View Full Version : Alien Autopsy - Ant & Dec to hit the big screen
Haydon 23-03-2006, 10:31 PM Ant and Dec are trying their luck at Hollywood now. Yes, the cheeky chappie duo are staring in a Hollywood film called "Alien Autopsy". Made by Warner Bros it puts the two northerners as the lead characters in a film about the hoax alien autopsy footage that we've all seen hundreds of times before.
I hadn't heard anything about this until I spotted a link over at MSN.
This trailer gives me hope that it might actually be pretty good....

I saw a trailer for this at the cinema.
Personally I think I'll avoid it like the plague since these two seem to be getting too big for their boots now.
Fee For All 24-03-2006, 03:41 PM I think it looks good - but then so did Sean of the Dead and the League of Gentleman's Apocalypse, and I was disappointed with both of those.
I'll give it a go though - I still like Ant'n'Dec!
Dolores 24-03-2006, 04:20 PM oh dear! i hope it doesn't go the way of the Morcombe and Wise classic about the foreign legion, straight down the http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_2_10.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001_ZSYYYYYYAXGB)

Coastie 25-03-2006, 11:20 AM I will be giving it a miss...totally not my thing!:glare:
Fee...'Sean of the Dead' was fantastically hillarious! :w00t: I wasn't going to bother with it until a freind insisted I watch it...I cracked a rib I laughed so hard!
Well I didn't "avoid it like the plague" after all and went to see it tonight and.....actually really enjoyed it.
Very intresting story and Ant and Dec weren't as bad as I thought.
It's pretty funny.
Fee For All 05-04-2006, 08:54 PM I shall watch this on the strength of your recommendation, you toothsome Crown Prince of Kilsyth.

LOL..me too. The King Of the Molar has my vote.
I love Ant and Dec.
MariaRob 07-04-2006, 10:34 AM I knew about this as they were interviewed on Jonathan Ross. I do agree that they seem to be getting too big for their boots and seem to becoming a little silly? Giggling like schoolboys when they both seemto be losing their fresh faced appeal and are beginning to age (especially Ant of the tall forehead).

This is exactly why I went right off them. They seem unable to present a show without constantly giggling at their own personal little jokes, or looking and laughing at what's going on behind the camera. It all gets rather tiresome.
Seabreeze 08-04-2006, 04:46 PM hmmmm not sure about this film. Have seen the previews and am not impressed. Will wait till it comes round on sky and may watch it then
maxine 09-04-2006, 11:48 AM Much as I love Ant and Dec, I have a very bad feeling about this one. I reckon it'll be a bit of a turkey but would love to be proved wrong.
bridge 09-04-2006, 05:48 PM I love Ant and Dec but i probably will give the film a miss, then again.........................................
Coastie 11-04-2006, 10:41 AM I saw the making of on the TV the other day and well...still can't get myself enthused about going to see it! :(
Dolores 11-04-2006, 04:30 PM I went to watch this today and I have to say it was very good, very thought provoking.
The whole story had completely passed me by in 1995 and watching this film has made me want to find out more about it all.
Ant and Dec were both very good too.
We only went to see it cos we couldn't get into see Ice Age 2.
