I don't think he was I think he was having such a lovely time with Chantelle that he didn't want it to end and seeing his girl friend made him realise that he has to face up to the fact the he dosn't like her any more and wants to be with Chantelle and he is out of the bubble and is going to have to face and deal with this....not nice.

If truth be known I would rather he won than her. Sweet as she is I just dont' want her to win.

I've only just watched this as I was out for the evening and had to tape it. I was at a friends house who doesn't watch tv so I was quite twitchy waiting to get home to see it.

I think the result was a good one loved gutted Preston and he did, as others have said, come across as an arrogant little prick on the night.

Although not a fan of MB it was nice that he got a good reception and seemed so pleased with himself glad he didn't win though.

I think this must surely be the end for celeb Big Brother ... they're not going to volunteer to go up against some air head from Essex and risk losing to a "nobody".

I must have been watching someone else I think because I thought Preston was a nice bloke and just looked a bit uncomfortable, probably because he knew he had to face his girlfriend. I didn't think he looked shifty or peed off, just very embarrassed at having to watch his antics with Chantelle over and over with his g/f standing a few feet away.

I'm glad she won. She wasn't crude, lewd, argumentative, bitchy, nasty, aggressive, grudge bearing, bossy, too sweetie-sweetie, selfish, up-herself, surgically enhanced or dehanced. Just even-tempered and happy all the way through and I particularly like the fact that she stood up to the likes of George, Dennis and Michael. So there. I just hope she stays away from Jodie.

Having said that - you can have all the general knowledge in the world, have a vast knowledge of politics (George) or have a degree from Harvard (Traci) and have nothing else. You've got to ask yourself which is better. Chantelle was straightforward, down to earth, moral and just got on with it - a classic Big Brother winner really, because it's enough to set her apart from all the other sh*t that went on in there.

We can gloss over the fact she looked like Paris Hilton.

Totally agree PJ, the man is horrible, and although I was not a Jodie fan by any means his treatment of her was apalling, that was all forgotton and now he is going to make a comeback. It is a travesty. I didnt know anyone that liked Barrymore so I was very shocked to see Preston 4th and him 2nd.

I have to ever so slightly agree with PJ here. Barrymore did kind of bully Jodie. Really if you are going to confront someone and try to pick an argument with them, then you should really give them at least one opportunity to respond to the allegations you are throwing at them, not just accuse them and then tell them to shut up repeatedly.

yeh I thought it was pretty much bullying. First of all the prick made sure that he had back up in the shape of George and Rula (sitting on the chairs like three sad middle aged witches) and then he set about Jodie on the flimsiest of reasons which when they were presented to him by Faria in the ktichen Jodie wasn't even in the same room. And as far as I can remember Chantelle had said the same things about the quorn, in fact Chantelle had been more vocal if anything (well on the edited version).

Barrymore only picked on Jodie cos he had validation from others who should have known better, that it was OK to do so. Without that back up I doubt that Barrymore would have said anything to Jodie, at the time he was crying every five bleeding minutes and would have probably just gone off to have a quiet sob in front of some discreete camera.

Oh Cat, when he kicked off at her in the bedroom over the quorn he attacked and bullied her. She wasn't even in the kitchen and someone made some remark about Jodie and Chantelle saying something about the meat-eaters eating the veggie food and Barrymore took it upon himself to have a unnecessary go at Jodie. I am not a Jodie's best fan but his attack was unnecessary and the fact that he did not have a go at Chantelle clearly showed that he had it in for Jodie.

Michael Barrymore got 2nd place due to George Galloway - if MB had not stood up to George or if George had not been so nasty & vile then I think he may well have further down the placings.

I was out last night - what reaction did Pete get from the crowd and how was he with Davina?

Barrymore definitely bullied Jodie - even though she may be the most annoying person on the planet she didn't deserve what she got from him. He did calm down and, towards the end, almost came over as a presentable human being.

Totally agree, but i think that the second is the biggest travesty.
Up until the point that Bullymoore "stood up" to George his interview would have been very different. How can one incident make you go from villain to hero. Short memories folks.
