Has anyone got nerve to try out for it? Do you know of anyone who has ever gone for the audition? I really wouldn`t like someone watching me 24/7 and all the people watching saying "I used to go to school with her" etc etc. Definelty not for me.
Could it be you though?

That wouldn't particularly bother me, but I couldn't get the time off work and I think my family might not be too chuffed.
One of my "skeletons" would be bound to blab; that would be my only fear.

My daughter, who's 14, says she's going ot apply when she's 18. I'm hoping it's all fizzled out by then!

I'm tempted, i really really am. But the thought of me sitting on that orange sofa pondering just how many people are sat at home in front of the telly muttering "HE IS ONE UGLY BAST*RD!" slightly dissuades me from applying...
I think there would be people who would love to spend a weekend in that house - without the camera invasion. I'd like to. And perhaps while the house is vacant from now until the normals enter, and then from the moment the last normal departs until the celebs return, there might be possibilities of leasing the premises out, with the cameras operating (though obviously not broadcast live on tv!) enabling the "holidaymakers" to go home and then edit their own personal verision of Big Brother.
Not as daft as it sounds.
And then you could also have a Big Brother National Lottery in which ten complete strangers are drawn out of a hat by ohh, i don't know, Antonia da Sanchez or someone of that ilk, all thrown in together every weekend, cameras watching their every move - just like the real thing, but yet again, not broadcast on tv ('cos that would be ultra-boring). Obviously they'd have to vote one another out rather than having any public involvement and at times it would become quite farcical (they could just handpick a Geordie bloke each week from Newcastle's Metro Centre and offer him £250 to do the commentary for three days and nights)...but it would make some money for the producers to refurbish the house, make it look less cold and uninviting, and make some cash available for them to install some bunk beds. Which leaves me asking the question - what the hell happened to the Bez's bunkbed from last year? Maybe it's on ebay as we speak...

a girl I work with would really love to be in the big brother house. I've told her she is far too normal to ever get passed the first audition!
I would do it if I lost 6 stones and my parents weren't alive to witness it!!

No it's not for me thanks, it would be like living in a bloody nut house and of course i am like a schizophrenic bat when suffering from PMT- it would'nt be a pretty sight.

I did kind of let my imagination run riot for a while and pictured myself as the "token oldie" in the house but then I came back to reality and decided it would be far too intrusive and I'm not a strong enough character to (a) provide much interest and (b) take all the criticism and nastiness that would inevitably be generated.
No, I think you have to be very brave to put yourself in the spotlight like that.
I know the celebs get money for just going in there but am I right in thinking that only the winner gets any money on the non-celeb BB?

he'd consider anything to get away from you and the kids wouldn't he!
If this had been about when I was in my 20's with hair down to my ****, a trim size 10 and normal wind I would have done it.
Patsy....I wouldn't say a word......and vice versa I hope.
