ANDY
Andrea 20-02-2006, 01:24 PM Yay, well done Andy:thumbsup:
Somehow I think this summer Henman hill will turn into Murray's mound:w00t:

Let's hope so - the sooner Henman is ousted from the game, the better!
Dolores 20-02-2006, 09:54 PM I know you share my immense (and I freely admit) irrational dislike of Tim, PJ!
Do you think we will be united in our dislike of Murray? he is a miserable, moody little git isn't he!
Coastie 21-02-2006, 07:52 AM Yay...yet another highly successful Scot...must be something to do with the dental care they receive right Peej! :w00t:

I am not sure I dislike him, but he is a miserable, moody little git isn't he.
Maybe it's his age or maybe it's because he comes from north of the border :ninja::wink2:

Yes, he has no personality whatsoever!
And Coastie - but of course!
Coastie 22-02-2006, 07:14 AM I am always more than happy when Henman gets knocked out of Wimbledon etc...can't stand the aroggant little prick!
However...Murray...I'm still looking to get a handle on the guy...I haven't taken an instant dislike to him and indeed, although a little miserable, he seems alot more likeable than Tim...also he always tries to sign autographs etc for his fans as he remembers what it was like when he was a kid and his hero walked straight past him and refused to sign his book at a tournament even though he easily could have done. So I like that quality in the lad.
tiggs 22-02-2006, 01:42 PM They should rename Henman Hill to Murray Field - which also has a Scottish ring to it...
Tim has a tennis court in his house in Oxfordshire which he's never used - but then the Grand Slam venues have finals which he's never used as well...
If you ever go out for a drink with Tim make sure he buys the first load, as you can never be sure of him being there after the first round :D
Andy Murray was in the school at the time that Thomas Hamilton massacred all those children in back in the 90s, so he has been classed by some papers as a 'survivor of the Dunblane massacre'...
Aondeag 10-03-2006, 12:49 PM OOOOH that French dad who doped all his daughter's opponents.
Did you hear about that.
What a horrible...stupid.....vile man.
I don't remember his name but he was so eager for his daughter's tennis career to progress that he drugged a lot of her opponents. One of them tragically fell asleep at the wheel of his car as a result of this, and died.
:-((((
Dispicable.
maxine 10-03-2006, 01:01 PM Yeah, terrible. You often hear about tennis parents like this - well not to this extent - but really driven to see their child succeed.
Aondeag 10-03-2006, 01:04 PM Yes..it's just so horrible.Don't think i've ever come across a case like this before, where the parents actions results in death.
The little girl involved in all the beauty queen contests in American was along the same lines, i guess.
She was forced to grow up waaay before her time and dress in ridiculous outfits and perform etc etc.
And she was found brutally (and suspiciously) murdered in her parents home.
:-((
