Yikes! Sorry to hear that. It's bad here, but not so bad you can't go out. The fence at the back has been ripped down, I think next door own it. The man across the street woke up to find his wheely bin on top of his new BMW. The fire brigade are clearing the rubble from a street around the corner where a chimney has come down. This is the first Satrurday I have had off in three months and I didn't sleep a wink last night and woke up so grumpy and late too.

I am having a very cold glass of white wine (would share with you Dol if I could), to sooth my burning throat (ils - take back the boast about not having a cold this winter) and watching Winnie the Pooh - for the 3rd time today - with the Funkey Fredster of the loose Trotsky.

There is something about Winnie the Pooh that I find unholy, he makes my spine tingle and the hairs (and boils) on my neck stand to attention. He is an infiltrator from the other side and is in league with Cliff Richard and the Pope ... imho of course!

I agree about the film...why does Christopher Robin speak so posh and Pooh sounds like an old man.....but the story books are great, have been a favourite with all my boys..the funkey Shyster included.
