How is Syed still there?

Based on their performance in the task, Syed should've gone last night, not Sharon. Sharon was never going to win the show, but she wasn't the one who jeapordised the teams position!

Just how arrogant is Syed? The man becomes less likeable the more you see him. Why does he feel it necessary to say "I was brought up in the East End" all the time? He sometimes says this even when it is totally irrelevant to the situation. I get the impression that AS actually despises him, but can't see past the fact that he has some Sales abiility.

I saw a side to Paul last night which wasn't quite so likeable. I thoughthis arrogance towards Sharon was astounding! She had to ask him for an opportunity to sell something, and thn when she made a sale he was almost reluctant to actually give her any credit for it! And all the face-pulling behind her back. Paul - you let yourself down!

Favourite of the night for me was Ansell!

I agree, I just don't see how Syed the Snake Eyed Boy is still there, he is so full of :pooh: it is unbeleivable.

Didn't catch Paul pulling faces but I kept being interupted. I will watch it with full attention again later and report back in full.

I saw the face-pulling, but to be fair to Paul, Sharon has whinged her way through the whole series so far. She would have driven me mad. She moans that she's not given a chance and then won't make a decision when asked to (in Top Shop last week). Paul knows his strengths and others' weaknesses and he's not afraid to say so.

As SAS said, in the board room last night he had "the liar, the whinger and the planner". He was stuck between a rock and a hard place and the only reason Syed stayed was because he made a good sale at the end.

Ansell came out well last night, but Ruth and Paul are still favourites for me.

Syed should be taken, with a hood over his head, and dumped back in the East End, and leave them to sort him out. The man is beyond belief, I can't stand him.

Sharon shouldn't really have gone last night, she wasn't the worst on the task, but she is a whinger, totally and sulks when she doesn;t get her own way.

Syed should have gone for screwing up the last deal and losing his team 25% of their profit.

Oh and slightly off topic, did you hear that Ruth the Badger has split from her hubby and decided that she is a lesbian...

Yes. Did you not see IoW's thread yesterday? Mind you, it was slightly cryptic.

I'm looking forward to next week. They are tasked with letting property. Don't know whether it's residential or commercial, though. They were all in hard hats, so I'm guessing it's commercial.

I think if paul was chocolate he'd eat himself! what was that b/s to Sharon when he graciously let her close the deal and then said "I'd have done it for 16 not 12, I hope we don't loose by that amount" ... how staggeringly arrogant!

I also thought Ruth and Paul particulalry let themselves down after not getting a sale by being rude about the person who'd not bought from them.

Sayed is such a liar! such a liar! how AS is letting him get away with staying when he is in the boardroom is beyond me. The little gob****e needs to be stopped NOW! ... err where abouts is he from again? Who, ffs tell me who, is impressed that he comes from the East End?! Is trying for a part in Eastenders as the new slimey sales person on the car lot?!

Ruth is still the best of a very bad bunch for me ... but she is charmless, completely charmless.

Yuen is useless but I was annoyed with Sayed repeating SAS's phrase that Yuen was "a planner" ... Sayed's slimey sales training thinking if he says a phrase often enough it will be sublimely planted into SAS's mind! geez! I almost expect him to say "look into my eyes, not around the eyes, look into my eyes!!".

Still not letting any of 'em go to Asda's for my shopping!

Sayed is a lying, arogant,boring to$$er
Paul is sneaky, wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him, can't stand the man
Michelle and Yuen lumped together as I think they are both a bit weak and wishy washy and not really contributing much
Ansell hasn't annoyed me much but I hate his glasses
Ruth is feisty and hardworking seems to throw herself into every task but her bulldog looks and funny faces are off putting

I would pick Ruth or Ansell as my favourite but use the word loosely.

I did think that if Sayed hadn't gone for that last deal they would have lost anyway even though they lost a percentage is was a very big order, I was surprised no one mentioned this.

I was thinking I could create the Ansell look with mine, they are blue and a similar shape if I stuck small shells to the frames I think I could have acheived a recognisable look.

You could use snails, to give you 'living frames', that would get you noticed.

The only reason Syed is there is for viewing figures. He won`t win but people will tune in each week just to see him get fired

Thing is though. they made £2,000 from that last deal - far more than the 25% fine SAS slapped on them. In other words, Sayed was absolutely right to go for the deal - they'd have lost anyway without it.

Sayed made me laugh with his his "huge accident" excuse - he's just so naive. It's the oldest, lamest excuse in the book for being late - not in a million years was he going to win anyone over with it

Ruth and Paul remain way out in front. Sayed's got some pushy attitude and sales skills but if Margaret's the corporate lawyer I reckon she's not going to let SAS touch him with a bargepole. In any real contractual position the guy would be a nightmare.

You make a good point there, Mick. I think Sayed comes across as a bit dim. Makes you wonder at the calibre of the other people who applied but didn't make it this far.

Although Paul made me laugh with his silly faces it really put me off him. OK he's got bags of confidence but he doesn't come across as very loyal or trustworthy. Brought him down a peg or 2 when SAS told him what some of the dealers thought of him.

I have said this before. Make no mistake in thinking that the selection was based on calibre, it was based on people who want to be on tv because they believe it will make them rich with little effort. this lot would be on Big Brother given half a chance. Look at Sharon, she ..."lectured" at a made up 3 rate college in Falkirk, hardly the next big thing in Business! - this is for tv fun only and nowt else.

I watched this again this morning and agree with IOW.

Paul really did come across as an arrogant tosser.

But I ask.

If you are so successful and make millions, something has to give and the drive to do what you do side lines niceties - would you really care if people thought you were a bit of a **** when you had all of that money and they didn't.

Being extrememly successful costs...we each have our limits as to what we would forgo if our talents were of such to reach this point.
