what did you do on your birthday?

Not a great deal, I went out for a very yummy Thai buffet with a friend, then in the evening my mum cooked my fave meal and a couple of friends called me.

I'm dreading getting weighed at WW today)...

Otherwise I was at work. My group got me a Virgin voucher (excellent, more fuel for my DVD obsession) and a nice card.

To lead a different life...... thought I would share that I go for therapy on Sunday mornings as part of my work support etc So if my head isnt sorted out now, it will be by this afternoon! I love going to see my therapist who lives by my favourite beach so I get to go there on Sundays too. And I have learned so much through this mode that it encourages me to continually be curious about people and life (my middle name!)

Ive just been to the market and as I was being served at a food stall, the woman beside me asked the stall holder, "How young are the olives?" That brought a giggle. I was listening to see what he was say in response and quite smoothly, in his Irishness, said "Now, you can't put an age on these beauties". So I have been chuckling at listening to other people shop.

Poor old Nat ... I bet even looking at his eggs will make him feel  ...what a day to be poorly ...hope he is better soon!

Right now I am just about to make a cup of coffee and then get in a lovely bath of radox and wash away my cares and the layer of filth that has attached itself to me after my early morning cycle along the beach front!

I have sympathy in abudance, until deprived of sleep. Feel better today, over my night with Cat and about to have my brekky.

I am now recovering from a mini panic!!

Yes as predicted I got all confused about the clocks going back/forward/sideways. I have an 11 o'clock church service [I will go alone so Mr F can stay with poorly boy and lazy boy], but as I convinced myself yesterday that the service was at 10 [cos of the time change??]. So at 10 to 10 I got myself into a mini panic. But I am fine now ...

Am currently wondering how some people ever got to be teachers.

Today Year 9 are having a careers day, there are no year 9 lessons. So far 4 teachers have asked why their year 9 lessons havent been covered.

Simple enough you'd think, wouldn't you?- no students, no lessons, no cover.

Pah, pesky stoopid people do my nut.

Also, have just walked out of an office leaving two senior members of teaching staff frantically trying to add up 3 * 160 in their heads and both coming up with two separate, wrong, answers.
