He's OK cos I still see him logging in on Messenger but he doesn't chat to me unless I message him. The last time I did that he came back as ...--- .- :(

He wanted a name change but didn't get one.

Shall I tell him that you're missing his posts Bridge? :smartie:

If he comes back properly and doesn't use the fact that he's 'still a kid' to get away with inappropriate posts then I will by all means welcome him back.
However, if he returns with more morse code nonsense or anything else to that effect then he can stay away, imo.

It did seem a bit drastic, her leaving the board. But a break is when you stop posting for a while I'd have thought - having your account deleted seems more than a break, more like a termination, surely?

And out of interest, who are these folk who would throw it back in her face when it suited them if she came back?

I still see him logging in and out on Messenger but I'm not sure whether to contact him or not. He did seem to be on a mission to be the last poster on every thread last time he was here which was a bit irritating. He never used to be like that, only used to post when he had a reasonable point of view or comment and was surprisingly mature for his age.

Did you know him before SO then Crit ... as i thought he had always been like that ? I did find his style of posting irritating. As you say he felt the need to post in every thread even though he knew nothing about the subject matter - or he just said 'LOL'.

There are many subjects/threads i know nothing about - so i dont write in them.

But having said that he was occasionally fun to have around, but most of the time i didnt read the threads that he had posted in.

It is cruel, and im sorry - but i persoanally dont miss him.

I was never really comfortable with him being on here, as you all probably know, but accepted that he was entitled under Haydon's rules. I found his prolific, inane posting style very irritating and don't think that he actually added anything to the forum. I'm sure he's a very nice, clever boy and will be very popular in a more appropriate forum.

Sorry, just being honest.

So who was <Spike> - his other cousin??

I'll say this for him, the boy does have a good imagination.
One of his personas was a grade 3 vegan who had just won a lot of money and who covered his face in public.
And the other was a KFC scoffing homosexual who was going to get married to his boyfriend when it was legal.
I don't know wether to find all this impressive or worrying.

I'd find it more impressive than worrying.
I'd say when he gets licked into shape, he will use his powers for good rather than evil.

He says that Fink was his cousin using a laptop and his internet connection.

If that were the case he would have had a different IP address, so Haydon wouldn't have been able to be sure they were the same person.

Anyway, he's gone now, so, like, whatever. :pimp:

It's all good practice for the next Masked Ball :D

I knew Spike was Jakey and I first thought that Fink was but I think on one of the postings where they were arguing I noticed the time difference was a bit tight for logging out and logging in as someone else (and could you really be bothered) so I don't really know if it was him and his cousin mucking about or just him. Floopy says you get a different IP address on a laptop even if you're using the same ISP. So seems it must have been Just Jakey.

All that stuff about wearing a mask and being a vegan, etc. comes from a website that he gave me a link to.

I don't suppose anyone is the slightest bit interested but just in case here's the link that he gave me

http://www.thenetworkband.com

Takes ages to load so I only glanced at the first masked character and it was "Fink" lol.

I must have a warped sense of humour. I thought it was quite funny the way he was arguing with himself :)

You must Crit, :wink2: I found it a bit pathetic to be honest.

Hello Groucho,

Oh bless. Let's hope he doesn't resort to that. The computer was an easily accessible plaything for him. I've been hoping Haydon would relent. But still the inventiveness of logging in with all these characters has me intrigued.

Maybe we should continue to watch this space. We wouldn't want to freeze him out or do we?:cold:

Mo, he and his alter egos have been banned. Haydon has told us in several different threads. Do keep up dear.
