I watched this last night - powerful stuff.......
I don't know what I expected - I was expecting a film rather than a documentary, and it wasn't really entertainment - but I'd recommend watching it.
Anyone else seen it?

I had gone to the video shop wanting to get 'The Day After Tomorrow', but they were all out. So we decided on Troy - they were all out too!!
It all worked out well though as next time I'll get Troy and The Day After Tomorrow free!

this is one film that I really want to see.
I still haven't watched his other film "bowling for columbine" yet either.
I'm hoping Father Christmas may have it in his sack for me:)

I'll be watching it on S4C (very obscure Welsh channel that for some strange reason we can pick up in these parts....well I can anyway)
They usually repeat Channel 4's schedule a few days after. It looks feckin' good!

Bowling for Columbine - Fantastic bar the Heston interview!
Farenheit 9/11 - Excellent bar the woman going on about her dead son!
Both incredibly insightful! :cool2:
Just a note:
If you enjoyed (if that's the right word) Bowling for Columbine...Might I suggest you also watch 'Elephant' - a low budget movie which approaches the subject from a slightly different perspective...mesmerising...and actually I rate it above BFC.... :cool2: :cool2:

I don't really know what to expect, but we'll both be watching, I'm really looking forward to it
Very good documentary. Some of the politics went straight over my head though. Still, it was eye-opening to say the least.

Blimey, this was powerful stuff indeed. I know it was one sided, but some of it just took my breath away, it was hard to believe what I was hearing/seeing at times. It was very sad too.
