Three guy's go for a curry and the bill comes to 30 quid, they each give the waiter a tenner and he put's it in the till. The manager takes out a fiver in pound coins and gives them to the waiter telling him to give it to the three guy's as a discount. Walking accross to the guy's table the waiter slips two quid in his pocket and hands each guy a pound each back.
Therefore................
Three guys each paid a tenner (total £30) but each got a pound back, which means they only paid £9 each - 3 times £9 is £27, if you add the £2 the waiter has in his pocket that totals £29 - Where is the other £1 ???
