OMG I just finished watching the first episode! That was sooo weird but awesome at the same time! :w00t: And for once, Channel 7 didn't lie. We DID find out what was under the island in the first three minutes. Actually in the first 5 seconds really:kid:

When I went to download the second series, for some reason I couldn't get the first episode so I got the 2nd one. Well it just seemed to pick up from the end of the first series so I thought it was probably all recap on what happened in the first series.

I decided to get it anyway the other day (despite now being up to Episode 11) and I watched it. The only thing I missed out on really was all the stuff about Jack's past. The rest of it is pretty much shown in flashback anyway in future episodes.

I've got episode 12 now to watch when I have time but as I'm now up to date with the second series being aired in the States I have to wait each week til someone shares the next one.

I'm still loving it but I have to say that some of the episodes are quite exciting and some of them just seem like "padding" without much really happening. I'm totally addicted though :)

My mum thought it was a bit over board with the whole thing down in the hatch

I know what you mean about some of the episode being 'padding' Crit.
I find the episodes I like are the ones dealing with the characters I like.

I LOVED the Hurley episode...I think it was the 3rd or 4th in the new series.
I thought it was magnificent.The flash back...the island part.
The way he dealt with his 'chore'.
I just thought...'ahhhhh...he is lovely.And that's EXACTLY the way to deal with that situation'.

I love LOST so much.I dont' watch any other series like it at all...the only other show I follow is 'Desperate Housewives', and the two are totally different.
I know people say Lost ain't as good as '24' etc etc...
But I just watch it on it's own merit and I just LOVE it.
The episodes in the second series are more to my taste than the first ones.
I think it's very clever.

I've just watched Episode 13 of Series 2 which I am painstakingly downloading week by week now because I am up to date with the USA.

It's getting harder and harder to get the latest episodes but I'm so far in front now that I just have to have the next one :) I don't suppose this will be the last (does anyone know?) or will there be a third season, a fourth etc.

I think it's now like a "soap". No real story with a beginning middle and end, they just write the episodes week to week and one day it will just stop (if the ratings drop) and we'll be none the wiser!!!

I titled it "soap" from the beginning. It had the start of a soap and now it will keep going until we all stop and think, hang on. They have a theme park in a cloud above the island??? lol

I'm up as far as 12..(downloads) and LOVING it.
I've never been soooo into a tv programme in my life.
I am also watching the second series as it is being shown on Irish tv, and even tho' for me it's repeats...I am GLUED to each episode.

Oooh I'm so happy. Episode 14 of 2nd series Lost aired last night in the USA and I have already downloaded 59% of it and I should have it all in about 2 hours :D Can't wait.

I wasn't getting anything on Limewire so I searched around and found another site which is very complicated and uses Torrents :wacko: but I think I've muddled my way through it. (Also getting last nights ep of Invasion so it will be a double delight if I get them both and they are what they say they are). Some idiots like to put the wrong labels on things as I said before. It's really annoying when you wait like 4-6 hours for a download and it's not what it says :(

Just watched the 3rd episode, I see that John and Jack will be pressing the button from now on! And by the way, that video they watched made no sense and even if they watched it again, I think it would answer nothing!!!

Nobody is to be trusted, now anyway. That girl DOES look familiar so maybe she was on the plane but chose to join another group. I don't even think it's the same island to be perfectly honest... Maybe the group that we've been following are indeed, the bad ones. Maybe the Swan station is balancing out the island but then another station on the other island stopped and now everything is bad. The magnetic waves coming from that EXACT part of the island brought the plane down and got them stranded on the island... The back half broke off because it got attracted to to "Other's Island". All very confusing at the moment!

Just my thoughts though :laugh:

There have been several (well I can think of 2 actually) programs that have been shown over here, only to stop before the ending. There are 2 possible reasons.

1. The show wasn't popular enough over here so they dropped it. (Beauty and the Beast was such a show I think, Catherine who falls in love with a half man half lion, Vincent). Have since found out that they have now released it all on DVD about (15?) years later.

2. The show wasn't popular enough in the States so they never finished it (Now and Again with Eric Close - Fat man gets pushed off platform and his brain gets transplanted into a young fit bloke's body as some kind of government experiment). Running again on E4 (I think) but what's the point if it has no ending?

So, Lost could fall into either of those categories and we would either never know what it was all about or we would have to wait 15 years to find out!! At my age, that's not funny :(

Just watched episode 4 and I now have my favourite characters!

Rose, Hurley and Charlie :) (I also like Hurley's mum!)

I was sooo happy for Rose, her husband is alive! But I expected that black guy to be her husband :laugh:

I'm glad that most of the characters are coming back.

The Aussie chick, the sister of that guy that died, The Asian lady ( I suck with names) etc.

The end bit of this episode was rather boring, just about 10 minutes of them eating food and laughing... :bored: But the trailer for next weeks episode looks awesome... THE OTHERS ARE COMING! :blink:
