Bonsai 25-05-2006, 12:18 PM Blimey - i wonder how she 'communicated with the outside world' then ? Normally they are given a warning first - not thrown out immediately :shocking: Seabreeze 25-05-2006, 12:23 PM I know in the past they have put certain t-shirts on to let family know they are happy or sad but have just been given a warning so it must have been a lot worse than that to evict her straight away Bonsai 25-05-2006, 12:51 PM Just read this on BB site. Dawn found a way to communicate with the outside world, but now her secret is out. Following Dawn's departure from the House this morning, the housemates were called to the Lounge. Pete read out a laminate from Big Brother, explaining the real reason for Dawn having been given the elbow. "Dawn has been removed for breaking rules and will not be returning," Pete read. He continued to read Big Brother's riot act about how rule breaking is not tolerated. The housemates seemed unperturbed when they heard the news of Dawn's rule breaking. Lea quickly brought everyone up to speed about how Dawn had devised a plan with her family and friends: if there was any bad press about Dawn, she would receive a cunning 'your sister is ill' message. The secret message was delivered to Dawn yesterday, but of course Big Brother sussed her out. You don't mess with Big Brother, Dawn! bridge 25-05-2006, 03:44 PM oh well at least she can wash her arm pits now! Critique 25-05-2006, 03:52 PM What they didn't say was that Dawn had already said she was leaving when she found out that she wasn't included in the Big Brotherhood and would therefore not get her suitcase, even if she wasn't voted off. She immediately told everyone that she didn't intend to stay or be evicted without her own clothes and went into the diary room and said she wanted to leave. She was then later seen saying goodbye to everyone and we presumed she'd gone. Next time I watched she was back in. Once again she was summoned to DR and said goodbye to everyone but again she was sent back to the House. Despite the fact that she said she wanted to leave BEFORE Big Brother's Little Brother aired at 7.30, they still put up her phone vote number so getting people to vote for someone they knew wasn't going to be in there. They finally released her this morning with the story that she'd been removed for breaking the rules. It all sounds a bit suspicious to me. Would they have removed her without a warning if she hadn't already said she wanted to leave, I wonder? Did they think it looked better for them to have removed someone than having 2 housemates walk in the first week? I dunno - will have to see how they edit it :) PJ 25-05-2006, 04:42 PM if there was any bad press about Dawn, she would receive a cunning 'your sister is ill' message. The secret message was delivered to Dawn yesterday I don't get it - why was it delivered? Has there been bad press about Dawn then? I will miss her in there. I liked her. Cat 25-05-2006, 06:09 PM I think there is more to this. She has apparently talked about 'The Cause' alot - must admit I didn't ever hear it, and when ever she did the sound always dipped. Was she in there to promote a 'Cause'. I could see her being some religious nutter, just look at the way she totally made herself out to be evil and horrid in the interviews, when actually she was exceptionally clear headed and likeable. She was the only one who could control Shebang. Veeerrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy Intresting. PJ 25-05-2006, 06:13 PM I think there is more to this. Bob 25-05-2006, 06:33 PM Well what a shame, Dawn was very likable and it would have made for very intersting viewing if she had ways of getting messages and a cause to promote. Can't blame her for smelling if not washed and the housemates should have thought of a way to tell her about her BO problem straight away if it really bothered them. BB don't seem to be too bothered about hanging onto housemate this year, they didn't even try to get Shabaz to stay and I can't remember anyone being evicted for rule breaking bar nasty nick. I know Emma was removed in BB5 but that wasn't for rule breaking. Maybe they made a mistake with the golden tickets and need to free up some more space Cat 25-05-2006, 07:04 PM What's "The Cause"? And I also think there's more to this story. Then PJ, we both must find the cause of the Cause. Nich War? PJ 25-05-2006, 07:36 PM Then PJ, we both must find the cause of the Cause. Nich War? What's "The Cause"? :mad2: Cat 25-05-2006, 07:41 PM What's "The Cause"? :mad2: Ich weis nich...du weis Pedro? PJ 25-05-2006, 07:53 PM Ich weis nich...du weis Pedro? Critique 25-05-2006, 08:00 PM Here's her cause: http://www.afpah.com/ I don't see how going in there for publicity for her cause is any worse than the Celebs doing the same thing (George Galloway said that's why he went in there I believe). She admitted that she'd made up the persona of hating people, etc. just to get on the prog because she had previously been turned down as not being interesting enough, but I don't see that is a crime, she's not the only one who hasn't been totally honest about their real selves. She was naughty with the secret message/code but I believe that had she not said she wanted to go, they would have just given her a warning. It appears that they just decided to make themselves look better by removing her instead of letting her walk out. It's a bit like saying to the boss "I quit" and the boss saying "too late, you're sacked" isn't it? Anyway, it's Big Brother. They can change the rules every hour if they want to :) Patsy 25-05-2006, 08:31 PM I'm really disappointed in Dawn. I thought she would have more backbone than to worry about how she looked if/when she was evicted with the same clothes on. If she hadn't been pushed, she would have walked anyway, at the very first hurdle. IsLe Of WeAtHeR 26-05-2006, 07:50 AM aaah poor dawn noone liked you enough to give you a hat and you could not take being first evicted. so you went in a huff and wanted to leave. what a rubbish housemate and a shallow character. thank god that she has gone. . her performance last night was pathetic. Bonsai 01-06-2006, 08:46 AM I just read this on Yahoo:- Former Big Brother housemate Dawn Blake has gone on hunger strike in a bid to force the show's producers to hand over unedited footage of her time inside. The 38-year-old yoga fanatic said she was held against her will and needs evidence of her requesting to leave the house to support a complaint she has made to police. Dawn said she was also furious about assertions made in the programme that she had refused to wash. The Birmingham exercise scientist insisted she had taken three showers and washed a further three times during her six days on the show. Dawn said: "When I came out of the Big Brother house I saw how I was portrayed and a lot of it is not true, it's been edited in a way I don't like, not because I don't look so great but because it's just not true. "When they said they booted me out, I said I wanted to leave. When they said Dawn refused to wash, that was so untrue. "I am asking for a copy of the unedited footage in its entirety and I will remain on hunger strike until I get it. I will continue until I pass out." Dawn said she could not afford the legal fees to bring a case for defamation and said going on hunger strike was her only option. In a statement, she said: "I was smeared by the production team as a smelly cheat. I have therefore decided until I get all the footage requested unedited and documentation I will go on hunger strike as of today. I want everyone to see what happened in the house and only getting the tapes will you all see the truth." A spokeswoman for the programme said Dawn, who left on the morning of 25 May, was booted out of the Big Brother house for breaking the rules. Let her starve :glare: MariaRob 01-06-2006, 12:43 PM Who gives a Monkeys, she wanted to leave, she is now forgotton. Rob 01-06-2006, 06:05 PM I don't like her - but I have a certain amount of sympathy for her - she asked to leave the night before - there was no reason to keep her in the house that long. Shabaz asked to leave and went immediately. Cat 01-06-2006, 06:27 PM She is beginning to turn into the lady in her audition tapes isn't she. What was she thinking of going on this show, it's the 7th one for gods sake, she should have know the score about selective editing. I think IOW has it in the bag, she didn't get a hat which showed she was less liked and would more than likely have been the first evicted. By staging her complaint in such a public way she is just highlighting the fact that she is an A1 TW@T. And I bet she did stink. |
