I suppose I will have to start a thread for him as he is my housemate. I am sure he will be entertaining now he has put some clothes on. Looks a bit geeky but harmless enough his mother must love him. I will continue to defend him come what may as per the rules.

i find nothing offensive about the boy so far ... Im afraid that's about all I can say on Glynn! ... except for the sexiest coastguard in North Wales?!!! good grief? was it a part of wales that is inland?!

I just have to laugh at people who are skinny and geeky and you wouldnt look twice at them if they passed you in the street YET they have some kind of strange mirrors in their houses that show them to be strikingly handsome with fabulous muscular toned bodies. He looked a total fool in that lifeguard's outfit and he seemed a teensybit backward to me.

It's characters like this that make me wonder how the hell they got on here??

I have said it before and I will say again - what are they looking for and who is doing the choosing. Howabout they throw the judging panel open one year and let the public vote on who they want to go in......oooooh food for thought.

Ah but he may come in useful if someone goes in the pool and discovers they can't swim. He can probably resuscitate and I bet he has a scouts badge in first aid.

Now do I get any points for my defence?

Aw....I think Glynn is ok, he's just very young.
I admire him for having the bottle to have a word with Shabbaz about him touching him......even if he didnt' take any notice. You could tell he was really nervous about doing it too.

Yes that must have been tramatic(spelling) for him, Shabbaz is so in your face and Glyn is happy to stay in the background and say very little, maybe he will come into his own when he finds his feet.

The other thing about that conversation was that Shabbaz was trying the make it seem as though Glyn was homophobic....whereas Glyn said that he didn't like any men touching him....straight or gay. Then Shabbaz went on about how Glyn gets touched by men when he plays rugby and how any of them could be gay.
Glynn also left a conversation that Shabbaz was having with some of the others that I think centered around sex....and Shabbaz went on and on about hoy Glyn didn't want to talk anything gay. Glyn was trying to say....he didn't care about that other people did but he didn't want to listen to it and wasn't interested, but again Shabbaz tried to make him appear homophobic.
I don't like the way Shabbaz is treating Glyn at all.

I don't lie the way Shabaz is treating Glyn either, Mink. He's refusing to stop touching Glyn. He likes to be tactile, Glyn doesn't. So why does Shabbaz think his will is the one that should be imposed?

I think it was Dawn who said that if it was an 18 year old girl being bothered by a 37 year old straight man the others would have put a stop to it be now and he'd be branded an old perv. I think she wanted to say something, but didn't want to upset him because she shares a bed with him.

mazwad
22-05-2006, 06:22 PM
I would sleep on the floor rather than share a bed with him. I am not that comfortable with very tactile people gay or otherwise and I admired Glyn for at least trying to stand up for himself. Shazbah did everything he could to twist Glyns words to make him appear homophobic.

I hope Glyn continues to stand up for himself as it was the most I had heard him say so far.

Yes TE Glyn is ours for the duration so defend him at will.

Amazing how a few clothes can brighten up someones personality. I thought both Glyn and Bonnie relaxed when their clothes arrived.

"I can get into the sex conversations quite easily, I can get into the sport conversations, and talking about Wales," he told Richard, "but then I feel a bit lost when we talk about other things."

I am warming to Glynn - i dont think he has a bad bone in his elongated body and he has wisely kept some free space between his ears for future development potential.

I think Glynn has got the sexual age of about 11!

He is an embarrassment to 18 year olds everywhere!

This is slightly off topic, but I agree with IOW, too many mothers do everything for their little treasures, boys and girls, that they leave home unable to fart alone.

I however, am not falling into that trap, my boys at the age of 13,10 and 8, are well able to change beds, make sandwiches, make cups of tea for their elderly infirm parents, fill the dishwasher etc etc.....

Anyway, back on topic....I think Glyn is great, he makes me laugh...

In the diary room he was moaning about them putting another Londoner n the house, he will have nothing in common with her and nothing to talk about, so he will just make her tea and be nice til she has done her nominations on Monday and he makes sure she doesn't nominate him. Good lad!!
