I've been in business for 10 years now, it was cool when you own it. But out there in the real world where you have to interact with different characters it's a different ballgame.
Looking at the your fired show after the Apprentice, there were interesting insights. Mani, Paul, Sayeed in the cab talked about nothing but backstabbing their teammates.Who they think did this and that not to their satisfaction. In personal terms, I find that the best colleagues were in the fields of banking, telecoms. Some of the really crappy ones were in housing associations and councils, had some real good friends as well, but hey. that was suprising that there will always be those who want to step or crush others to go on top.
It's a dog eat dog world in business, but I still believe in what Jerry Maguire said(played by Tom Cruise) having ethics in business will lead to greater things
