so rumor has it that some record companies have already contacted BB about trying to release Chantelle's 'single' once she gets out of the house. Question is, would you buy it?

I have to say I probably would if not just purely for the humor of it....and sadly I didn't think the song was too bad when I heard it!! Although Chantelle would certainly need to take a few singing lessons before ever trying to release it. lol.

Your thoughts?

I wouldn't - but that's nothing to do with Chantelle; it's just not my kind of music!

Me neither I'm afraid. Too 'bubble-gum pop' for my liking.

I wouldn't buy it - but I don't buy singles anyway - I bet there are plenty who would buy it!

Good lord... no way. Then again, I'm not even sure what she sounds like, the whole performance was another one of those moments where I retreated behind the sofa with my fingers in my ears, cringing uncontrollably.

I have a feeling it was pretty dire, though. But does anyone remember that bubblegum pop duo 'Shampoo'? They did quite well... in Japan, at least. I think there might be a tone-deaf Asian market out there for her to exploit.

You're brave Islandman. I actually thought that it wasn't a bad song either and reworked in a studio could probably be quite catchy. I wasn't brave enough to say so though, until you did :)

I wouldn't buy it though but then I don't buy 'em anyway, I get them from kind people who share them on the internet :)

Lol...well i'm glad someone else agrees with me! ;)

And I usually get mine the same way too...lol...but will buy certain singles if they are especially memorable or something.

Lol...her performance was pretty funny...as she definitely could NOT sing. But I'm sure they could play around with her voice enough to make it sound decent on a single.

I agree and would add, when did you have to be able to sing to make a record? Even Jordan had the nerve to try for the Eurovision Song Contest :)
