If there is a party I haven't been invited either Kooks...

This has happened a fair bit lately...lots of people on line...however I think most of them slink rapidly off to the chat room as they don't post much!

Hello Bonsai,

Hello again PJ,

Is that the SO Webchat thing, if so I opened it once and didn't know what I was doing and came immediately out. I think you need another password or something, I don't know looks complicated, for an IT dimwit like me.

Yes, PJ is talking about the SO WebChat. It really is easy peasy. Be brave! Just click SO Webchat and then click "So Webchat" button and you're in. Type and then press return and it appears for all to see immediately.

Coastie - why can't you enter? Is it because of work? Is so, I may have a way around it if you're prepared to go against your employers computer usage policy!

it's because she is watching the coastline and saving all our souls from peril on the sea!!!

get back on your lookout post Coastie!http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/7/7_2_126.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYAXGB)

Actually she came round my house once and went on chat ... she was hilarious. She spent so long typing and looking down at the keybaord that by the time she'd finished what she was saying all reference to it had scrolled out of view! she reminded me of the dog off the muppets who plays the piano looking at the keyboard all the time and occasionally looking up and tossing his ears!!! ... not that I'm say that she has big ears ... or indeed is a dog!!

Hello Haydon and PJ,

I did it. So how many can it cope with on line at any one time?
Just being nosey now, I'm curious.

BTW I have also noticed an increase in the numbers posting via quick links of late. It would be nice if that could stay up. The number of threads in coffee this month is astounding, so there's no excuses for not posting and letting your presence be known.
