Magic! Biggest musical disappointment of my life was when my mum discovered my plan to run off to the the Isle of Wight with my older cousin in 1970. She locked me in to stop me! (I was 13). Today I have been listening to Robert Plant's new album Mighty Rearranger which I loved. There is a Zeppelin feel to it, the musicians are top notch and Plant's voice is still strong. I also been playing the Cream compilation album. I used to like Cream, but haven't listened to them in a long time. I would have thought that their acid/psychedelic stuff might sound dated now but surprisingly it still sounds the business and very fresh.

My son and his g/f flew to Dublin for the U2 concert Aondeag. They had a fantastic time - hope you did too.

Glad your son and his girlfriend enjoyed the concert.I must admit I am still buzzing from it.It was spectacular.True-ly it was. Great weather...Great stadium, fantastic atmosphere and some of my fave U2 tracks. :whistling

My friend took her hubby to see him in Reading a few weeks ago TE, she said he was fantastic, she wasn't a fan before she went but she is now! I'm sure from what she said you will have a wonderful time :thumbsup:
