Very good. The reason it works is that whichever number you pick eg. if you picked 82 then minus 10 you go to 72...if you pick 83 minus 11 it goes to 72 and so on and the symbols by the numbers change each time. Hope that makes sense, I know what I mean I just can`t explain things very well.

That's amazing. I don't understand your explanation at all SB.

Whatever number you pick, you always end up with a multiple of 9. If you check the symbols for 9, 18, 27 and so forth, they are all the same. Then when you reclick to try again, it's a different set of symbols!

Aha now I get it.

Yeah, what fee says

It's easy to check it out. Forget about doing one number, check out lots of them and you will see that your answers all come up with the same symbol on that turn. The cleverest bit is who thinks them up and programs them.

So its not magic then?

So its not magic then?

no but this is
if you times any number by nine and then add the numbers together they always add up to nine

eg 9 x 500 = 4500 4+5+0+0 = 9

eg 9 x 500 = 4500 4+5+0+0 = 9

eg 4 x 45 = 180 1 + 8 = 9

ooh er

eg 9 x 7442 = 6678 = 6 + 6 + 7 + 8 += 27. divided by 3 = 9.

WOW.

That is magic.

Any more??

That's right, Cockers.

Also, Catflap, in your accounting capacity, if you are ever trying to balance some figures and the amount you are "out" by is divisible by 9, that means that you (or someone else) have transposed a number somewhere.

i.e. 38 or 83, difference is 45, which is divisible by 9. Do you see?

There's your problem Jakey. If you get the sum right then it guesses it right
