Back from the doctors, nothing wrong with said son. A bit of a habit has developed we think, specimen sent off tho.

About to cook tea...Steak and mushroom pie (buy one get one free - we are having this twice this week), left over cauliflour cheese from yesterday, mashed pots, broccolli and lashings of gravy.

Good evening.

I'm updating technology reports for year 9 - it's very dull . Here, see:

General Report

Design and Technology is taught to all pupils at Key Stage 3, through acquiring knowledge, skills and understanding in subject areas of Food, Graphics and Resistant Materials.

The aim of Food Technology in Year 9 is to develop pupils’ understanding and skills in designing and making meals to meet different dietary needs. The project work involves Bread and Pizza making and Traditional dishes.

In Graphics, pupils further develop theri skilss in isometric drawing and acquire new skills in perspective drawing and presentation techniques.

. The aim of Resistant Materials is to develop pupil’s research skills; they design and make a Maze Game using a combination of Plastic & Wood and a separate design and make a project on Accessories using a combination of plastic, wood & metal.

It's lovely having the log burner. We only have night storage heaters which aren't brilliant for keeping the house at a constant temperature, boiling in the morning and cold in the evening. So we hardly use the heaters and just fire up the log burner every day, lovely:)

Just had a panic moment at work.

I always look after the petty cash, and monthly do an expenses report. So i got out the tin ... and there was £40 missing !!!

So i went into the finance director and asked if he had borrowed some. He said no, and then spent 10 mins trying to remember if he had. He then asked if i had borrowed any ... so i said no, and spent 10 mins trying to remember if i had.

But then, on returning to my desk, i look at the last expenses form again ... and realise that i had read the wrong column and there was no money missing whatsoever :ninja: Silly me.

We were both so relieved as we were sure that we both thought the other one had nicked it

I have put a plastic box in there for 'live' dirty shoes - trainers, footy boots and wellies - the rest must go up into their rooms. I now have room for the hoover and buggy again. I am liking your idea of a shoe tower dab I don't like those wooden shoe shelves things and they also take up a lot of space, a tower could be tucked in a corner.

Hail dab, curber of the shoe population explosion.

Having one final cup of tea before I burst into action. Taking the boys to get some new school trousers and will hopefully pick up a pair of riduculously high black shoes to go with my posh frock that I will be wearing on saturday (my 40th birthday party ).

A little note of interest...the dress I will be wearing I bought when I was 22 :holiday:
