I am just watching a film on Channel 5 called Danger Island. I looked it up here

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0104049/

to see what it was about and if you click on See more user comments, somebody has made some interesting comparisons between this film and Lost (having updated their comments since Lost has been aired).

Apparently this film was made as a Pilot for a TV show in 1992 but the show didn't materialise. Not been on long so will judge for myself whether there is any connection.

Yeah, it sure is rubbish but I can see a lot of parallels with Lost. I have a feeling that this was the original pilot but was dumped and remade as Lost (but better of course).

With that sea creature though it's kind of "Lost meets Invasion" :)

I will stick it out just to see if there are any answers that might relate to Lost. Will watch Deal or No Deal at 6.10 on More 4 :)

Was that on late afternoon about 4 or 5 pm.
I'm sure it's the one I saw the beginning of.
I said to hubby it's lost revisted, or Coastie's Somba tale. Then I tried to explain to hubby about Coastie's stories every year and he just looked at me like this:wacko: but he was impressed I'm the chief engineer in this years story.
(that's what he did when he worked on private yachts and that is what he would love to go back and do, but he's got a family now and can't:laugh: )

Yes it was on in the afternoon Andrea. The similarities to Lost couldn't have been coincidence I don't think (the similarities to Coastie's tale probably were though ;) ).
