an import permit." The coat has already sparked a furious row with fellow housemate Jodie Marsh. When surgically-enhanced singer Burns said he was offended by Marsh's autobiography, in which she spilled details about her ex-boyfriends, the glamour girl retorted: "Well, I think it's low that you wear a monkey coat. It offends me every time I see it on your back." Burns hit back: "That thrills me. I get off on the fact that my coat offends someone who put her boyfriend's dirty underwear in a book. I'm thrilled. "I wish I had a sable coat and a chinchilla dressing gown and every other fur I could lay my hands on." bustywench 12-01-2006, 11:38 PM He's generally just a hideous human being. I was kinda wondering whether he'd face prosecution over the gorilla skin, if indeed it is gorilla. I wouldn't be surprised if it's just faux fluff, though. He's enough of an exhibitionist to say just about anything to draw the cameras, and the spotlight within the house, on himself. Besides which, it's a centrally heated joint, no? Is there any good reason for wearing a tastelessly obnoxious coat indoors, anyway? Whether it's gorilla or not, the bottom line is that it looks like crap. Dolores 21-01-2006, 08:41 PM OH .... MY ..... GOD!!!!! what a fuss that attention seeking harlot is making of the loss of his coat, which btw he hadnt even noticed was missing. thank ****** we are only seeing editted highlights ... I can only imagine the boring awfulness of it being his only topic of conversation for hours and hours!!! did I hear big brother right, did he say it's been 3 hours and 27 mins since Pete demanded his coat back ... err didn't the disgusting diva say he was walking after two hours! Pete you are such a yawn ... climb back up your backside! woe betide anyone in the house for going on about something important to them, that whore is soon down their throats telling them to stop being so self centred! .... oh I love it! Fee For All 21-01-2006, 08:49 PM  Did George just suggest offering the police some sort of 'financial compensation'? Dolores 21-01-2006, 08:55 PM  Did George just suggest offering the police some sort of 'financial compensation'? i think he wanted Pete to get financial compenstation FROM the police!!! ha! ha! ha! ... can George get any more pompous I ask myself every night and then yes every night he tops the previous night!!!!!! floopy 21-01-2006, 09:37 PM I thought he was suggesting the BB up Pete's fee to make him stay in the house to compensate him for his emotional trauma  Fee For All 21-01-2006, 09:57 PM Just wishful thinking on my part then :pimp: Bella 21-01-2006, 10:33 PM i think he wanted Pete to get financial compenstation FROM the police!!! ha! ha! ha! ... can George get any more pompous I ask myself every night and then yes every night he tops the previous night!!!!!! That's what I thought George meant! Unbelievable eh?! So Diva George reckons that Diva Pete should get compensation for having his coat taken away......oh pur....lease! Pete should think his sorry ass lucky if it is not thrown in jail and by god if he is his sorry ass had better be up against the wall! I didn't see the eviction last night so didn't realise tonight's show that Pete wasn't even in the room when Rula go evicted - who on earth does he think he is? He is jumped up prima donna who is very much as has has has been - was it because of his coat that he didn't join the others and what was he like hiding in the toilet! How pathetic can you get? And George is soooo stirring it isn't he? First all palsy walsy with Barrymore and now there he is stabbing him in the back by telling Pete that Barrymore is getting annoyed with him. I do hope that Pete gets arrested when he gets out, I'd like to see him making his hissy fit demands to the Police! Pandora 21-01-2006, 10:54 PM I do hope that Pete gets arrested when he gets out, I'd like to see him making his hissy fit demands to the Police! He wont be arrested. The coat was bought for him by his partner, so it will be his partner who will get questioned. Apparently it is a vintage coat, from the 1920s, so its doubtful anyone will be fined, as in the twenties it was legal to import and sell the coats. No doubt Pete will eventually get the coat back and the furore will die down. Hopefully.:glare: Bella 21-01-2006, 11:00 PM Oh dear, that is a shame. Pandora 21-01-2006, 11:05 PM Oh dear, that is a shame. Bet that's a colobus monkey your avatar is wearing......:sly: :w00t: Bella 21-01-2006, 11:07 PM Arrrghhh!! You could knock me down with a feather if it is! :shocking: Swan feathers that is! |
