Ok, it's been on for 15 mins and already I hate the HR Manager with the curly hair...all the 'oh my god's!!!!' are already grating on my nerves.

Same as the above except I think Ben was too weak to have lasted very long he looked like he was about to burst into tears all the time. The fuzzy curly haired girl can't think of her name got on my ti*ts even more than Sayed. She is bound to make waves as is he.

Good start though I was riveted and even managed to get Mr M watching.

My early tip for the top is Karen, I thought she explained the girls strategy very clearly and calmly (is that how you spell that??).

Pretty much agree with what everyone else has said.

Fuzzy haired Jo definately needs to get some decorum, even I know you don't scream like a kid whose just got their favourite toy, in the board room when you've won.

And yes, Sayeed, bolshy, mouthy, does say what AS wants to hear. But I think AS likes the bolshy ones, but he will have had enough of him in a few weeks.

I thought it was a bit mean of AS to have a go at the girls though.
They showed their initiative at getting free fruit.
I bet if they had turned it down AS would have had a go at them for that.

Good show though.

Agree with the two much kicking a fuss with Jo, Sayeed does seem two face, I know for a fact from his name what he's about(no I'm not insulting background, just correlating with personal experiences)

A pity the Team leader was fired as well. AS seems to be the same nutter I think he is,Compare him to Donald Trump who is soft-spoken, make his point but does not curse as much as AS, God is it his upbringing, hey they are both rich, but as persons, boy what a damn difference!

Anyone's game, can't see any favourites yet:boxing:

I was quite impressed that a couple of the girls wore "sensible" shoe to the boardroom! Last year they were utterly ridiculous tottering about on four inch heels.

of course Jo the irritating HR woman is completely off the wall. a manic depressive if ever i saw one ... and all that pointing at Sir Alan ... I've never seen the likes before!!!

Do any women (esp of that age) really jump up and down like a loony, whooping and punching the air every time something remotely interesting happens? I think not.

Definitely NOT a candidate for Sir Alan's Apprentice, but definite a candidate for the loony bin!

I don't think I liked any of them particuarly, and I thought those girls flashing their wobbly bits need bringing down a peg or two ...maybe being made to stand in a room with women who really are attractive and behave with decorum would do that!

The men all seemed so big headed or too modest to be true.

Think Sir Alan chose the right guy to go. Let's pick off the weedy ones and keep the nutters ... Jo and Sayed! Pity we can't phone in otherwise I'd make sure Sir Alan ended up with one of them!!!

I watched this for the first time this morning and just loved it. Hated both Jo and Sayeed, lets hope they both stay a while.

I did feel sorry for Ben but I don't think he was cut out for the job, just too nice.

I will definitely be watching again. I only wish I had watched the 1st series now.

OhMyGod!! That Jo woman!! Eeeek!! What a nightmare!! SQUEAL!!

Sorry to see the Team Leader guy go - I'd have sacked the prawn that couldn't tell the difference between pounds and kilos. I thought Sir A was a bit harsh putting the women team on the spot the way he did. They did exactly what he asked - maximised their profit. He didn't say anything in his instructions about having to pretend the shoppers were Dixons buyers, or whatever. But thank goodness they've got some decent female contestants this year.

What an annoying woman! The way she kept springing about like Zebedee from the Magic Roundabout and punching the air. Keep her in!!!!

Yer woman jo is a right loony alright. Maybe even bi-polar. Think Karen is the most level headed and intelligent. Sayid is a tosser. Paul seems quite likeable. Michelle is a tough cookie and could be there a while.

so far am liking the girls more than de boize.

great start - glad it's back.

Surprised when Ben went, especially after how well he came across in the team naming session. MInd you he did fall to pieces in front of Sugar in the boardroom, no doubt the kiss of death. I reckon Sugar has a fair idea right from the start of the series who he doesn't want and he uses whatever old argument he likes to justify the firing.

This is my first full on experience of the Apprentice...I was truely inspired by you all (particualarly Dol) to watch it and I have to say I am thankful to you...I really enjoyed it as did the lodger.

Fantastic viewing

I can see me remaining neutral on the Alan Sugar front...respect for getting where he is today but he seems a bit full of himself...

The girls definately used all their assests in the 1st challenge and I though that the way Alan solved his issues in the end was good. He simply realised that free fruit or otherwise the girls still would have won!

Felt a bit gutted for Ben as he was slightly railroaded into taking charge of the first challenge and I thought straight off he seemed a bit nice to work for Sir Sugar...Samuel is a whinny little jerk, Sayed good viewing but needs taking down a peg or two...liked the quieter Asian guy who came up with the boys team name...he just seemed to get on with the job. The guy who sold the apple for £3 certainly had the gift of the gab although if he had come knocking at my door telling me to go find more money I would have shoved his apple up his bottom! :boxing:

That big black guy just makes me laugh...sorry but he looks like a club bouncer and I can't take him seriously...

I can see some real bit chiness in some of the ladies so it will be interested to see how that will develop.

Great start to the new series - I even liked the companion program on BBC3 "You're Fired" where they interviewed Ben.

Agree with what has been said above - Jo and Sayed irritatted me - Jo more than Sayed. Sayed has great potential to be entertaining.
No one else really stood out for me with the exception of Paul, who managed to go round selling apples for £2.50 each.

I've finally got round to watching this!

The most annoying gperson for me was Jo, with her 'oh my god' every 5 minutes and just getting over excited. The tears at the end were the final nail in the coffin for me. I would think Sir Alan will be firing her at the first opportunity.

Sayed just came across as a bit dim. I mean, 'The A-Team'? Hardly very original or mature!

Felt sorry for Ben and thought that the rest of them were very disloyal. Surely that's going to put anyone off being the project manager.

No-one's really stood out for me so far but it's early days.

I found myself comparing the contestants to last years. He was like so and so etc etc. I saw Sir Alan on GMTV and they were saying it was nice to see him smile. Sir Alan then replied that the film crew edit out all the scenes where he is smiling saying it`s just a waste of film to them.
