Clean a Toilet Bowl
Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl. Let the real thing sit for one hour, then brush and flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.

Remove Grease from Clothes
Empty a can of Coke into a load of greasy work clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular wash cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains.

Remove Rust Spots from Chrome Car Bumpers
Rubbing the bumper with a crumpled-up piece of aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola will help remove rust spots.

Loosen a Rusted Bolt
Applying a cloth soaked in a carbonated soda to the rusted bolt for several minutes.

Clean Corrosion from Car Battery Terminals

I have used it to wash out the toilet bowl, I was given this tip from someone (might have been Kim & Aggie) and I can highly recommend it, it really does work! :good:

And I have used Ham in Coke and Ham in Cherry Coke, I cook it differently but the end result is delicious. In fact I haven't had this for ages, might just make this for Sunday dinner!

I always find that if I am going to be sick if I drink coke it doesn`t seem so bad and quite often settles my stomach. My daughter makes a lovely chocolate coke cake.

I've been to a resturaunt where their steaks were cooked in cola (also seen this on gordon ramsays program recently) and they were brilliant.

Like bellybops I have also done many a ham in coke, but I have never cleaned the toilet - and Seabreeze, can you get your daughters choccie coke cake - sounds pretty interesting?? [you could put it in the share recipe thread].

I'd heard about cleaning the toilet with coke and was going to do this the other week.
Hubby piped up, isn't it a bit expensive, why not just put some bleach down it!

Before Coca Cola became a soft drink, Im sure it was used as a medicine to settle stomachs? So maybe that is why you feel better Seabreeze. Ive been told that sipping flat coke (although it probably is horrible), is one of the few things that people with stomach bugs can hold down. It replaces lost sugars and rehydrates.

It was after we had a party and there was left over Cola in a HUGE bottle and it was a bit flat, so rather than pour it down the sink it went down the toilet and worked a treat!
